Jin pursed his lips as Hoseok, Namjoon, Jungkook and Taehyung stared expectantly at him.
"As you have all known, Yoongi has fired Jimin yesterday."
Everybody nodded silently, face a perfect picture of misery.
"And I'm pretty you're all expecting me to tell you the reason behind that since I'm the older brother of one of the on persons concerned."
They all nodded again.
"Actually, I still don't know anything at all."
Everyone groaned.
Taehyung scowled. "But hyung, you've been telling us that you know nothing! Are you really Jimin's brother? What are you even doing the whole time? You're supposed to spy at Jimin for us!"
Hearing this, Jin clicked his tongue disapprovingly. What an attitude. Tsk, kids nowadays.
Jungkook obediently raised his hand an asked, "Then why did you call us to a meeting then?"
Jin was back to his serious mode. "You won't believe it."
"We will. Now spill it out," Hoseok said impatiently. Jin glared at him threateningly, because really, what's with these kids nowadays!
"Come on guys," chastised Namjoon. "Just let Jin have his drama. Believe me, it's easier that way." Namjoon flashed a smile at Jin before gesturing for the others to turn back to the eldest.
Jin then finally spoke.
"Jimin decided to accept the scholarship. He's flying to New York next week."
There was silence for a few seconds before Taehyung and Hoseok started to gasp wildly, mouths hanging so big a bowling ball could fit in. Jungkook's eyes were wide in disbelief and Namjoon was frowning deeply.
Jin sighed.
"I know. It's like some cheesy romantic movie that has a sad ending. I don't even understand why this is happening," Jin miserably said.
Taehyung looked like he was about to cry. "Why didn't he tell me? I thought he loved me! We are twins for dear's sake! Why, Jimin, WHY?!"
"He did not want to tell you guys because he knew that you would stop him. But seriously, you're bound to know anyway. I'm betting that tonight Jihyun will call Jungkook and Taehyung, asking you two to keep it a secret."
Jungkook nodded solemnly, knowing that Jin was very right.
Taehyung pouted. Then after some time, he stood up, eyes blazing with determination. "I'm. Not. Having. Any. Of. THIS. KIM TAETAE IS NOW OFFICIALLY SAD."
The boy then stood up from his chair and laid on the floor face first, planking.
"I'm gonna stay like this until Yoongi-hyung and Jiminie make up. Kookie, please take care of my cactus in case something happens to me. Chaktush the cactus loves fashion. You should dress him with different outfits everyday," Taehyung said to the floor, voice muffle by the hard wood.
Everybody sighed, especially Jungkook who went to sit beside his lying boyfriend. Somehow, all of them already expected Taehyung to be like this.
"I think it's best to tell Yoongi about this," Namjoon finally spoke, his deep voice echoing around the walls and making everyone turn to him. Except Taehyung, of course.
"Don't!" Jin piped up.
Jungkook frowned at this. "Why not? I think Yoongi-hyung deserves to know. I mean, even me, I'm actually quite disappointed that Jimin-hyung did not tell me anything about this. I thought I was like family already."
Okay, so the kid was being dramatic, but Jin understood, he really did. He was pretty sure that if Jungkook was not close to Taehyung and Yoongi, Jimin would've told Jungkook too.
"You don't understand me. Yoongi would know soon but I don't think it's the right time," Jin said with his arms crossed while walking back and forth. All their eyes were following him, except for Tae. "If I would use my psychiatrist skills, I could fathom that there's something bothering my Jiminie. He's the one who had suddenly changed, right? Just think of it, if Yoongi would know and he would try to stop Jimin, would Jimin let him? Would he, especially if the main reason why he's leaving was because of Yoongi, himself?"
Namjoon nodded at Jin and flashed him a dimpled smile. The older boy smiled back sweetly. "Jin is right. But what do we do now?"
Jungkook sighed. "Maybe we should actually think of something to do instead of looking at you being so biased towards Jin-hyung," Jungkook stubbornly said, referring to Namjoon.
Namjoon's mouth went wide open because well, Jungkook had never been like this. It sounded a bit disrespectful.
"Jungkook!" Jin chastised with pursed lips. "Please be reminded of your manners."
The youngest only crossed his arms sulkily and shifted closer to Taehyung's still planking form. "Well, what am I supposed to do? My hyung is going to America without even telling me and my boyfriend is planking with the possibility of staying like that forever, and all you're doing there is lowkey flirting!"
"W-we're not flirting!" Namjoon defended.
Jungkook glared at him like how a five year old would glare at someone who stole his lolli.
"Kookie..." Jin sighed. "I understand you, okay? But please, you know that Jin-hyung is good at these things right? You know that I never get wrong on my decisions, right?"
The younger boy looked away and remained silent. Jungkook was not the type of person who would pout, but his sulking face made him look like he was doing that. It was honestly cute.
Jin coughed awkwardly after a few moments of silence. "So umm... Do you have anything to say, Hoseok? You've been quiet the whole time."
The boy's eyes blinked upon hearing his name. "Umm..." And suddenly, he stood up in haste. "I'm leaving now. I've got an important thing to do."
"Wait, Hoseok-" Namjoon called after him, but he was already banging the door close in his hurry. They all stared after his retreating back in wonder.
"What just happened?" Jin asked in the midst of silence.
"He probably couldn't take your stupid flirting," Jungkook commented sulkily, which received a glare from Jin. The youngest only shrugged it off, before speaking again.
"Can somebody help me convince Taetae to stop planking?"

"How did you know I live here?" was Sehee's first words when she opened the door and saw Hoseok.
Hoseok stared at her. He should've known that she was here. He could've stop making everything worse.
He had tried to look for her when he found out what happened to Yoongi and Jimin the other day, but he was not able to find her. He knew Sehee had something to do with it. He's very sure, damn sure.
"I didn't know, I just tried. Looks like you still can't forget about this place after all," Hoseok replied.
Sehee rolled her eyes. "So maybe I missed my old apartment, but that's all. Why are you here?"
Her voice was crisp and demanding, as if everyone else was below her. Hoseok felt his heart constrict. She was not like this. Who was this person in front of him? It couldn't be Sehee, it just couldn't be...
"Can I get inside?" Hoseok said in an equally cold tone, nodding his head to indicate the inside of the house.
Sehee pursed her lips, looking conflicted. A few seconds of silence later, she opened the door a bit wider for Hoseok to come in.
Once Hoseok was inside, the boy did not waste any more time and faced Sehee with glaring eyes. "What are you doing? Why are you doing this?"
The girl only widened her eyes, feigning innocence. Hoseok wouldn't be fooled.
"Doing what?"
"You think I don't know? That time when I saw you talking to Jimin, what did you tell him?"
"I already told you. He's-"
"Stop lying!" Hoseok could barely keep himself from shouting. He was furious. He didn't understand why Sehee was doing this. She's not like this. "Jimin had been acting weirdly ever since that time. And I know, Sehee, I know that you had something to do with it."
Sehee scoffed. "I just told him that I'm Yoongi's fiance and that he better back off. It's hard enough to convince that stupid Min Yoongi jerk. Jimin is just making everything a whole lot harder. He-"
"But why?" And Hoseok's voice was now of desperation. He felt his eyes stinging but he's not gonna cry, not in front of this person that he now barely knew.
"Why?" Sehee repeated with her eyebrows raised.
"Why, Sehee? They're living peacefully, damn it, happily. They were fine. Why did you have to do that? Can't you just find some other man-"
"Hoseokie," came Sehee's sweet voice which startled Hoseok and made him shut up. "My parents think that it's good for me to marry Yoongi. I'm just being a good girl, doing what my parents want. You, of all people, should be the one to understand me. As I have remembered, you're also keen on being a good son, right?" The last sentence was filled with venom. And it was then that it hit Hoseok.
"So this is revenge? You came back to have your revenge on me? Is that it, Sehee?"
Sehee snorted. "I don't know what you're talking about, Hoseok. You must be hallucinating. You aren't taking drugs, are you?"
The boy closed his eyes, stressed with all that's happening. So this was why. Shit.
He rubbed his face frustratedly before looking at Sehee again. "If you want to take revenge, then do it to me. To me only, Sehee, please. You didn't have to drag Jimin and Yoongi into this. It's our past, our problem, they've got nothing to do with it. They...they love each other. Don't you see it?"
"I do," was Sehee's simple answer. "I do, Hoseok, I really do. I know it when a person loves someone sincerely. I fucking know it very well. And I also know when a person's heart breaks into pieces like a shattered vase. I fucking know so don't lecture me."
There was silence between them. Hoseok could see it, the softness hidden behind those cold eyes. After all these years, Hoseok could still read her like the back of his hand. Her right thumb was twitching, which meant that she wanted to cry but was stopping herself from doing so.
But this was not Sehee. This was not the Sehee that he knew anymore. Sehee, with her warm smiles and joyous laughs, wouldn't break other's hearts and tear them apart. Sehee never even swore.
But...
"You've changed..." Hoseok found himself whispering.
Sehee smiled at this. "People do."
With a sigh, she walked towards the door and opened it. "I think you should go now before I call the security."

Jimin carried the last box that contained his remaining belongings to the living room. He's still not sure what to bring, but if you're staying abroad for four years or so, you probably should bring quite a lot, right?
He decided on bringing two luggages only. The rest would just be sent by his Jin-hyung to him when he arrived there in America.
With his hands on his hips, the boy scanned everything. Their living room was now filled with boxes and open luggages that were mounted with his clothes. He still need to sort through it because they're too many. He could barely close his luggages.
It was also eerily quiet as Jimin heaved a sigh. The house felt lonely because his Jin-hyung was at work and Jihyun was in school. His eyes landed on the expensive tuxedo that Yoongi bought for him.
Jimin looked away.
He had been trying hard not to think anywhere near that topic. Actually, Jimin would rather not think of anything. He had successfully emptied his mind, he couldn't let it haunt him again right now.
While staring intently at the face of spongebob on the tv so that his mind wouldn't stray towards his ex-boss, the doorbell suddenly rang. Jimin's head whipped towards the direction of the door.
He walked steadily, his heart beating wildly. Who could it be? Of course, he's not at all expecting that it would be Yoongi. His hyung would not come here.
He wouldn't.
But even if how hard he tried not to expect, his heart was still yearning, hoping that it was him. Jimin opened the door.
It was not Yoongi.
"Oh hey," Jimin greeted with a weak smile at the person in front of him.
"Hey," Daesuk greeted back. "I just, uh, visited because I heard that you were fired. How are you doing?"
Jimin gave him a small smile and opened the door wider to let Daesuk in. "Do you want coffee or something?" Jimin asked once Daesuk stepped inside.
"Coffee would be fine, thanks."
Jimin nodded and immediately went to the kitchen to make some, making Daesuk sit on the couch. When Jimin returned with the promised coffee, he saw Daesuk looking around with wonder.
"Umm...are you guys moving out or something?" he asked.
Jimin sighed. He guessed that maybe he should tell Daesuk. This was inevitable, Jimin knew. Sooner, the others would know. And sooner, maybe Yoongi would, too.
"I'm leaving for America," Jimin answered simply.
Daesuk's eyes widened in surprise. "Y-you're what? Seriously, Jimin?"
Jimin nodded gravely. "I got accepted to a scholarship in a university in New York. It's a perfect opportunity so I'm grabbing it."
Daesuk nodded as Jimin sat across him, placing the tray he's holding on the coffee table.
"That's great. Maybe you should continue in your studies rather than work," commented Daesuk. Jimin wanted to sigh. Yes, he wanted to pursue his studies. But if he would be honest to himself, he's already happy here. Or rather, used to be happy here.
"Just please uh, don't tell Mr. Min," Jimin said, in which Daesuk nodded uncertainly.
There was an awkward pause as Jimin sipped carefully from his own coffee. Daesuk was staring at him intently and it's making Jimin uncomfortable.
"Uh, so you'll be away for good?"
"About four years or so."
"I see..."
There it was again, that weird look. There were a few times before when Jimin caught Daesuk gazing at him like that, and it never failed to make Jimin fidget. He did not exactly enjoy that much attention from him.
"Uh, Jimin?"
"Hmm?"
Daesuk scratched the back of his head. "I hope you'll not find this weird but...uh, since you're leaving, I think this is possibly the last chance I'll get."
Jimin's eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the other boy's words. He didn't know where this was heading.
"I know that we don't know each other that long yet and uh, we're not that close yet. But you've been a really good friend and I think that you are a...very very attractive person. So...I'm just wondering if you, would umm, want to be my boyfriend?"
Want to be...his boyfriend?
====================
I'm so sorry for the late update... I tried *cried popcorn*. It's not really my work that's hindering, it's my addiction to sleep. I always sleep, ending up having nothing to do. :(
