Okay, so today is Valentine's Day. Now, to be fair, I don't and never have liked Valentine's Day. Mostly because I'm a lonely bitch who's not good enough for anyone. Anyway, instead of basing characters by their grade, this time I'm basing them on their species. Felines and Canines. I think it'd be easier on me to do it this way, so I intend on doing it this way. Again, this does not affect the main storyline in any way. The song featured is by a furloid called Waltt. He's a cat and a furloid is an Utau, but it's a furry. I highly recommend looking them up. Anyway, onto the story.

Y/N's POV

So, today was Valentine's Day. AKA, time for single people to be lonely and cry in bed all day. At my old school, the most I got from Valentine's Day was a few bruises and cuts. That's all I ever got. I was walking to school, talking badly about myself. Not once in my life have I ever been in a relationship. I don't think I'll ever be in one. I thought about it and decided to just not go to school today. I don't want to see anyone kissing, hugging, or whatever while knowing it's never going to happen to me. As I turn around to head back home, I meet face to face with Ryan. Well, more like face to chest due to his height. He looks down at me and says "Hey cutie, school's in the opposite direction." I then see Ethan and Alex run over. They say hi to me as I pass them. Alex then asks "Y/N, are you not going to school today?" I look at Alex and said "No, not today. I don't feel so good." Ethan then looks at me with suspicion. He smiles before telling Ryan something. Ryan smirks and says "Well, if your not feeling well, then you're going to see the nurse." I then say "No, I think I just want to go home and rest." Ryan then picks me up and over his shoulder as he says "Nope. If you're sleeping anywhere, it's in the infirmary." I struggle a bit, which makes Ethan, Alex, and Ryan laugh. I pout a bit as they take me to the infirmary. The nurse looks at me in confusion.

Ryan sets me down in a chair and tells the nurse "He says he's sick. I just wanted to make sure he's okay." Alex and Ethan fake cough and Ryan then says "And they want to as well." He sits next to me and wraps his arm around me. He then says after placing a kiss on my head "But I was more worried than them." Ethan and Alex roll their eyes and the nurse just says with a smile "Okay, I'll take care of it. You can head to class now." Ethan then says "Well I'm not leaving until I know that Y/N's okay." The others nod and the nurse laughs and says "Okay, but I won't be held responsible for your late absence."  They nod their heads and the nurse puts on some equipment. He has me open my mouth and places a thermometer under my tongue. He then says "Well, his temperature is fine. Now tell me, where does it hurt?" I then start sweating and said "My head and stomach." He nods and said "Well, I can give you a pain killer and that's about it. However, you're still healthy enough to go to class." I nod and walk out. Alex and the other 2 follow behind. We go to our first class, and I see hearts everywhere. I cringed a bit and the others just smiled. I sat down in my chair and saw a student kissing another one. I try to ignore it and wait till class starts. As soon as class starts, the first words that came out of the teacher's words made me sick to my stomach. What are those words, you ask? "Happy Valentine's Day." I try to ignore everything going on and wait till the teacher starts teaching something useful. After a few classes and the same bullshit I usually see on this sickening day, it was time for lunch. I head to my locker and pulled out my lunchbox. I head to the roof and see Sora with Damien and Lilith. I sit down and they start talking about random things. I wasn't interested in talking, so I headed to the other side of the roof. I let out a sigh of sadness and isolation. I feel a nearby presence and look beside me to see Ethan. He smiles at me and takes my lunchbox away. He then pulls his own, but places it on my lap. I then ask "For me?" He nods and says "Yup." I open it to see a boxed lunch with a bunch of heart shaped things inside. I look at him and thank him. I see Alex and Ryan head over and Alex hands me a card that he made. I open it and thank him. Ryan then picks me up and puts me on his lap. He flashed me a smile and hands me a bag of my favorite candy's. I thank them all and say "This means so much to me." I start to cry a bit and they all worry. Alex asks me in a soft voice "What's wrong? We didn't mean to hurt you if we did." I then shake my head and wipe away my tears. I then say "No, it's not like that. I love all that you've done for me. Every year, the only thing I got on this horrid day was a few cuts and bruises." Ryan then hugs me tightly and says "Don't worry. Not at this school and not anymore you won't." I nod and he brings my head to his chest and says "I'll protect you." Ethan then hugs me and says "We'll protect you." Alex hugs me too, which I can't help but cry in happiness. After school, we head to Ryan's to hang out. Most of the time I was just sitting on the couch while they hug me. Later, it got too late, so we stayed the night at Ryan's as they all cuddle into me, keeping me nice and warm.
