Park Jimin was just a simple young peasant with a simple life. He's living in a humble hut, in a village that was but a dot inside the huge kingdom of South Korea.
Well, okay, that was a bit dramatic.
And Jimin was pretty sure that was how his dramatic brother, Jin, would have described him.
Yes, he's living a simple life, but no, he's definitely not living inside a hut that belongs to a village that was apparently 'but a dot inside the huge kingdom of South Korea'.
Anyway, as he had said, he was just a simple person. And by simple, that also included being not-so-rich, not that Jimin was ashamed of being poor, because he was not.
He was more than happy of his life, even though it's not exactly easy to live.
Jimin's younger brother, Jihyun, was just five years old when their parents died in a car accident. Since their parents had eloped, they had nowhere to go. They were lucky enough that their neighbor was kind enough to adopt them.
And that was how they became a family together with Jin-hyung, because it was Jin-hyung's grandma who adopted them.
Ever since then, the three of them had become brothers. As Jin had said, the most handsome brothers in the world.
"Hyung! You're daydreaming again," Jihyun said as he sat beside Jimin on the sofa.
Jimin blinked.
Oh yeah, he's daydreaming again.
"Am not," Jimin denied.
The two stared at each other for awhile, then slowly, they both smiled. The room had lit up with all the eyesmiles radiating from the two.
"Jimin-ah! Jihyun-ah!" they both heard Jin's voice.
"Here hyung!" they answered in unison, laughing at each other when they realized that they said the same thing.
Seconds later, Jin appeared on the doorway, face painted with clear irritation.
"Did something happen, hyung?" Jihyun asked.
Jin huffed and sat on the couch, grabbing a pillow and hugging it.
"When I was heading to my interview, I bumped into this really rude guy. Aish! I hate him! I hope he just went there for a meeting or something because if he works in that company and I happen to get accepted on the job, I can't imagine seeing him everyday," Jin ranted.
Jimin chuckled. "Don't worry hyung. That company is too big for you two to meet again."
"I just really hope so, because I really need to get this job. I want Jihyun's education to be properly supported and I want him to attend a nice university. You won't be able to do that if we don't have enough money," Jin said, face all serious.
Jimin heard Jihyun sigh.
"Hyung... I told you already, I don't need to attend any prestigious school. Hyung, I think it should be better if I would find a part time job and-"
"Jihyun," Jin interrupted him. "Jimin and I only want the best for you, hear that? I will become an attractive secretary in a successful company, Jimin will become a successful professional dancer, and you will be an architect. Jin, Jimin and Jihyun will conquer the world and we will all die handsome, you two understand that?"
Jimin and Jihyun both smiled, their eyes turning into crescent moons.
"Yes, hyung," Jimin said with a chuckle.
Jihyun cleared his throat. "Umm...Jin-hyung? I have a question though..."
Jin smiled warmly at him. "What is it, Hyunnie?"
Jihyun gave a cheeky smile. "That guy you bumped into... Is he handsome?"
Jin covered his face with his hands.
"Seriously, Park Jihyun!" Jin scolded heartily.
Jimin just shook his head in amusement at this two important people in their lives.
"Whatever, you two. I have to leave now to buy some groceries. Jin-hyung, take some rest. And you, Park Jihyun, stay put and behave."

Min Yoongi, on the other hand, was a rich young man who had everything. He's so rich that he did nothing sleep, wake up for awhile, then sleep again.
Yup, that's Yoongi.
"Hyung!"
There was a voice, but Yoongi chose to ignore it.
"Hyung!!"
Uggh, so annoying.
"Yoongi-hyung!"
The voice was familiar, but Yoongi did not care.
"Yoo- What the heck? You're sleeping again? But you had just taken a nap a few hours ago!" the voice complained, but of course, Yoongi barely cared.
Moments later, Yoongi felt someone tugging his sleeping form.
Ugghh...why is my life like this?
He was forced to crack one eye open, as the intruder was really annoying. When he did so, he saw the face of Namjoon.
"Damn it, Joonie."
"Well, same to you bro. The meeting will start in less than fifteen minutes and here you are."
Yoongi waved his hand in dismissal. "I don't really see why I should care."
Namjoon sighed. "You're not yet fully awake, are you?"
And with that, he was being harshly pulled from the bed of his office. Yes, people, there's a bed in Yoongi's office.
The force of Namjoon's pull cleared Yoongi's fuzzy-from-sleep mind, and it was then that he realized...
Yeah, we do have a meeting...
"Come on, lazy monster. I'm paying you to work, not to sleep," Namjoon said jokingly.
Yoongi finally woke up fully, staggering to stand properly as he squinted his eyes to get a good look at Namjoon.
"I'm your best friend. I can do whatever I want," he complained sleepily.
Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, right. Whatever. Come on, Yoongi, you are needed in the Directors' Meeting.
"Namjoon, you're the CEO of Seonchul. Can't you just tell them that the Finance Department Head is sick or something. They'll believe you."
Namjoon merely shook his head in amusement and went on dragging Yoongi to the conference room.
Yoongi followed bitterly, realizing he had no choice. Once they arrived, they immediately took their seats.
Namjoon leaned towards him and whispered, "You know what, I just realized something. You better get a boyfriend who'll keep you awake, especially on meetings."
Yoongi elbowed him harshly.

After the meeting, Yoongi immediately went to his office.
He sighed as he picked an apple from his small round table, took a bite, and went to stand in front of the large glass window in his office that overlooked a busy street.
From the distance, Yoongi noticed a short man struggling to carry his grocery goods. The man had strange gray hair and for some odd reason, he was reminded of rice cake.
That thought was very odd indeed.
He couldn't really see the man's face from this far, and so, as Yoongi was about to try to look more closely, Namjoon suddenly barged in, not caring to knock.
Yoongi turned to him as he took another bite of his apple.
Namjoon looked furious as he poured himself a glass of water. His best friend was the type of person that was usually calm and good-natured. But this kind of mood though, it's very rare.
Yoongi wondered what happened.
And he also wondered why his friend got a large black eye on his right eye.
"Should I ask?"
Namjoon glared at nothing in particular.
"I... I bumped into this certain man and... Ah! It's really annoying me!" Namjoon ranted and Yoongi tried to stop himself from rolling his eyes at how childish his friend was being.
"What does he look like?" Yoongi asked, not really interested, but only for lack of anything better to say.
"Well..." Namjoon seemed to struggle with words.
Yoongi raised one questioning eyebrow because it was rare for Namjoon to struggle with words.
"Well... He was good-looking. Beautiful, actually. But just really really annoying. He was the one who bumped into me and yet he was blaming me about the whole deal. And he even punched me, Yoongi! He punched me! In the face! In my own company! And he just left after that! I mean- what the heck?"
Yoongi snorted. "Romantic stories always start with things like that."
Namjoon scowled at him. "I'll be damned if I'll ever like him. He's a monster. Tsk tsk, it's even hard to believe that he's human."
Yoongi now rolled his eyes.
"And also, it's you who needed a romantic story. You seriously need a boyfriend now, or else you'll be sleeping your entire life. Literally," Namjoon added.
"I don't need a boyfriend, I'm already contented with my Holly," Yoongi said in response.
"I've known you for years, Yoongi. And although you don't make it obvious, I know that you're into the cute genre."
Yoongi raised a scrutinizing eyebrow. "What kind of cute exactly are you talking about?"
Namjoon shrugged. "I don't know. Cute like...rice cake? I mean, rice cakes are cute right? You should probably find someone who looks like it," he said with a laugh.
Yoongi just ignored him and turned back to the window, now reminded of that guy he was observing awhile ago.
He did not see him anymore. He had probably rode the bus already.
"What's with that serious look, hyung?" Namjoon asked him.
Yoongi yawned.
"Nah, just sleepy."
================
I'm just making up all this company shit. Lol, is there even a Finance Department something? I'm really sorry about this guys. I hope you'll just bear with me and pretend that everything is legit in real life.
Thank you, mwah!
P.S. The picture above is like...taken using Yoongi's phone or something? Not really sure, but I do know that it's legit Yoonmin material.
