M'gann's POV

"Reconised: Suni B06." Rang out through the cave. I got up and walked to the zeta-tube to see Suni walking around, but it looked like she had a slight limp, she was wearing a jacket over what appeared to be her uniform, as well as a hood pulled over her face.

"Hey Suni, what are you doing here?" I smiled at her, but then noticed that she seemed a little fidgety.

"Oh-um hey, d-do you think I would be able to stay here for a while, you um-see my parents are going away for a while and they know that some of you stay here so they were hoping I could stay because you know being a hero now I didn't want to go so-you know what forget I even came." She started walking back over to the zeta-tubes.

"Of course you can stay Suni, we have enough rooms, stay as long as you need to okay?"

"Thanks M'gann." She replied as I have her a hug, but she seemed to flinch slightly under the contact, before walking up to a spare room.

I could tell something was off so as she was walking away I tried to go into her mind and see if I could figure it out, but as soon as I entered I was overcome by the emotions and thoughts running through her head, I couldn't pick up one really. I gave a small scream and fell to the floor.

Connor came over to me and helped me off the floor. "M'gann. Are you okay? What happened?"

"I-I tried to figure out what was wrong with Suni, but she-she had so many emotions, so many thoughts it was too much. I've never had that happen before" I say, confusion and worry etched on my face as I stare off where Suni dissapeared.

"Come on I think we should go to bed." He said as he looked at me, concern clear on his face.

Sunis POV

I sat in the bed and took my jacket off to reveal bruises and scratches littered over my body. I went into my bag and put some disinfectant on my cuts. I looked at my ankle and I was pretty sure it was broken. I put a makeshift cast out of vines on my leg, before finding bandages and wrapping them around my almost positively cracked ribs. At least the rest were just bruises and scratches, but I'll definitely need to be off missions for a while. "Damn it!"
