Y/N's POV~

Finally, the first week of school is over and it was time for me to go home, at least until Monday. I wait for Ethan and think about all the things that I'll tell mom. Hopefully dad's home from work so I can tell him about it too. I see Ethan come out of his room. He heads over to me and hugs me tightly. I accept the hug and we hurry to the bus to take us home. On the way back home, Ethan catches my attention and says "You know, you could've stayed if you wanted. Some people stay there over the weekend." I nod to him and said "Yeah, but I would rather go home. I don't want to live everyday having a dinner of pizza or ramen. Plus, I would like to tell my parents about my experience." He nods and says "Yeah, you have a good point. I go home anyway too." We start to talk about a lot of other things that are a bit off topic. It's what you should expect of us, we're childhood friends. Anyway, we finally get to our stop and head off the bus. We go our separate ways. I head inside my home to be greeted by my mother and she asks "So how was your first week of school?" I smile at her and said "Yeah, I already made 6 friends." She looks at me with stars in her eyes and says "That's very good. It's nice to know your making friends instead of enemies." She then says "Hey, maybe you might find yourself a special someone this year." I blush and think about all that happened this week. Blake sniffing my hair, Jonathon hugging me after I caught him from falling, Ethan hugging me, being taken into Ryan's room, and being held "prisoner" by Ace. I hide my blush and thankfully my mother didn't see it. I then said "Yeah, I don't think that'll happen." She laughs and says "So, how many guy friends and girl friends?" I then tell her and she says "Wow, so many in just one week." I smile at her and ask her about father. She then says "Sorry honey, but he's on a business trip. He'll be back later tonight though." I nod and reply with a "It's fine. I can wait." I decide to explore the neighborhood a bit since I really didn't do anything else ever since I got here. I walk down the sidewalk looking at every house. I see a few kids playing in the yard, some people walking around talking, and so on. This neighborhood seemed really nice. A lot better than the last one I had. It's hard to believe that an atmosphere can change almost entirely after moving only a few blocks away. I continue on and hear my name being called. I turn around only to be tackled by the one and only gray cat Ethan. He nuzzles into me a bit and asks what I was up to. I told him how I was just exploring the neighborhood. He nods and takes me on a little tour since he didn't give me one at the school.

Le timeskip~

We finished looking around the neighborhood and notice that it's getting late. We head to our homes and say goodnight. I walk in to see my father. I run up to him and he says "Hey, how was school this week?" I told him about everything that happened. Okay, not everything. I think I'd like to keep those things secret for now. Anyway, we talk for a bit and eat dinner. After I washed the dishes, I head to bed and thought about what next week will bring me.

Timeskip to morning~

I wake up from my sleep and head downstairs. I smell the scent of bacon, eggs, and french toast. I walk into the dining room, but I don't see mom. I look into the kitchen and am surprised to see someone I have never guessed would be here. "B-BLAKE?!?!" He looks at me with a smile and says "Good morning Y/N. I made you breakfast." I look at him in disbelief and my mom drops by and says "Good morning Y/N. I'm sorry for not waking you up sooner, but your friend here is quite the chef." I look at mom and said "That's not what I'm concerned about. Why did you let him in?" She then says "Sorry, but he came by this morning asking for you. You were still asleep, so I let him in to wait until you got up. I was about to make breakfast for you, but he insisted on doing it for me. And I got to say that he's a really good cook." Blake's ears flatten and he says "I'm sorry if you don't want to see me." I raise my hands in defense and say "No, it's not like that. I would've let you in, I'm just upset that my mom let you in without me knowing." He lightens up and says "That's good." After breakfast, I grab Blake's hand and drag him upstairs. I take him to my room and ask "How did you know I live here?" He then said "I saw you and Ethan walking together yesterday. I saw you two separate and head home." I nod in understanding and he pulls out a basket. He opens it and says "I was hoping you'd want to hang out." I look in the box to see it's full of macaroons. I nod and hear my mom call my name. I head downstairs with Blake behind me. I look to see Ethan there smiling. He hugs me and notices Blake and says "WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?!" I explained to him the situation and he nods and asks if I wanted to hang out with him. I nod and say "Sorry, but I'm bringing Blake." He then asks why and I told him "Blake already asked, and I don't want to leave him behind." Ethan then says with a forced smile "Okay, let's go." Blake smiles and we all head out together, unaware of what would happen later today.
