Y/N's POV~

I was a bit surprised at the question they just asked me. A polymerous relationship? With all of them? I wondered if they asked because of the pressure I'm under with the thought of choosing. Keeping that in mind, I give them my answer.

"No."

They all looked at me, both surprised and also with a hint of disappointment. However, Ace was the only one who didn't seem surprised, nor disappointed. He had a look of suspicion. My question was, what was he suspicious about? He approached me in a gentle manner and hugged me.

"Y/N, if you don't mind me asking, why?" Ace said in a gentle, yet curious tone.

They all looked at me, expecting an answer. I suppose I have to tell them my true thoughts on the idea.

"It's not like I don't want to. Believe me, I would love to be with all of you at once. But what would that mean for all of you? From the way I see it, you're all going to share me. Plus, do you know what others think about it? Imagine, 6 hunky Beastman, and the one human they share. I don't know about you, but that makes me seem like a bit of a slut. Not just a slut, but a plaything. A slave. Having 6 guys love me, yet also sharing me. It'd feel like I'm cheating. I do love all of you equally. I don't hate the idea of a polymerous relationship. But I don't want to be seen as the slut who pleases 6 guys."

They all look away from each other. Except for Ace and Ryan. The others seem to understand. Ryan and Ace as well, but what happened next surprised me.

Ace put a hand on my shoulder, about to tell me something. However, he was interrupted as Ryan came over.

Ryan kissed my forehead, holding me close to him. I lean my head against his chest. I listened to his heartbeat, feeling it pound. However, I hear a squeak from above me and look up with shock.

Ryan was kissing Ace. Ace was surprised and blushing red, but started kissing back. Not a make out session, if that's what you're wondering, but softly kissing him. Gentle pecks of the lips that just stayed there for longer than normal.

When they stopped, Ryan kneeled down to my height. He chuckles before kissing my cheek.

"Your main concern isn't your reputation, love. I can see that real easily. You're concerned about ours. We're the, as you just called, the hunky "Top 6" of our school. Many look at us with respect and wish they were with us. And us sharing you would look bad on us. You're not only concerned about that, but also concerned with the idea that we're only in agreement to share, not the idea we love each other. Well, screw what society says, Y/N. This will be a polymerous relationship. If we all love you, we'll all learn to love each other. I'm sure we'll make it work. So, what do you say? Is it a yes? Or is it a yes?"

I start to feel tears run down my face as he asked the second time. Was I that easy to read? Because everything he just said was true. I do care about how people see them. I do care about if they have feelings for each other. I do care about how things will go. If they're willing to risk all that, just so we can work things out with each other... Then I guess...

Ryan's POV~

I was caught off guard when Y/N hugged me tightly, crying a bit.

"Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! I love all of you so much! Please learn to love each other so we can all live happily in the future."

I smiled down at my new boyfriend, and looked at all my other new boyfriends. They all looked really happy with my convincing. They all came over and we all group hugged. Y/N in the center, leaking tears on my chest. We hugged like this for about 5 minutes, not caring about the questioning stares as people passed us.

After our little pile of affection, we all decided to head to Ace's place. I carried the small human on the way there, as he fell asleep shortly after his moment of weakness. I lied him down in Ace's bed.

Blake went over to Ace, asking if he could make dinner using his kitchen. Ace didn't mind, and apparently neither did his parents. Then again, they don't seem to be around at the moment. I wonder if Ace is used to eating by himself.

Just as I thought that, I felt a light, but also hard punch on my shoulder. The source being Ace himself. He was smiling at me, a light blush on his face.

"You're a real idiot, you know that?" He says with a light chuckle.

I couldn't help but laugh myself in response.

"You looked too cute to ignore at the moment. I'd do it over and over if I could." We both laughed and blushed at my own comment, before hearing a attention seeking "ahem" from the other 3 since Blake was in the kitchen, preparing dinner.

The main source came from Ethan. He seemed to want to say something, so we shut up to let him talk.

"Pardon me from interrupting the bromance between you two, but what Y/N said was kind of right. A lot of people are going to look down on us. Not to mention, what he said about us. He said he wants to live with all of us. I know it's a bit early to think about the future, but how do you think this will work?"

Ace and I both just shrugged. "We'll just have to see what happens." Ace said while shrugging his shoulders. He then got up and started to go towards Ethan. I smirked and followed suit as we cornered the smaller cat beastman into a corner, causing him to blush while realizing he was trapped.

I then grabbed ahold of his chin, forcing him to look up at us with a cute, innocent expression. I licked my lips while responding to Ace's comment. "Unless you have a problem with it~"

Ethan was a red, stuttering mess as I said that. Suddenly, we felt strong tugs at the back of our heads as Jonathan and Alex pulled at our shirt collars.

"Come on, leave him alone, you too." Alex said as we were pulled backwards, away from the blushing gray cat.

"I hope you flirts realized that all of us have some adjusting to do." Says Jonathan as he pulled my shirt collar. Well, at least we know who the mothers of this relationship are.

Ace and I nodded as we all sat on the provided couches that Ace had in his home. Time flew by as we started to get to know each other, fixated on the idea of making this poly relationship work. Blake called us over for dinner, which happened to be chicken parmigiana.

Alex and Jonathan were tasked to wake up our lovely human from upstairs. Shortly after doing so, he came down, with a bit of bed head.

All of us sat down at the kitchen table, which surprisingly had enough chairs for all 7 of us. We all ate our dinner, which was amazingly good, thanks to Blake. Upon seeing all of us at one table, Y/N started talking, making all of us quietly look at him.

"Seeing all of us here, eating dinner like this. It's honestly a dream come true. I appreciate you all trying to love each other for my sake, but will it work?"

Upon hearing him say that, Blake and Ethan started to chuckle. Soon enough, everyone started to laugh, except for the confused human.

Ethan then replied the human's questioning look.

"Don't worry, Y/N. Despite your concerns, it'll work. We'll make it work. Right?"

We all nodded our heads. Y/N himself couldn't help but smile too. We continued to eat our dinner before deciding on who is sleeping with who to try and make a bond between some of us. In the end, Y/N was sleeping with Ace and I. Since it seems we both already figured ourselves out.

He slept peacefully after dinner. We tried to sleep ourselves, but I was awaken by Ace's gentle voice.

"I just wanted to say thanks, Ryan. For convincing Y/N into this idea."

I chuckle at his thanks before replying back.

"If anything, I should thank you. You're the one who suggested it." He made a "mm" sound, which I think means he's confirming what I said.

We both tried to fall asleep, but I smirked a bit.

"You know, you were pretty cute with that surprised expression earlier."

He groaned in annoyance before saying a simple "Shut up."

I chuckled before falling asleep, holding Y/N in my arms, while Ace did the same.
