Hello and welcome to our brand new contest!

Fun Times with Friends is an open challenge, where we invite you to send in your entries about ANYTHING! This challenge is all about having fun, and making friends. The poems can be any length, in any format and in any style. Totally upto you!

For just this time, our challenge will be reader's choice based. Which means, the more votes your poem gets, the more likely you are to win. So! Get your followers involved as well. 

You can send in upto a total of 10 entries in the duration of the competition, but, only one entry at a time with a gap of three days.

We'll be providing you prompts to help your creative juices flow smoothly. For that, you'll have to follow us in order to get the notification about the prompt. (The prompt will be given out as an announcement, so keep an eye on your notification board). Again, remember, these prompts are just for your help. Its totally upto you if you want to use them or not. No compulsion.

Seems fun, right? But, there's a catch...

This month, we are carrying out a membership drive, along with our parent site Poets Pub, and our fellow site FlashFictionForum. Thus, with each entry, you need to tag three people who are not a member of Poets Pub India. This is not mandatory, but we'll be giving out a special prize to the poet who gets the maximum number of new members to join us and participate in this challenge. Sounds even more fun now, isn't it? ;)

Now, the rules. Please read these instructions very, very carefully:

1. You can send in a total of 10 entries only. One entry at a time, within a gap of three days.

2. Once your entry is posted, tag 3 non-members in the comment section of your entry. This is entirely optional, but we'll appreciate the tags and you might also get a chance to get the special prize.

3. The poem can be of any length, in any style, on any topic, and in any language.

4. The poem should be submitted in the following format only-

Remember, entries will be accepted only in this format. Send it to us via pm only.

5. Lastly, don't forget to have fun.

Oh, of course, the prizes!

1. The Winner (person whose poem gets the maximum number of votes) will get a sticker for their book, their book added to our winner's reading list and will become eligible to participate in the annual Poet Of The Year Contest held in December. 

2. The next two Runner-Ups will get a sticker for their book and a shout-out from all three collaborating sites.

3. A special prize will be given to the person who gets the most number of new members to join us. You will get a sticker for your book too.

The challenge starts from April 1st 7:00 p.m IST and will end on  30 April 10:00 p.m IST. Results will be declared a week after that.
