≈ Reader's POV ≈

"Stupid sun!" I whine as I get out of bed.

I actually had to get up before 10 because Chloe and Dino are visiting me. I'm happy to spend a day out with two of my childhood friends but I wish they could've set it for a later time.

I continue to complain as I continue to do my morning routines and place a sound barrier around my room. Lussuria should be the only one up and I don't feel like answering a bunch of questions if the others wake up. Jes usually cooking breakfast or cleaning so he wont notice my absence soon. After my bath, I throw on a pair of black shorts, a (f/c) shirt with sleeves that go down to my elbows, and black boots that go an inch or so above my knees. I also left my long (h/c) hair hanging down and put on a (f/c) (baseball cap or beanie).

Grabbing my very lovely phone and ear buds, I undo the barrier, set up an illusion of me still in bed, and jump out of the window. Landing softly on my feet, I begin to walk of toward the town. The streets were more crowded than usual so it took me longer to get through.

'Stupid!! What if I just take my knives and start stabbing people... Yeah. I need to get out of the mansion more.'

Walking to a cafe, I find Chloe and Dino at one of the outside tables and join them.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n)!!!" Chloe cheers while hugging me.

"Hey Chloe, nice hair do and hey Dino! You didn't bore her too much right?" I say with a smirk.

"Hey!!! What's that supposed to mean?!?!" Dino replies.

Chloe and I laugh and we all order something from the cafe. Chloe orders some kind of molten cake with a latte while Dino and I order Teriyaki chicken/shrimp bowl with a quick drink.

After we finished eating, we tried figuring out what to do but it was too loud to even think. I felt my eyebrows twitch and began to get agitated again.

'If you little stupid brats don't shut up, I'm going to stab each and everyone of you and burn your corpses!' I thought to myself, or so I thought.

"Ummm, (y/n)? You need to get out of Varia more. You're threatening to kill innocent civilians that are shopping." Chloe says with a worried expression.

"You've always been violent but your also burning the table." Dino adds in with a hint of fear in his voice.

I widen my eyes in realization and recompose myself. The table cloth on the table is now burned pretty badly and the table looks like someone held a blow torch to it. I sigh and get up, leaving Chloe and Dino to follow me.

"Jeez, why is it so freaking crowded anyway? And what's up with all of the colors and decorations?" I ask aloud.

"Wait, don't tell me you forgot what season it is?!?!" Chloe shouts.

"I'm not too surprised. (Y/n), it's December 24. Does that ring any bells?" Dino asks.

I stop and think for a moment but my mind goes blank.

'December 24, nothing special. Oh, I get it!!!'

"It's when stores give discounts and time for more missions and assassinations ri- OW OW OW!!! CHLOE, LET ME GO!!!"

Apparently, I was wrong because Chloe started pulling my ear and dragging me to a little shop. She didn't let go until we got in front of more decorations and forced me to read them.

"Owie! Fine, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Fun Snow days; what's the point- oh. Christmas." I say with a blank face.

Dino laughs at my obviousness while Chloe sighs but then smirks. I hate when she smirks because its always bad for me! Sometimes Dino but it's mainly ME who suffers.

"You haven't gone shopping have you? Since we're out, Dino, we're going shopping!!!" She declares.

Dino and I both try to sneak off but she grabs us by the collar and drags us off to various stores. I was right when I said that alot of stores gave discounts but most of it is useless. It may be winter but its not that cold nor snowing. I actually do want to see snow, I think it'd be kinda fun, but first, Dino and I have to survive this Holiday Shopping. Tch, more like Shopping with the Fashion She-Devil!!!

≈ Time Skip because (Y/n) and Dino are being tortured ≈

"That looks great!!! We're buying it!!" Chloe shouts with stars in her eyes.

'Why you little- You're lucky you're my Best friend or you would have definitely died by now!!!'

"If it means we can go and eat now, THEN I DON'T CARE!!!!" I shout back with a pout.

She grins in success and pays for the stuff. We decide to go out to a restaurant and I order (favorite pasta) {PASTA!!!!- Italy. Sorry, I couldn't help it!!! Italy + pasta = love. Hetalia!} while Chloe and Dino order some boring dishes. When the food comes, stars appear in my eyes and I immediately say thanks, digging into the food.

"You really do need to get out more. When was the last time you went to an actual restaurant?" Chloe asks.

"Hmm. I took a mission and to assassinate someone while they were at a restaurant. Does that count?" I ask with an honest face.

She sighs and holds her head while Dino chokes on his food and begins laughing, resulting in him getting hit by Chloe. I pout and continue to eat. I like restaurants and all but they're expensive and time consuming. Besides, Luss cooks and I help him out sometimes and I don't feel like going out and being bombarded with questions when I get back. It's just not convenient, and some people are just plain snooty and stuck up.

"Soooo, I heard that you have a boyfriend~~~." Chloe sings.

I choke a bit on my pasta glare at Dino. He smirks so I narrow my eyes more and growl.

"So how's it going between you and- OW!"

I kicked his shin and he yelps in pain. Not only do I naturally have a strong kick, but I'm also wearing boots and they may or may not have steel toes. I kinda forgot. Any how, I didn't want him to run around telling everybody. Wait. How many people did he tell?

"Dino, how many people have you told?" I ask/growl.

"Ugh... Well, I sorta told my Famiglia and some people in Alex's and- OW OW OW!!!"

I growl and stomp on his foot multiple times. Chloe laughs at this while I try my best to contain my anger. I really wanted to just stab him but he's a friend.

'Wow. I need to stay away from Bel for a bit. I want to stab anything that pisses me off now. Eh, at least it's better than shooting and slicing. *lies*'

"Seriously though, what do you two plan to do for the holidays? And don't you dare say nothing!" Chloe demands.

"I don't know, I just realized that Christmas was tomorrow just hours ago. Besides, we're pretty busy with missions and everything, not sure if there'll be time for holiday vacations or whatever." I reply making Chloe sigh.

"But if you guys are dating, you should both make time."

"This isn't like we're in highschool and its winter break, Chloe. We're both in the mafia, Vongola at that, and are highly skilled assassins. We can't simply decide to take a week off."

"Yeah, but what if you could? Then what would you do?" Dino chimes in.

"I still don't know? What are you supposed to do on the holidays or whatever anyways? I usually took missions around this time because they paid more or did extra training." I reply.

Dino and Chloe share a glance and a smirk and tell me to not worry about it. The fact that they said it simultaneously terrifies me.

We finish eating and decide that they'll sleep over at the mansion. I highly advised against it but they said that they'll survive, although I highly doubt that. It was already like 12 or 1 am so I didn't feel like arguing. All of that shopping killed my spirit.

'Great. Explain where I went, do something with these clothes, go to sleep for 3 days straight, and tell the others to not kill Dino or Chloe. Ugh, I shouldve slept in!!!'

≈ Chloe's POV ≈

Dino and I are going to talk to Varia and her boyfriend~ about our little plan. I think that it'll be really cute and that she'll enjoy it too.

We make it to the mansion and walk inside, still carrying the bags of clothes that I forced her to buy. It was pretty quiet so I thought everything was good, until (y/n) started releasing some of her flames.

Before I could notice it, some knives were frozen right in front of my face and I heard a laugh.

"Ushishishi. What was the princess doing out so late? That stupid pervert wouldn't shut up about missing you cook with him." A blonde says.

"Yeah (y/n)-sempai, you missed dinner. Xanxus-sempai threw more bottles at Squalo-sempai~." A guy with a frog hat says.

"VVOOOIIII!!! THERE YOU ARE STUPID!!!" A white haired... woman says?

"SHUT UP TRASH!!!" Xanxus booms, I've met him before, unfortunately.

"My my, do we have guests?!" Lussuria sings, we get along quite well.

"Yeah, can you get some rooms ready for them please Luss? We already ate. And where's Levi?" (Y/n) asks while ushering Dino and I to Lussuria.

"He went to bed early saying you were taking forever. Besides, Xanxus beat him up." She nods and I just give them a confused look.

"VVOOOIIII!!! DON'T IGNORE ME BAKA!!!"

"Hey, can you stop shouting? Assassin or not, its not good for a lady to scream that much. It'll mess up your voice." I ask and advise

Everyone freezes and (y/n) bursts out laughing. I give a confused look and Lussuria starts pushing me upstairs.

"Oh my!!! A lady!!! Nice one Chloe!!! " She laughs.

"Ushishishi. The prince likes the princess friend." The blonde laughs.

"Wait, isn't she a girl?" I ask.

"No sempai, Squalo-sempai is a guy even though he looks like a girl~." The frog answers.

"VVOOOIIIII!!!!!"

*CLASH*

"Now now sharky, I'm not letting you touch her."

(Y/n) smirks and blocks the white haired man, still doubting it, with her foot and kicks him back. I'm not too sure what happened after that but it turned into a full out war, free for all. Knives being thrown, swords being swong, guns being shot, tables and chairs being burned; it was chaos but also fun.

♦ Time Skip ♦

The war within Varia ended so I decided to talk to her boyfriend~. I still can't believe she actually fell for someone though. Many people have fallen for her but she's never returned their feelings. Once I found him and avoided being killed, I talk to him about the holidays and my plan. After going back and forth on ideas, I get him to see what I mean and he agrees.

I head back to my room that Luss set up for me, with a few chocolates on the dresser, and get ready for bed. Dino and (y/n) have already went to bed so I can't wait for tomorrow. The plans are a go and will be put in affect if everything goes right.

'Please go right!!! And let my camera work!!!'
