(Easton POV)

I woke up to loud sounds of knocking on my front door. I looked at the time and it's 3:30 am. Who would be visiting me at this hour? I grunted before getting up from my bed and walking out of my room to go downstairs in order for me to see who it is. Clingy trailed behind me, curious of who's at the door.

I looked at the peephole and it's Aries with a distressed look on his face. I opened it and I met his eyes. His eyes are red, probably from crying.

"Aries, are you okay?" I asked. He just looked at me sadly and all of a sudden, he pulled me into a caring embrace. I couldn't help but hug him back. This is the first time he has ever shown his vulnerability and emotions. I could hear soft sniffles against my neck. I rubbed his back to make him feel better.

"I'm sorry!" He whispered.

"For what?" I asked, confused. We pulled away and he held my face to look at me in the eyes.

"For...not being there sometimes!" He said.

"Hey, what are you talking about? You are always there for me." I said. He kissed me softly on my lips and I can feel my heart melting every second. As we pulled away, he smiled at me and wiped his tears.

"Easton, I have my bags packed. I think you should pack yours as well because we are going on a road trip right now!" He said.

"What? Already?! It's 3:30 am." I exclaimed.

"Yeah! Don't you want to get there as early as possible? That's what you do during road trips. You wake up and travel early so you can arrive at your location ASAP!" He said.

"O-okay! Give a minute, I am gonna start packing for a while." I said before heading upstairs to pack up.

(Aries POV)

I will not let anything happen to Easton. Over my dead body! I have to get him away from here before someone else tracks him down. I told him that we are going on a road trip but really, it's not. It's more of a rescue mission. I also told him to gather all of his clothes because we're staying in my place for a long time and I am not sure when we will be back.

"I'm ready!" He said while yawning with duffel bags behind him.

"Alright, let's go!" I said. I exited the door with Easton and Clingy trailing behind me. I helped Easton carry all his stuff and put it inside the trunk of my car before both him and his dog hop inside the passenger seat. I hopped on the driver's seat before driving away quickly.

"Where are we going, Aries?" Easton said with Clingy on his lap.

"It's a surprise, but right now, we need to get on my helicopter first." I said.

"WHAT?! Are you serious?" He said as if his sleepiness was gone.

"Yeah, this is more than a road trip, I guess. I want to make it special for you." I said.

"Oh...okay!" He said, with disbelief, excitement and unsure look on his face.

After a while, both Easton and Clingy fell asleep until we finally arrive at the site of the helicopter. The gates of the landing area opened and I drove my car inside for me to hand it over to one of my guards. Easton and I got out the car. Easton is holding Clingy tightly as we made our way towards the helicopter. The guards assisted us in bringing our duffel bags while we board the helicopter.

As everything is set, the helicopter took off and suddenly, we are up in the air.

(Easton POV)

Morning

I stretched and opened my eyes to see that we are still up in the air. However, I got mesmerized by the view because it looks absolutely beautiful. The color of the sky is blue with shades of purple and pink. You can clearly see the aurora. The mountains are filled with green pine trees and ice. I am stunned and then it hit me. Are we in...Iceland?

"Welcome to Iceland!" Aries said and my jaw dropped. I started bouncing up and down my seat in excitement and amazement.

"Clingy, we are in Iceland!" I said and she just yawned.

"We are going to stay in my mansion." Aries smiled at me.

Yay! So exciting, I wonder what activities we can do here.
