The Procession

As the motorcade leaves the Big Apple, it cruises down Broadway and passes through Time Square. Here, a 'whelmingly large crowd has gather the pay tribute and take photos. Tears are shead and white roses are thrown.

The motorcade meets up with New York State Police upon exiting the city. The line of cars then heads west and dips south toward Pennsylvania. The motorcade is closely followed by that of Queen Perdida of Vlativa, a long time friend of the speedster.

At the stateline, the State Troopers swap places with their Pennsylvanian counterparts. The motorcade is also joined by a military escort; courtesy of both the National Guard and Global Private Security. The escort consists of several armored personel carriers (APCs) and heavily armed gun-mounted hummvies.

The casket then briefly visits the City of Brotherly Love as it starts it's journey west. Outside of the city, the procession is joined by the President's motorcade and is flanked by the Secret Service issued SUVs. Ground Force One -- otherwise known as 'The Beast' -- wedges it's way between the hearse and Queen Perdida's limo. The action is so seamless, that no observer would of thought that this addition was actually done at the last minute.

The now over-sized motorcade proceeds west. It passes through Harrisburgh, where the state's governor salutes the passing vehicles from the steps of the State Capitol.

The procession passes through both Johnstown and Pittsburgh, where it crosses the Forks of the Ohio.

It then swings north, following the Turnpike, toward New Castle. Here, the procession is joined by the funeral's honor guard: the 101st Field Artillery.

While it passes by, Mr. Graves looks on from his tenth floor office. He wonders if there was anything else he could of done to either save the speedster's life or bring him back. He then boards his private helicopter and discretely follows the procession.

As the massive motorcade -- whose numbers are appraoching nearly thirty -- marches westward, it passes through several major and small cities. Youngstown. Columbus. Cincinnati. Springfield. Indianapolis. And, finally, St. Louis.

All along the way, people stop and admire.

The motorcade finally stops in Central City. It is here that the hero shall be buried. But little did the crowds know, that before entering the city, a second hearse -- also carrying an empty coffin -- abandoned the motorcade.

This other hearse, destined for Keystone City, carries the embodiment of the man behind the mask.
