"Okay, so what in the name of shit is happening here," Taehyung announced, banging his hand unto the desk.

Namjoon, the owner of the said desk, glared at him. "Jin and Jungkook should be the one to answer that."

Jungkook's big eyes blinked. "I don't know anything about it! Jimin-hyung did not say anything to me!"

Everybody turned to Jin.

"What?" the boy asked, sounding defensive. "I know there's something wrong, but Jimin haven't said anything to me either. I'm not the kind of person who asks. I just wait for them to tell me what's wrong. It's Jihyun who does the forcing in our family."

Namjoon sighed and worried his lip before speaking.

"Yoongi is really confused, and a bit angry too. I can't blame him though. Jimin just suddenly went all moody, and it's been a week already," the CEO said.

Jin glared at him. "Are you trying to say that this is all my Jiminie's fault?"

"He's the one who suddenly went from hot to cold," Namjoon returned.

"Then Yoongi must have done something, I'm sure. I mean, it's not like he's such a good person."

It was Namjoon's turn to glare. "Yoongi-hyung may be grumpy at times, but he's not a bad person."

His secretary narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, preparing to fire a herd of dangerous sass.

"Listen, Kim Namjoon-"

"Hyung! Will you two please stop arguing?!" Jungkook interrupted with a loud sigh.

Taehyung pouted in support to his boyfriend and back-hugged him, placing his head on the other boy's shoulder. Looking at the two made Jin guilty because they were the younger ones and yet they seem to be more mature.

"It's not helping," Taehyung added.

Namjoon and Jin glanced at each other before looking away and sighing in unison.

"Seriously, what is happening with these two?" Namjoon spoke up after a few moments of silence. He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "They were kissing in the party just last week!"

Jin turned his eyes at him. "Look Namjoon, I'm so sorry for all the things I said about Yoongi. I'm also confused. One thing's for sure, though. Jimin is also sad. I can see it in his eyes even though he always forced a smile."

Namjoon smiled his way, accepting the apology silently. Jin smiled back, and just like that, they locked eyes and continued smiling at each other as if Jungkook and Taehyung did not exist. Both boys were scowling at them. They did want to be Mr. Third Wheel and Mr. Fourth Wheel.

Namjoon knocking off the stapler on his desk was what ruined the moment.

And before any awkwardness would occur between the two old people, Jungkook spoke up.

"Maybe there's something that Jimin is not telling us."

Taehyung nodded. "And maybe there's also something that Yoongi is not telling us."

Jin seemed to be in thought upon hearing this. The situation really bothered him. Jimin was not good at keeping things from him and his dongsaeng would always tell him if there was something wrong. This time though, Jimin did not.

Maybe Jihyun knew?

He chose to share the thought to everyone. "Guys, do you think Jihyun-"

"Waaaah!" Namjoon screamed, misery and regret evident in his voice. "My stapler broke! I thought it just fell! But it broke! WHY?!"

"Isn't that your fifth one this month?" Taehyung asked.

Jin sighed. "No, it's already the seventh. I guess I'll have to get a new one again. I haven't even ordered a new telephone yet. His old one got broken for unknown reasons."

Should he review his speech first? Or should he send the email Namjoon was asking for? Maybe he should follow up the monthly report of the company's finances?

Ugh.

He did not know what to do first. Yoongi was normally not like this. He always had things in order and set before him. Everything was laid out perfectly and he always knew what to do and when to act.

Not now, though.

He's just confused.

He's confused and hurt and...well, he's still debating if he should be angry or worried about the situation.

The point was, it's getting into him. It's affecting his work. It's making him insane. And probably days from now, maybe tomorrow even, he would end up checking himself to a mental facility.

Yoongi hated this.

Being hurt because of such a pathetic reason like his cute secretary ignoring him was one thing, the situation affecting his work was another.

It wasn't supposed to affect his work.

It wasn't supposed to affect him.

It's all too pathetic.

He's utterly fucked up.

"Hyung, your meeting will start within fifteen minutes. I advise you to go ahead in the conference room before the visitors would arrive."

It was Jimin who spoke, standing in front of Yoongi in a very damn shit formal manner that Yoongi did not want nor need.

"Alright," the older replied monotonously, but not coldly. He did not dare look at Jimin's eyes because he knew that all he would see there was nothing.

No cheeky smile, no crescent moon eyes, no sweet voice. Just Jimin and his annoying as shit formal manner.

He stood up and followed Jimin as they walked towards the door. Yoongi was forced to look at the boy's back and his mop of hair. He's not sure until when he could take this.

Holly missed Jimin.

Yoongi did, too.

Out of pure impulse, Yoongi reached out and grabbed the other boy's hand, pulling him and turning him to face Yoongi.

There was silence for a few seconds.

Then Jimin pulled back his hand as if burned.

He would not even hold my hand anymore.

"What is this? Tell me Jimin, what the heck is this? Don't you even dare deny that you're ignoring me because it's painfully obvious as fuck. Have I done something wrong? If I did, will you just please tell me so that I can do something about it? I don't... I don't understand anything anymore! Why are you doing this to me?" Yoongi all breathed out. He felt his heart tightened and his hands were curled up into fists.

Jimin looked away.

Yoongi was not even surprised at the reaction anymore.

"It's better this way," the younger boy said, voice so soft that Yoongi almost strained to hear.

"What do you mean?"

And with a louder voice, Jimin answered him. "I'd prefer if we would just maintain a professional relationship, Mr. Min."

"But-"

"I want to make it clear that I'm not interested in you. All of those...things that we did were just nuisance to me. Your meeting is about to start. We have to head there now."

And with that, Jimin walked out the door.

And probably walked out of Yoongi's life as well.

"Hyung! There's a mail sent for you!" were the first words that Jimin heard when he went home that day.

Jihyun came running down the stairs and handed Jimin a sealed white envelope.

"What is this?"

Jihyun shrugged. "Dunno. But it's for you."

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows as he eyed the suspicious envelope. He flipped it over and it said 'New York University of Performing Arts'.

What could this be?

Should he open this? Was this really for him? But his name was written on it, so maybe it really was for him.

"Hyung, open it!" Jihyun exclaimed as he jumped on Jimin's back.

The older boy groaned in protest but still held out one hand securely under Jihyun's knee. His younger brother continued to ride piggy back on him as he uneasily opened the envelope using his one hand with the help of Jihyun's two annoying hands.

When he was able to open it successfully, he unfolded the paper inside it. It looked like some kind of formal letter. Did Jimin accidentally offended anyone and now they were suing him? The thought was silly but the letter did honestly look like the ones that informed you that you need to attend the court.

Hopefully, it was not.

Jihyun held tighter on him and they both read what was in the letter silently, only their eyes were moving. Jimin was now even more confused when he finally finished reading the letter.

"It says you got accepted at the university. I didn't know you applied to one? Should we celebrate or something?" Jihyun spoke up, looking just as confused as Jimin.

"I'm pretty sure I didn't apply to any university, much less one that's in New York."

Jihyun gasped. "Could this be a scam, hyung?"

The older boy only shrugged. Just as he was about to tell Jihyun that it really might be, the door swung open.

"Move your asses because the queen has arrived," Jin announced like he usually would as he entered the house.

He smiled at the two.

"It's nice to see that you two are standing in the middle of the room while the other is piggyback-riding the older one. Should I add to the description that your faces look so stupidly confused and at the same time amused?"

Jihyun's 'stupidly confused and at the same time amused' face turned into a genuinely smiling one. He hopped down Jimin and ran to Jin, hugging him tight.

"Hyung!" the youngest said with a laugh. "The confused face was for the letter. The amused one was for your handsome face."

Now it was Jin's turn to look confused. "Letter?"

Jimin waved the letter he was holding. "This arrived earlier and it says that I got accepted at some university in New York. It's just probably a scam."

Upon hearing this, Jin's eyes widened and he gasped loudly. Okay, so what was happening to his hyung?

"You got accepted?" were the words that came out of Jin's mouth as he rushed towards Jimin. He grabbed the letter and read it over.

Jimin's eyebrows furrowed and his lips pursed tightly. It looked like his hyung had something to do with this.

"Do you know anything about this, hyung?"

Jin looked up, a silly smile plastered on his lips. "Remember that time when I asked you to record yourself dancing? I actually applied you for this scholarship last year after you graduate. I did not tell you anything because I did want to get your hopes up even though I'm pretty sure you'll pass anyway. And you really did!"

Jimin blinked. His mind seemed to be slow in processing everything.

"I almost forgot about this," Jin added, looking at the letter once again.

"So it's not scam?" Jihyun inserted as he peered over Jin's shoulder, giving the letter a suspecting look.

"Of course not, silly. Look, it has the official seal of the university."

"So hyung, what does that mean?" Jimin asked.

His hyung scratched the back of his neck. "If you want to pursue this, then you'll have to fly to New York. Everything is free including the flight and dorm, you just have to worry about food."

"Wait," Jihyun spoke up, "how long will hyung be at New York?"

This time, Jin's face showed uneasiness. "Until...he finishes his course. Four years I guess."

Jihyun pouted. "But...that's too long." He seemed to change his mind after a beat, though. "But it will be good for Jiminie-hyung, so I'm fine with it. Wait...how about Yoongi-hyung? You'll have to leave him. Is my ship gonna turn into Titanic? How effective are long-distance relationships? Should I be worried? Can I endure the pain of having my ship destroyed? Had somebody already gone insane because of this? What if tomorrow never comes? Who am I even? What is life? Why is the earth rou-"

He was effectively cut off by a worried Jimin who covered Jihyun's mouth with his hands.

Jimin and Jin sighed.

You see, Jihyun was like the combination of Jimin's pathetic side and Jin's dramatic shit. Yep. He's the youngest after all.

"Jihyun. There is nothing going on between me and Yoongi, okay?" Jimin said, earning a questioning glance from Jin. "And anyway, I'm still not gonna accept this offer. I already have a stable job and I think I'd rather stay here."

Jihyun nodded, but his mouth was still covered, so he tried to bite Jimin's hand.

Jimin was fast enough to retract his poor hand.

==================
IMPORTANT : The end is about to draw near, sunshines. Does it seem a bit too fast? I'm really sorry~ But you see, this fic is supposedly just a 'spin-off' from #ymir talking about the kdrama that they were having. I've got like, hundreds of other yoonmin ideas that I need to write (and like millions of oneshot but heck, I'm so busy I can't even fart). So yeah, it's about to end soon. :)

Anyway, I already started with my next fic. Still Yoonmin of course. This ship is life. It's kind of on the agent-au side and all that.

P. S. Don't forget to smile and have a nice day!
