"Wait, Jin, are you crying?" Namjoon asked in urgency as he walked closer to Jin who was sobbing silently.
Namjoon only went to the men's room because he needed to pee, he was absolutely not expecting to see this heartbreaking picture when he entered.
The older boy hastily wiped his eyes before sniffing one last time, then turned to face Namjoon. His puffy red eyes and tear-stained cheeks brought pain in Namjoon's heart.
"Umm, uh, I just..." Jin struggled.
Namjoon pursed his lips and rapidly moved forward, pulling Jin into his arms once he got near enough. "Damn it, Jin. I know something's going on inside your mind. You don't have to pretend. If you want to cry, then cry all you want."
And there it was, Jin breaking down into fits of sobs and tears as he held unto Namjoon's now wet button-down shirt. The younger boy tightened his hold around Jin's shaking body, burying his nose to the top of Jin's hair and inhaling the older's shampoo as he listened to his sobs.
They stayed like that until Jin slowly calmed down and his sobs decreased. When Namjoon thought that the older boy was already calm enough, he gently kissed Jin's forehead then pulled back a little bit to see the older boy's face.
"Are you okay now?" he asked in a whisper.
Jin nodded, sniffing a little.
Namjoon sighed contentedly, swiped away a strayed lock of Jin's hair before gently raising Jin's head with his hand under his chin to make the crying lad face him. "Should we go back to the office now?"
Again, Jin nodded, and together they walked back to the office. Namjoon brought water for Jin but did not ask any questions, wanting the older to share only when he wanted to. Sooner though, Jin began to speak.
"Sorry for that. I just got...a little overwhelmed."
Namjoon nodded understandingly. "This is about Jimin, isn't it? His flight is already this afternoon."
Nodding sadly, Jin gulped some water before he spoke again. "While I was washing my hands back there in the men's room, I just suddenly realized that Jimin would be far away from me for a long time. This never happened before, you know, Jimin and Jihyun away from me. They're always just there, following me around. I'm not sure if I can..."
Namjoon chose this moment to wrap one arm around Jin's shoulders and pull him closer to him, making the older boy rest his head on Namjoon's waiting shoulder. He could see that Jin was unhappy, but the older always refused to admit it.
"Jihyun is also sad," Jin continued. "He tried pretending to be happy and all because he knew that this is good for his hyung, but I can still see the sadness in his eyes. Aish, even Jimin is sad too, but he's so determined to go that he can't be stopped. We're seriously like a bunch of pathetic idiots in the house. We're all pretending to be happy but really, we're just plainly miserable inside."
Jin drank some more water and Namjoon couldn't help but stare. He couldn't believe how things became like this. It was all so fine before. Namjoon was frustrated because everything was like a math problem that he couldn't solve. But he guessed that maybe, wherever love was involved, nothing would really be solved.
It's all too complicated.
"Come on, Jimin can still visit. It's not like he's required to be there forever," Namjoon said in his efforts to comfort Jin.
"But it will not be the same, Namjoon."
"Well, even if Jimin will be gone, at least there's still this one person who loves you that will remain by your side."
Jin sighed. "Of course I know that. It's not like Jihyun's going away too. I don't think I can take that."
"I was not talking about Jihyun."
In hearing this, Jin's eyebrows rose in confusion. "Then who?"
Namjoon only shrugged. Of course he's not going to tell Jin who. "I don't know."
"You're weird," Jin replied with a scowl, clearly unsatisfied with Namjoon's answer.
"Takes one to know one, dear." And with that, Jin finally smiled, laughed actually.
"Whatever, Namjoon," Jin said after recovering from his laughing fit. "What are we doing here getting all cuddly? You've still got many paperworks to work on Kim Namjoon!"
Namjoon groaned in protest. "I'm already getting comfortable here," he said as he hugged Jin even tighter.
He didn't know if it was just a pigment of his imagination but he did see Jin blush a bit. The blush didn't help though, because soon, Namjoon was being kicked away by teken Jin and forced to do labor.

Yoongi kicked the door to his office open, not caring if others were curiously looking his way. What do they care? He was not in the mood so fuck them all.
As he entered, he forced himself not to automatically look at the now empty space at the right corner of the office where there used to be a desk and a bookshelf. After Jimin cleaned up his stuff, Yoongi ordered the utility to take away the desk and bookshelf, saying that those were just nuisance to his office.
Yoongi sighed as he looked at the time. 4:30 pm. He still had a few hours remaining before he could go home. He seriously wanted to go home now.
Pointedly not looking at the ball pen that Jimin accidentally forgot and was carefully tucked away in Yoongi's pen holder, he spread open the folder that he needed to check.
A second after though, he closed it shut angrily and threw it across the room. Shit, why did the very first page inside that folder had to have Jimin's signature in it? Shit, why did everything just had to remind him about Park Jimin?!
Everything. Just fucking everything.
The couch in his office. The bed in his office. The files in his office. His whole shitting office. The couch in his house. The kitchen in his house. The damned burned pot in his house that somehow was still not thrown away. Even Holly reminded him of Jimin. Shit, even when Yoongi closed his eyes, it's all Jimin.
Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it.
Was he going crazy?
Maybe.
Did he care?
No.
Min Yoongi didn't give a single shit, even to his very own sanity.
But seriously, why couldn't his thoughts of Jimin just fuck themselves? Yoongi was doing nothing to them. He was doing nothing to them. And yet, they always went and haunt him every single shitassed second that passed in his miserably miserable life. Wow. Just wow.
It made him think that maybe firing Jimin was too far, that maybe his reason behind doing so was too childish, that maybe letting his emotions and—very much denied—jealousy intervene with his professionalism was a wrong move.
Shit. Maybe Yoongi was starting to regret everything.
The boy groaned loudly and bumped his head on his table hard. It hurt, but it's fine, he's getting used to being hurt now anyway.
The point there was, he had really no choice. He had done it already and he was absolutely not going to run after Jimin just to beg him to come back. Absolutely no. Especially now when Jimin himself was the one to admit that he'd really rather be Shin shitfaced Daesuk's secretary. Because he's what? More mature? More fucking friendly? Uggh.
Okay, so it did sound a bit like Yoongi was sulking. And maybe he really was. Everywhere he went, they would all look away in fear and give him a wide birth. Well, probably because his sulking face looked murderous.
It was just that...everything was so damn confusing. He thought everything was alright. Then it suddenly took a full 360 degrees turn and Jimin went all cold. Then he's always with that Daesuk guy. Yoongi hated it especially whenever Jimin would barely smile at his direction but he would freely laugh whenever Daesuk was around. What had Yoongi done for him to deserve this? Was Daesuk far better than him? Even if that's true though, he didn't need it to be slapped right across his face. And he absolutely didn't need to see Daesuk on top of Jimin in his own fucking office.
In the midst of Yoongi's trance, someone knocked at the door.
The boy scowled. He planned to give this damn visitor the scariest resting bitch face in the universe. Or maybe, if he's really in the mood, he'd stab them with his very expensive and rare fountain pen like he had done once.
Kidding, those were just rumours, but Yoongi enjoyed having that image all the same.
The knocking came again, and this time, louder and more impatient. For a second there, Yoongi almost imagined Jimin sighing and standing up to open the door. But there's no Jimin anymore.
Still, Yoongi would not stand up, lazy or not. So, he just shouted instead, "Come in!"
The door bursted opened and revealed a haggard looking Daesuk. Okay, so maybe the rumours were about to come true now.
Yoongi just graced him with one raised, very questioning and judgmental eyebrow.
The said boy panted heavily before walking inside the office and closing the door shut again. He did not wait for Yoongi to let him sit, he had seated himself to one of the comfy armchairs adjacent Yoongi's desk. This just made Yoongi's eyebrow rise higher.
"Mr. Min, you need to know something important about Jimin-"
"I only intend to talk with you about work matters, Mr. Shin," Yoongi cut him off effectively.
Daesuk groaned in frustration. "But Mr. Min, this is really important. We've got no tim-"
"I'm not interested. You can leave now," Yoongi said coldly.
"Please, Mr. Min, Yoongi, you've got to listen to me."
Yoongi absolutely did not want to listen. Especially if it came from him. Anyone but him.
"Mr. Min-"
"Are you here to rub to my face that Jimin is already yours? Well fuck, are you here to announce that he's already your boyfriend? Then go ahead, Mr. Shin, do as you fucking please. I'm so done with all this bullshit in my life." And there it was, Yoongi spilling all the things he was not supposed to spill. He was just so angry that he couldn't come to care about manners. He knew that he shouldn't be blaming this boy and he also knew that he should stay professional. He all knew it but he barely gave a shit anymore.
"What are you-..." Daesuk said with utter confusion. "Mr. Min, it's not-"
"It's not what? It's not true? Is that why I always see you together? Is that why I fucking caught you doing who-knows-what here in my very own office?!" Yoongi spat.
Daesuk sighed. "No... I don't think you understand a single thing at all."
"So...I'm just wondering if you, would umm, want to be my boyfriend?" Daesuk asked shyly.
"Uh, b-boyfriend?"
"I know this may be a bit too fast for you but, umm, I can give you time if you want."
"I... I'm so sorry but...I don't think I can return your feelings, Daesuk..." Jimin said, his eyes casted down.
"O-oh..."
"B-but believe me, it has nothing to do with you. You're a great person, Daesuk. I think I'm just not...ready yet. You deserve someone better," Jimin added hastily.
Daesuk gave him a smile. He understood. He was already expecting this actually.
"It's fine, really. I just tried. You are amazing, Jimin, and maybe I did already have an interest the first time I saw you. This was just a silly little crush anyway. I guess I just have to live by with the fact that my cute crush rejected me," he said, laughing a little. And it was not even fake, he honestly felt silly about himself.
Jimin nodded and smiled weakly at him. There was a few seconds of silence before Daesuk broke it.
"This is because of Min Yoongi, isn't it?"
Jimin blinked, surprised. "What are you-"
"Come on, everybody in the office knew about you two. Do you even see yourselves when you're together? Do you even know how you gaze at each other when you think the other one isn't looking? Jimin, the whole company ships you two."
The spread of red tint was evident on Jimin's face. "R-really?"
"Yes, really. I was really shocked when I heard you got fired. What happened?"
The only response he got was Jimin looking away from him.
"I won't force you to tell me, okay? But Jimin, look at me in the eyes and tell me I'm wrong. You're in love with Min Yoongi, aren't you?"
Jimin heaved a deep, deep sigh. "I guess I am, Daesuk, I am..."
"You're not in the position to tell me what I don't understand, Mr. Shin," Yoongi bit back, now scowling darker. "This talk is nonsense and-"
"Jimin is leaving."
"What?"
What?
"Jimin is leaving for America. Now. TODAY. Damn it, right at this very hour."
Yoongi couldn't seem to find his voice for a while there. "You're lying. Jin would have told me."
Because of course, somebody would've told him.
"I don't know! I was told not to tell you, maybe they were, too. But you have to listen, Mr. Min. Or else...you'll lose him."
And that did it.
Yoongi wasn't even aware that he was standing so fast his chair toppled over. He quickly fished out his phone as he walked, no, run, towards the door. As he was running, Daesuk was shouting after him, telling him what's the name of the airport and all.
Yoongi ran.
As fast as he could.
It was his first time to run this fast, but it's fine. It's fine, if it would mean a chance on not losing Jimin, his Jimin.
He guessed that he was wrong after all. Despite being so determined not to do it, he had somehow ended up literally running after him and yes, was just about to beg Park Jimin to come back.
To come back to him.
