Author-chan: Hehe... About that. I had to help my dad paint two of our rooms and then we had to replace the carpet. I didn't think it would take long but my dad had to prep everything and make it perfect. We only finished with one room yesterday and we're doing the other room today.

Squalo: VVOOOIIII! I BET YOU DID A REALLY BAD JOB ON IT YOU STUPID- *author-chan lights Squalo's hair on fire*

Lussuria: Now now dear. You don't have-

Lussuria: There goes the mansion again...

(Reader's POV)

"Hey. Wake up... Wake up... Wake up... WAKE UP!!!" I shout as I poke the sleeping Sharks cheek.

A tick mark appears on his face and I back my upper body up swiftly. I barely missed his sword and he swings again. This time, it's a diagonal so back up and go against his blade, appearing at his side that was left wide open. I decide to mess with him a bit so I tap on his shoulder. He swings at me again but I block the sword with my hand.

"Squalo, we need to go now." I calmly say to the irritated shark.

He simply growls and get up. After a few minutes, he is ready so we both walk out of the hotel room.

Squalo and I were assigned to a mission to assist an ally Famiglia. Not Dino's or else I would beat him, but the Alleanza Famiglia. Their boss is in her last month of pregnancy and another Famiglia has been starting fights with them. Their outside adviser is apparently dealing with something else and is unable to help. There objective is to eliminate the rival Famiglia or assist them until their outside adviser returns, but I prefer to eliminate.

Squalo and I call a cab and head to their headquarters. Squalo still looks like he's a bit out of it, so I let him sleep. I gaze out the window and find myself also drifting off to sleep.

(Time Skip)

(Reader's POV)

When we got to the Alleanza Famiglia's headquarters and we received the information that they knew about their rivals. They are indeed, a new Famiglia but are also quite powerful. They've been getting help from another Famiglia and that is all they know.

"That's not much to go off of. Is there anything else? Any little detail that stood out, even a little?" I question.

"Well, their ally wears white masks and their strong point is stealth and persuading. Otherwise, their strength is normal." The boss explains.

At hearing that, I freeze a bit and Squalo notices. I thank her and tell her that well handle it. As I walk to my room, Squalo catches up but still seems a bit off and tired.

"Vvooiii! What are you not saying? You know something about them?" He interrogates.

"Not really."

"That's not a good enough answer!"

"Ugh! Bel and I fought two of them before and I saw one at the Halloween party..." I mumble the last part but he catches it anyways.

He curses under his breath and drags me to the room where he's staying. My room is just across the hall in case anything comes up and so that we don't start yelling through the walls.

He slams the door as I take a seat on his bed. He then demands that I tell him everything or else he'll kill me. I could care less on whether he tries to or not but I explain everything non the less, leaving out the part of one resembling my mom.

"Who else did you tell about this?" He snarls under his breath.

"You're the first one actually. It just seems like the masks are really familiar but I can't put my finger on it."

"You had better had gotten enough sleep last night and during the drive because we're gonna do some research." He says, walking off to the other side of his room.

I reply with 'alright' and head off to my room. I take a quick shower and change into black PJ shorts and a (f/c) tank top with the words 'BOSS' on it in black letters. I let my hair down to prevent from getting a headache later. I grab my laptop, a few snacks like chips and candy, and a few knives (just in case Squalo starts a fight) and head back to Squalo's room.

I find him sitting on his bed in his PJ's (dark blue PJ pants and a matching shirt) with multiple files scattered across it. I grab a chair and sit across from him, offering him a bag of chips. He takes some and then we get to work, researching any and everything that may lead to any clues or hints.

(??? POV)

"They fell for it... Yeah, they seem to be researching now." I answer, watching Squalo and (y/n) on the screen.

"We make our move tomorrow." My boss instructs over our headphones.

"Yes sir." I turn off my headphones and look at the screen again.

'(Y/n), you certainly have grown into a beautiful young lady. Remember what I told you, you can't save them all.' I think to myself as I walk away from from the monitor and prepare for tomorrow.

(Time Skip- next morning)

(Squalo's POV)

'UGH. What in the world?'

I feel something warm on my chest so I open my eyes to investigate. I see (h/c) hair and then realize that it is (y/n). Her head is laying on my chest, arms wrapped around hugging me, and the rest of her body right next to mine. My cheeks feel like they're on fire so I try to move her but she tightens her grip.

'STUPID girl...'

"Hmmm?" She sits up and rubs her eyes sleepily.

Then, her eyes widen and her cheeks turn red. She immediately gets up and apologizes, leaving and going back to her room with her laptop. I get a bit sad because I wanted to stay like that but then immediately try to shake it off.

(Time Skip)

(Reader's POV)

Squalo and I discussed the things that we went over last night and come to a common agreement. There is a spy and that have successfully infiltrated the Alleanza Famiglia. We don't know who or even why, we just know that that's the only thing that explains how the rival Famiglia stays up to date with the Alleanza Famiglia's current moves and information.

As Squalo and I are heading down stairs, we hear banging, crashes, and shouts. This Famiglia aren't one to fight with each other so we quicken our pace. When we are on the first level, we see about 15-20 people attacking, and a few have white masks.

'What in the world's going on?! They said that they haven't attacked directly yet!'

I tell Squalo to find the Alleanza boss and I run toward a group. I throw punches and kicks, hard enough where they will have a broken rib or bone and it'll definitely leave a bruise. Repeating this, I have already taken down half of the enemy's force, but the rest run outside.

Being the impulsive person I am, I tell the my allies to stay as I chase after those who escaped. I chase them for a few minutes before I sense mist flames, making me stop dead in my tracks. A hear a silent 'click' and quickly duck down and run forward, throwing a random punch. I hit a person and they fall down unconscious.

"My, my. Haven't you gotten stronger." I turn to see a man with wearing a white mask and a sliver of blonde hair in front of it.

'Great! Just freakin' GREAT!!!' I curse myself, dropping a small bobby pin that has a tracking device in it, just in case this goes wrong.

"Who are you and what's your objective?!" I shout getting into a defensive stance.

"You won't have to fight me, I was simply ordered to capture you and take you to my boss, lady (y/n)." He replies with a smirk.

(Squalo's POV)

'WHERE IS THAT STUPID GIRL?!?!' I think to myself as I race across the rooftops.

I made sure that their boss was safe just to return to find that (y/n) had run off. The Famiglia said that she chased after some of them with white masks. She's such a BAKA!!!

I hear a beeping on my phone and investigate. It shows a red dot not far from my location. Still on the rooftops, I dash over to where it is and find (y/n) facing a man with a white mask. A strand of blonde hair over it and another man on the floor behind her. The blonde guy has something behind him and realize that it's a teleportation ring.

"VVOOOIIII! (Y/N) MOVE OUT OF THERE!!!" I shout while jumping down and aiming toward the man.

Before I could reach him, he vanishes along with (y/n). I slam my fist into the wall and see the other guy that was behind (y/n) on the floor. Dragging his body back to the Alleanza Famiglia headquarters, I curse under my breath.

'Just hold out (y/n). I'll be there to get you soon.'

Squalo: CAN'T YOU READ!? SHE GOT KIDNAPPED!!! *Lussuria arpnd Squalo start fighting*

Author-chan: CAN YOU SHUT UP!?!?!! *throws punches and knocks them all unconscious* Finally! Don't worry reader-chan. They'll save you, just stay safe! Now, secrets will be revealed about reader-chan and her past will come to light. Can Varia rescue her in time-

Lussuria: WE WILL FIND HER AND RESCUE HER AND IF YOU THINK ANYTHING DIFFERENT, I WON'T COOK DINNER!!! *storms off emmiting a visibly dark aura*
