Nino took a deep breath, walking out onto the rooftop. He knows he shouldn't be out here, but....

"You ready to go?" Alya asks him, black spray-on hair dye covering her hair.

He needed to do this.

"Yeah, of course.... What are we doing exactly?" Nino asked, being completely out of costume.

"We're going out. I was tasked to teach you a final lesson by Master Fu, so you'll be joining me tonight. Take a step in my shoes. When we're done, you'll tell me everything you learned from tonight." Lady Mania explained.

"Here's our first stop." Mania said, walking into an abandoned apartment building.

"What are we doing here?" Nino asked, confused.

"Follow." Mania commanded.

He followed her to the roof, giving them a good view of the city.

"Tell me what you see."

He gave a shrug, looking down at Paris.

"Well um.... We've got ice cream, there's fancy lights, people enjoying themselves, no crime.... Am I missing anything?"

Lady Mania took out something from behind her back, wrapping a blindfold around his eyes.

"Good, now tell me what you hear."

Nino focused, Listen.

"I hear cars driving along, I hear music from the movie theaters, and then I hear you." He said.

"Great." She said, moving on.

She lifted his hands, confusing him even further.

"Now tell me what you feel."

Where's she going with this?

"I feel you. The ground we're standing on, and-"

She placed his hand on herself, causing him to blush.

".... I feel your heartbeat."

She removed the blindfold, saying "Great.... Now tell me something, if I were to present you with these two options, what would you chose.... The first, save everyone who you couldn't."

"And the second?" Nino questioned.

She pulled out a gun, aiming at him.

"Get shot for every time you've failed in exchange for this lives of others."

"Oh come on, Alya, you're not seriously gonna.... What am I saying, of course you would." He let out a sigh, before saying "I'd get shot, happy?"

"Not yet."

She shot him several times, Nino falling to the ground. He lifted his head up, seeing the bullets slide off.

"Rubber bullets? Are you kidding me Alya? Ow...."

"Now I'm happy." She said, smiling warmly at him.

"Damn I miss Duusu...." He groaned.

*Where Duusu is*

"I miss my old holder." Duusu whined.

"Silence!" Gabriel demanded.

The little Kwami was giving him a headache, and he was no closer to finding out Furor's identity! The only clue he'd gotten was that he'd been one of the victims of the bomb explosion, and he only found that out because Natalie ordered Duusu to show her where. He doesn't even have a miraculous, and yet he's so much of a pest.

"Duusu," Natalie began. "How do I access the alternate forms that Furor has?"

Duusu giggled, saying "Sorry, but the only way for you to access them is to be super in tune and in control of your emotions. Take Furor's fear state, he can cause whoever he's around to be terrified, but without any control he'd scare himself!"

Gabriel let out a groan, Natalie saying "Well, that explains a few things."

"Of course, it's also the reason why you can't akumatize him." Duusu boasted, before realizing what she just said.

"He what?" Gabriel questioned.

"She just said that Furor can't be akumatized, that narrows down our search to mere hundreds of people!" Natalie exclaims, looking pleased.

"Yes, without the miraculous he'll be easy to defeat now!" Gabriel said, laughing.

"Oh hell no!" Nino said, taking a few steps back.

"Hell yes, we're going!" Lady Mania retorted, grabbing his wrist.

Their second location, Nino's old home.

"Why here of all places?!" Nino demanded.

"To finish our lesson! You've only scratched the surface of being a holder, there's more to it than being a hero and protecting others.... You want to finish this, or will you keep running?"

He let out a sigh, stepping into the building with her. To her surprise, he took her hand. The two went inside, Nino letting out a shaky breath as they went to his old room.

".... What's the point of this, Alya? To show me a little humility?" Nino asked, sitting on what used to be his bed.

"You let yourself grieve, Nino. You adopted a new for because of it. You wanna tell me everything we've done so far?"

"Well, you had me focus on the things I could hear, see, and feel. Then you shot me, that hurt. And now here we are, the place where I truly became Furor. Am I missing anything?" He said, Mania taking a seat next to him.

"No.... I did all this, to show you that you're still human."

This caught Nino off guard. Why wouldn't he think that he's human?

"You've been doing so much as Furor, Master Fu got worried that you forgot what it meant to just be a normal teenager."

She grabbed his hand, dragging him outside before shooting a grappling hook, pulling the two onto the Eifle Tower. Nino steadied himself, Lady Mania looking out towards the city.

"Something I learned from my mentor is this: those who have the wings to fly, should fly. You still have a long road ahead of you, just don't forget where you came from, okay."

She turned around, walking to stand directly in front of him.

"So, being human technically means that there are certain things I can want, right?" Nino asked.

"Yes, why are you asking me that-"

He pulled her into a kiss, silencing the bounty hunter. He released her, noticing her face resemble a tomato.

".... Mania?" He said, waving a hand in from of her face.

She snapped out of her daze, grabbing his hand whilst saying "Oh fuck no!" She gave him a playful glare while saying "I've hunted people far more dangerous than you, and you think a kiss is all I'm going for?"

"Oh." Nino said, getting pulled into another kiss.
