Its been a bit over a week since the principal told us about the tournament that will be in less than 1 month since then we have played many games to improve ourselves and create new strategies to use, while Charlotte, Greg, Ishin and I had to balance buddy police missions too though as usual we had managed. Today we all decided to meet up at Cardshop Ruin to get in some more practice with our decks.

"Hi Young Hero" Trevor greeted

"Hi Trevor, are the others here yet" Masayo asked

"No not yet, you're the first one here"

"I see, well I guess I'll search for another opponent while I wait"

I entered the shop and walked around for a bit with Red already out of his card.

"Do you think the others will be awhile" Red asked keeping vigilance

"Yeah, hopefully not too long, is something wrong Red" Masayo asked his buddy sensing somethings wrong

"I'm getting a bad feeling from somewhere in the store"

"The source of the vibe is approaching"

A person came out from a shelf near us to reveal Kreg Preston but he had a weird vibe then back when he fought Charlotte.

"Hey you're Kreg Preston, you haven't been here in a while"

"Heh, thats because I have a new crew and we don't take kindly to you and your little group" Kreg replied in a somewhat venomous tone

"Masayo I sense something evil around him"

"Whats up with you Kreg, where is this crew of yours"

"Oh I came along, or if your asking where their from I went overseas to East Europe and thats where I met them, they also gave me this"

He reached his hand into his deck holder and pulled out a purple deck case with a demonic slit eye as the crystal with a bone like outline with a purple aura surrounding it.

"What, why do you have a Dark Core deck case, you need to get rid of that at once" Masayo yelled

"Now why would I do that, this thing has given me amazing power like you haven't seen before, I'm better then anyone"

"That thing doesn't give you power, it corrupts people, making them do evil things, if you won't hand it over willingly I'll have to defeat you and destroy it"

"Ha, good luck so called boy wonder"

With that Kreg and I went down to the fight stage in the basement of the store and took our positions.

"My time for you to meet my buddy, Golcrash Dragon"

At that moment in a vortex of fire a purple dragon wearing armour known as Golcrash Dragon appeared.

"Foolish human, thinking you can take us on is the acts of a buffoon"

"Are you going to be able to handle this sir" Red asked

"Don't worry Red, lets just focus on the match" Masayo replied

"The heroes with a never ending passion! Crash onto the scene to take down dishonesty! Luminize! Blazing Justice Force!"

"An army of dragons blood red! Display your unrivalled rage and demonstrate your resolve of power! Dark Luminize! Blood Burst of Draco!"

Kreg's Dark Core became a blood coloured dagger with a flame shaped blade.

"Buddy" Masayo started

"Fight" Kreg finished

"Time to raise the flag" Both fighters yelled in unison

"I fight for Hero World" Masayo announced

"Well I fight for Dragon World" Kreg announced

~Meanwhile~

"Wonder if Masayo is here already" Charlotte said as the rest of the group entered

"Lets check the monitor for the fight stage" Yudai suggested

They look at the monitor to see the match between me and Kreg.

"Wait isn't that Kreg" Charlotte said shocked

"It is him I'd recognise that smug face anywhere" Greg said

"Guys look at his core gadget" Yudai said pointing to the dagger

Everyone focuses their gaze on the dagger to see it was a Dark Core.

"A Dark Core, I thought those were all destroyed" Charlotte said shocked

"Something tells me that someone is planning something for the world again" Tai stated

"Yeah" Jessie said in a un easy tone

'I hope that their ok back home' Jessie thought

"It looks like that Masayo challenged Kreg because of the Dark Core" Tsukomo stated

A blood red orb with Song of Burning March written on it appeared near me.

I was surrounded in a blue aura and I was covered by Red's armour.

"I destroy Extreme Sword Dragon with Road Blader's ability, then I cast Hyper Energy to charge my gauge by 4"

"Maxstorm attack the fighter"

"I cast Red Dragon Shield paying 2 gauge I nullify the attack and deal 1 damage"

"I'll attack next, Road Blade"

"Kekeke, I can make any trap you want"

"Sir that monster is" Red said from a blue room with an orb displaying the fight

"Don't tell me its"

"Thats right Mr Justice its a Hundred Demons card"

"A Hundred Demons" Everyone watching the fight yelled

"But they were destroyed"

"Oh you'd think that wouldn't you, but my friends and I are bringing them back and trust me when I say you won't stop us"

"You're making a mistake"

'Masayo' Charlotte thought

"Back to this match with Trap Master I add a Dragon World Set spell to my hand, so I'll add Dragon Return System"

"Here you go boss"

Trap Master Dragon tossed me an orb with the initials DRS.

"Activating the effect of Song of Burning March I pay 1 gauge and deal you 1 damage"

"I call Blade Wing Dragon to the left"

"Trap Master, Blade Wing link attack the fighter"

"I cast Justice Will Prevail"

"Counterattack, destroying Blade Wing Dragon"

"Paying 1 gauge I cast It's about Time I Got Serious to draw 2 cards"

"He stands and attacks the fighter"

Red's armour disappeared from my body.

"Cast! Emergency launch! Forming up to bring about the meaning of justice to villains! Impact! Emergency Trans!"

"I pay 1 gauge Transform, Explosion Takedown, Rampage Sonic"

Light particles surrounded my body then heavy silver police armour encased my body with a light red sword.

I removed most of the armour leaving myself with the arm and leg armour as well as the head gear and sword.

"RAMPAGE SONIC"

"NOT AGAIN"

My sword slashed Kreg and his life points went down to 0 and his flag was destroyed.

"Game Over, Winner Masayo Jonetsu"

"Operation Complete" Masayo said with my fist in the air

"Now I'll take custody of that Hundred Demon's"

"I can't let you do that" Kreg stated

"You won't be able to use the stairs" Charlotte said blocking the stairs

"Who said I'd use the stairs" Kreg said with an evil grin

At that moment a black aura surrounded Kreg.

"Demon Force on"

Kreg's hair grew and fire markings appeared on his face.

"What is that" Greg asked shocked

"Thats not Disaster Force" Charlotte stated

'Its not Chaos Force either' Jessie thought

'Is it Spirit mode' Tai thought

"Hahaha, a little trick this unique Dark Core gives me now"

Kreg grabs a card and it glows.

"I cast Dragon Flame"

The cards power became real and the whole area was surrounded in flames, as the flames disappeared Kreg disappeared with the Hundred Demon's card still in his possession.

"He got away" Masayo said in anger

"Are you ok Masayo" Charlotte asked concerned

Masayo hid his face for a second and after a moment he wore his smile again.

"I'm fine, but one things for sure the tournament and his appearance in my opinion is not a coincidence" Masayo stated

"So you think they will be in the tournament too" Greg asked

"Yeah" Masayo answered

"I think Masayo is right" Jessie stated

"Me too, I went through something similar, it maybe happening here too" Tai replied

"I won the match but it feels like I would have lost if it weren't for my impact card"

"You really think so" Yudai asked

"Yeah, I think we should improve our skills"

"How do you suggest we do that Masayo" Tsukomo asked

"Greg, Charlotte, you guys wanna go on a trip" Masayo asked

"Masayo you don't mean" Greg asked

"I think he does" Charlotte stated

"Lets go train in the worlds our buddy's are from" Masayo exclaimed
