As they waited for the lights to come back. Summer was hugging Sebastian as he made sure nothing will get her. He whispered sweet words in her ears make sure she would stay clam. He knew that they were going to be targeted by the warning that Aaron got in the morning. He knew that they would try to get Summer and Mayra. So in order to make sure they were safe he kept her close at all times. As for Aaron, he held Mayra's hand tightly. It was strong enough to make her feel pain. Knowing full well that this might be what they were waiting for.

"Aaron your hurting my hand."She said while trying to get it free from his tight grip.

"Oh sorry, I just..." He said as he loosens up his grip.

"What's wrong your acting very strange ever since we got in the theater," Mayra said as she looked at the direction his voice came from.

"It's nothing I'm just... scared." He said.

"Scared of what? I know that you don't get scared of the dark that easily. You also know that I don't like it when you hide things from me. One way or another I'll find out what your hiding from me." She said as she smiled even though he can't see her.

"Right sorry the truth is someone is trying to kill not just Summer but you as well. I've been working with someone whos been investigating this as well. We tried to find them before they make a move, but I think this might be their move they're looking for." He said as he heard movement.

"Aaron you know I'm not going to stand there and do nothing. I'll do anything to protect my friends and loved ones. That also includes you I'm willing to die for you." She said reached her hand out and felt his smooth face. He grabs her hand kissed it knowing it was her.

Just as he was about to reach out to touch her face alight came from behind them and a guy screaming in pain. As he fell to the ground a flashlight was turned on.

"You guys alright?" Gaby asked.

"Yeah were fine but who are you?" Mayra asked since she's never met her.

"Her name is Gabriella, Gaby for short,  she's a student here and she has a habit of solving mysteries with her friends. She's also the investigator that is trying to find out who the clowns are. The real question is why are you here?"

"Well, I'll explain why I'm here later. For now, we need to get the light on." Just as she said that the lights came back and they could see it again. It was Joey with the same knife when they chase Gaby and Omar the night before.

"Well then I guess that's one of them but where's the other one," Aaron said as Sebastian handcuff Joey.

"Let me go or suffer the consequences of my family Omar!" Victor yelled as he got caught in a net from the props they had for last year's play.

"Yeah right tell that to the judge," Omar said as the security guards handcuff him as well.

"Does anyone want to explain what in the world is going on?" Mayra asked.

"Well, it's a really long story about a rumor of a killer clown. But to make it short these two are the killer clowns. The other victims were their practice and their real target were you two. Me and Omar came to make sure nothing would happen. We snuck in the dressing rooms and overheard their conversation about getting your heart for his uncle." Gaby said as she showed Mayra the video she took.

"Oh, I see you're the nephew of the guy who tried but failed to kill me again."

"It's all your fault you should have died that day," Victor said. As the guards pulled him up.

"Go ahead blame me but ask yourself this was killing all those people worth it? Was killing innocent people worth destroying your future? Try answering those questions in the same prison as your uncle. Tell him I said hi and I can't wait to play another round of tag." She said as the drag both males away. When they passed Alyssa she was crying but didn't look at them. They felt like they destroyed their chances for a good future.

"Alright Gaby go ahead and say it I know your itching to say it," Omar said as she smiled.

"I think I had enough clowning around." She said with a clown pun.

"Really Gaby?" Omar said as he facepalms.

"I couldn't help it okay I'll be serious this time. This case is now closed." She said as they went to check on Alyssa.

Time skip

After that whole event with the clowns. Mayra went to check out all the essays for all the writers that wanted to be an author. Just as she going to look at the last one she saw it was the girl name Gaby. As she read her essay she could see that she wanted to enjoy every moment with her friends. She could tell that she had something very special. Aaron came out of the bathroom in pajama pants and shirtless.

"Darling you still up?" He asked while walking up to her.

"Put a shirt on Aaron." She said while she finishes reading Gaby's essay.

"Why don't you like seeing my muscles?" He said teasing and showing his muscles to her. Which she wasn't impressed at all.

"Arron stop it or your sleeping on the floor." She said with a warning voice.

"Alright, I'll stop." He said. Next thing she knew she was being hugged by him. Just as she was about to push him off she notices him shaking.

"Aaron you shouldn't be scared I won't leave you or everyone else."

"I know but still I was scared that I was going to lose you forever. Your the most important person in my life and I couldn't even protect you." He began to cry quietly not making any sound.

"Aaron you've protected me every time when I never thought I need to be. Just by holding my hand, I felt happy and safe." She said.

He looked at her with some tears in his eyes. He never liked to cry and especially now that she's in front of him.

"Come on let's go to bed." She said with a soft smile that she rarely shows. He seems surprised by how she can smile.

"It's alright to cry it out you don't have to hold it in anymore." He said as she began to cry in his arm.

'I'll protect her and make sure she doesn't feel scared ever again.' Arron thought as he hugged her closed.
