SUMMARY 

Ylva Mikaelson was innocent once, just like her siblings. Born with big blue eyes and blonde hair that sparkled in the sun, she didn't know what life would have in store for her. She didn't know that her father would strike her and her older brother down every chance he had. She didn't know that her younger brother would be mauled by wolves. She didn't know that her mother would call upon dark magic to turn her and her siblings into monsters. And she didn't know that her mother's dirty little secret would be brought out into the open upon their transition. She knew none of it. 

One thousand years later, little Ylva Mikaelson finds herself back in her hometown and sees that its inhabitants are just as annoyingly moronic as the ones from 1000 AD.
