Skye awoke to same nightmare again. She awoke quickly, panting heavily. Her heartbeat skyrocketing. She was sweating and lucky Hiccup wasn't awake from his deep slumber. Skye would of sat up, except she couldn't. She had a strong force pulling her downwards. It wasn't until Skye heard someone breathing calmly behind her that she remembered, she was sharing a bed with Hiccup. Wait, she and Hiccup were . . sharing a bed! They were sleeping together! Skye only got shivers in her spine, thinking about it. Sure the bed was warmer, but still. . the Chief of Berk is sharing a bed with some girl who has issues he wouldn't understand. Skye tried to get up again, but she couldn't. For a scrawny guy, Hiccup was pretty strong. He just wouldn't let go. His arms were attached, cuddling with her. She liked it, but she wouldn't let her feelings get the best of her. He held on to Skye ever so tightly. Like if he were protecting her. Skye only managed to turn around and face him. He slept innocently, he looked adorable. When she didn't see those hypnotizing green eyes, Skye could think in peace. She wouldn't think of him that much. What was happening to her? Skye smiled at just seeing his face, then quickly stopped, remembering he was the Chief and that he was already engaged. He wouldn't want anything to do with her, except getting home. She heard a creaking noise. She looked toward the door to see Daybreaker looking at her with cheesy cliché eyes. Skye signaled her to wait downstairs. With that look she knew Daybreaker already had her own ideas about her and Hiccup. Daybreaker had the habit to do so. As Daybreaker listened and obeyed her instructions, Skye began squirming slowly, moving downwards. When Hiccup slightly moved, Skye took the opportunity to escape from his grasp. Success! Skye got off the bed quietly. Since she was fast and light on her feet, she was able to make it out without disturbing Hiccup. She couldn't say the same for Toothless, who perked his ears up, when he heard the door close. He knew that Hiccup was still sleeping, due to the peg leg hanging off the bed. The only person Skye. Finally he made his move, he thought, but then he remembered Astrid and decide that it was best to keep quiet. Silence, was an ally right now, especially for Toothless. He'd speak his mind, especially when it was about Hiccup, Astrid, his friends, Valka, Gibber, Stoick, or his favorite, girls. It always made Hiccup react in some weird way. He and Hiccup both knew that he could stubborn about that. Stubborn as a yak, Toothless thought. He decided to follow Skye down the stairs and watch her from above. This could be truly entertaining.

There Toothless sat watching Skye negotiate with Daybreaker about what they were going to do. Toothless only had to perk his ears up.

"Come on girl. Let's fly, let the boys sleep in, they really need it. Especially, Toothless. Did you see him yesterday, obnoxious!" Skye said already knowing he was there.

Daybreaker snickered. Toothless didn't like it, not one bit. So he walked down angrily without disturbing Hiccup and began talking to the snickering girls, wanting to prove them wrong. Skye calmed him down.

"Toothless. Shh, you'll wake Hiccup up. We don't want a grumpy Chief. It's OK. I'm just playing. That's for watching us, don't be a snitch. Got it. No snitching, no talking bad things about you ok. I haven't found anything bad about you, Toothless that's good." Skye explained as Toothless smiled.

"I'll be back later. Don't wake him up, ok." Skye said to him.

Toothless nodded, as Skye left a note on the table and exited the door. Daybreaker was behind her and sassily walked out waving her tail, making Toothless' eyes follow, wanting to go with her. The only way to go and see Daybreaker is to. . . Toothless looked back to the room, maliciously almost evily. Wakey, wakey, Toothless thought. Toothless tip toed up the stairs, slowly one by one. He opened the door to notice that Hiccup had already woken up.

Hiccup had gotten up because he felt cold. When he was with Skye, it was right, so warm and perfect. Hiccup also noticed that his arms weren't grabbing anything, alarming him. He quickly thought something had happened to her. He saw Toothless open the door.

"What were you doing so up early?" Hiccup asked raising an eyebrow still in bed.

Toothless quickly ran up to him and began pulling his shirt.

"What is it?" Hiccup asked.

Toothless ran up behind him and with his front paws, he pushed him forward, jolting him out of bed.

"Toothless!" Hiccup said his voice, muffled.

Toothless snickered, and then got back to the point. He quickly ran down the stairs. Hiccup followed.

"Hey, were not done yet, Toothless. Toothless!" Hiccup got up, looking at where Toothless used to be.

He wasn't there anymore. Hiccup went downstairs, searching for Toothless. Toothless was trying to pick the note up, with his mouth. He did after, a few trials at it. He then turned to meet Toothless, he was anxious, Hiccup could tell.

"What's this bud? A note. You are very anxious today, aren't you. Does it have to do with Skye and Daybreaker not being here?" Hiccup said as Toothless playfully nodded.

The note said:

Dear Tornado Hairs,

Rise and shine! Went out to get some fish and stretch my legs. Be back in a few. Don't do anything or touch anything!

Skye

Hiccup smiled when he read "Tornado Hairs". Atleast she thought of him. So they went to get fish. Hiccup went to open the fridge, there were plenty fish there. At least 20. So what was she up to? Hiccup wondered.

"Whoo! " He heard.

His thoughts were interrupted, when he heard a loud scream. It was Skye, he knew that voice anywhere. What's she doing?

"Come on bud, let's she what they are up to." Hiccup said, as Toothless ran out the door, finally getting what he wanted.

Hiccup ran upstairs, put his boot on, and then came back downstairs where Toothless was already out the door, waiting outside. Hiccup passed through the opened door and smelled the fresh air. So crisp and clear. Hiccup remembered how he entered her checkpoint, so it would be easy to get out and in. Hiccup exited the checkpoint, Toothless right behind him. Once they made it to a hill, Hiccup felt the wind through every single piece of hair on his head. He waited for the voice to get louder. They curiously followed the noise, until Hiccup finally understood what she was doing.

Skye and Daybreaker hovered over the water, rippling their reflections every time her fingers touched the water. The speed picked up and Skye loved it. They did tight turns and then a barrel roll, except she stayed upside down, waving her hands. Daybreaker suddenly began twisting herself. Together she and Skye seemed to be one until they stopped. Skye and Daybreaker were now up in the clouds. It was infinite up there. Almost never ending. The view was one of the greatest Skye had ever seen. It gave her a sense of freedom.

"Daybreaker, lets try out my invention again!!!" Skye said smiling smugly.

Daybreaker only rolled her eyes.

"Oh, come on. You like it too. We'll be fine, its not like Hiccup and Toothless are up yet. Come on, one try. . . please!!!" Skye begged making her puppy face.

Daybreaker only sighed. She flew up really high and stopped so Skye, could set her invention up. She buckled it on and untangled the knots holding her to her invention.

"Ready!" Skye said excitingly.

Daybreaker nodded and then dropped into what seemed like and endless abyss of clouds. The wind was in her hair and Skye loved it! Here we go the drop off. Skye slid off of Daybreaker as Daybreaker halted once she felt the extra weight vanish. Skye jumped off her dragon!!! Was she insane! Hiccup stared at her. What was she thinking?!?!? Hiccup followed her shadow.

"What is that thing in her back?" Hiccup asked.

Skye went head first into what seemed like the reflection and shadow of her getting closer to the luminescent blue waters. Then at the minute, she pushed a button on her chest, releasing the fabric parachute. The dense fibers caught the wind, as Skye jolted up. She immediately took manual control of her parachute, by using the levers on the side controlling where it would go and turn.

"Ha!!! It's working!!! Daybreaker its working!!!!" Skye said as Daybreaker followed behind her at a distance, so neither of them would get tangled in the parachute strings.

Skye didn't notice that the parachute was following the wind current, leading into a rocky arch mountain. It had been formed that way naturally by erosion. Skye noticed and tried changing the direction but she couldn't do it.

"Oh no!!! Daybreaker!" Skye called as she was heading towards the giant body of rock.

There was a ledge. Skye tried to press the button but it was jammed. She pressed it time and time again, but nothing. With that Skye grabbed her dagger from her belt and cut the bottom of the strings and then cutting the button, dropping her down into the rocky water bellow. Daybreaker caught her hand with her paw fortunately. The only thing was that she began to slip between her paws.

"Daybreaker!!! Help!!! Ahhh!" Skye screamed, frightened.

Hiccup only stood from the sidelines. He began saddleing up, in case anything happened. Fortunately, he didn't need to since Daybreaker caught Skye's boot, hanging her upside down. She smiled.

"Thanks girl!" Skye said as they landed near where Hiccup and Toothless were hiding.

Skye brushed herself off, "Thanks girl! We just gotta work on your catching skills, but otherwise, you never feel more alive than if you're going to die. Great way to start the day!"

Daybreaker looked at her. She couldn't believe her. She almost died and instead of worrying she says that has to be a better catcher. That's it!!! Daybreaker knew they were by shallow water since the beach was 10 minutes away, so she gave Skye a look and sitting up she pushed Skye into the shallow ocean water.

"Whoa!" Skye said splashing into the water. Skye swam up to the surface. She cleared the bangs from her face. Daybreaker snickered maliciously. Skye climbed up the hill soaking wet.

"Daybreaker that's it! What was that for? Great now I'm soaking wet!" Skye said as Toothless ran up to her, grinning a gummy smile.

"Toothless? What did I tell you. To wait until Hiccup got. . ." Skye was cut of by Hiccup.

"Up. I'm up, and I'm glad that I am up. You could of died!! What were you thinking?" Hiccup asked checking every inch of her face, holding and then cupping it, rechecking over and over again.

Skye pushed him away. This was weird! It seemed he actually cared! Please, just acting she thought. She then swatted his hand away when he tried to check her face again. To Hiccup her face was as soft as a newborns skin.

"I'm fine, Hiccup. That's the best way to start your day, almost dying! What a page turner!" Skye said quickly nodding her head, sprinkling water everywhere like a dog would to dry himself off.

Hiccup closed his eyes, he was now wet. Sort of like Toothless when he licks him.

"Great. Now I'm wet." Hiccup said accusing her.

Skye replied, "That for spying on me. Don't spy on people you trust."

Skye then walked up to Daybreaker trying to push her over. Daybreaker only used her paw to push her over, landing on her butt. Hiccup helped her up, lifting her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her up. Skye got up and dusted herself off.

"Thank you, Hiccup. Your being useful and nice, unlike Daybreaker. Pesky dragon." Skye said looking at her.

Toothless wanted to try. That looked like fun. So Toothless pushed Hiccup forward on Skye. He and Daybreaker snickered. Hiccup was once again face to face with her. He blushed turning red. Skye swallowed her giggles. He cleared his throat.

"Sorry, this is really. . " Hiccup said thinking of a word; he just couldn't think right when he was with her.

Skye finished his sentence,"Awkward. This is awkward Hiccup. "

"Yeah." He replied, his cheeks getting rosier.

They departed and stood up. Skye smiled, she was getting butterflies again.

"I think I need to freshen up for the trip." Skye said heading back towards the checkpoint.

"I agree." Hiccup said feeling a sharp pain in his shoulder.

The bruise. Maybe a warm shower would alleviate the pain for sometime. The two pesky dragons followed, returning to the checkpoint.

Skye and Hiccup had finally, left the checkpoint after they pulled the parachute off the ledge. They hadn't spoken over the course of the journey. Hiccup still had pain in his shoulder, he hoped they would be there soon. They flied over a large landmass. Hiccup was following Skye, and like Skye, they landed by a forest.

"Come on, Hiccup. We are almost there." Skye said.

Hiccup followed her and Daybreaker into the forest. Skye stopped in front of a mountain. It was a darkish charcoal color and just by touching it, you knew there was snow on top of it. On the ground it was almost summer like. Hiccup was confused, why did she stop in front of the mountain, there wasn't an opening. No caves, or caverns, not even a cove. Skye walked beside a tree and began clearing the branches.

"Skye what are you doing? Shouldn't we be going to your house?" Hiccup asked.

Skye replied, "We are. I'm just looking for. . .aha!"

Hiccup noticed that under all those branches was a lever. It was metallic, but it had been painted to camouflage with its surroundings. Suddenly, the mounting began to change. Skye covered the lever again with branches and the a fake bush. The mountain separated into a cave. The dark hallway seeming to go forever. Hiccup gasped.

"Wow!" Hiccup said in awe.

Skye laughed, "That isn't the best part. Come on Chief, ladies first."

Hiccup glared at her as he took one step

"Did you just call me a girl?" Hiccup said cocking an eyebrow at her.

Skye raised her hands up, "Maybe, by the tiny braids in your hair, I'd say you are. . .but I could be wrong. I'm usually never wrong."

Hiccup looked at her and gave her a face.

"Wow, you just festered to all of this." Hiccup gestured to all him, then he continued.

"You gestured to all of this as a girl. I don't think so. . ." Hiccup said walking up to her.

He faced her.

"You have something on your. . . " Skye pointed at his face, specifically his nose.

Hiccup looked down and Skye lightly touched his nose.

"Got your nose!" Skye said running into the cave.

It was dark, so Hiccup couldn't see. He stopped after a few steps into the cave.

"Skye! Come back! I'm not finished with you yet!" Hiccup called.

He only heard her giggle. Her laugh echoed through every corner.

"Daybreaker, low ember please!" Skye called.

Daybreaker obeyed lighting up the way. Skye was at the end if the hallway by another lever. She laughed. Hiccup walked up to her. He pushed her tauntingly.

"Welcome to my home. I have to warn you, its full of stuff, so have that in mind." Skye warned as she lifted the lever.

Once again the wall in front of them moved. There was daylight. Hiccup only looked at her house in aww. There was a waterfall with gardens and a hill and her house. Daybreaker ran in, Toothless right after her. Skye laughed as she noticed Hiccup smirking at her.

"So am I a good looking girl or am I normal?" Hiccup asked teasingly.

Skye thought about it as they stepped inside the cavern. There was another lever inside. Skye pushed it downward, making the hallway close.

"You are bad looking girl." Skye said tsking him.

Hiccup looked at her, "Thats it! Your going down Skye!"

She made a run for it. She made it up to a hill beside her house, where there was a tree. Skye hid behind it, but Hiccup found her, holding her wrists.

"Gotcha!" He said.

He pinned her against the tree.

"Are you sure am I'm a bad looking girl?" Hiccup said looking in her eyes.

"Ok, your an ok guy. Not a girl, but a guy." She said.

"Happy?" She said scrunching her nose.

Hiccup had to admit that she was cute when she did that.

"Just ok?" Hiccup asked.

Skye rolled her eyes, "Your a perfect Hiccup. There, you happy?"

Hiccup thought about it, giving her time to pin him to the tree bark. She smirked.

"You take too long to think things over, Hiccup. " Skye said.

Hiccup replied, "That's one of my specialties."

Skye added, "Other than modeling braids. . . "

Hiccup pushed her over.

"My fiancée does them. I don't like them, but I can tolerate them." Hiccup said correcting her.

Skye crossed her arms, "I think it suits you. "

Hiccup looked smirked.

"So, I'm a perfect Hiccup, perfect. I'm perfect in your perspective?" Hiccup smirked, making her blush.

"I. . . I . . I didn't mean it in that way. . . ", She said covering her cheeks.

Hiccup laughed, " Thanks, I appreciate it. I like how, every time I'm right you turn red. It suits you. "

Skye punched his shoulder, "That's not funny."

Hiccup laughed. The sun began setting.

"Come on Tornado braids, let's dress your wounds. We better get inside." Skye said walking down the hill, towards her house.

It was big with a large stable and feeding station. She had a map room, inventing room, kitchen, three rooms with bathrooms in them, living room, and a few more rooms. It also had a pinwheel, just like her checkpoint did. Skye showed him his room, while Daybreaker gave Toothless a tour. Skye then made dinner and after dinner, Hiccup went to shower. His arms began hurting immensely.

"Hiccup!!!!" Skye called.

He fell to the ground. . . .
