I ran to Joy and hugged her and she instantly hugged back. I never wanted to let her go but the hug ended a few minutes after it started. "Mom what are you doing here?" Joy asked obviously confused about the situation, "I came to see you, oh it's been so long since I've seen you." I said hugging her again and then she asked something that broke my heart.....

Joy: Why didn't you come after me?

Me: I wanted to but I knew I couldn't...... I had to let you go......

Joy: Why couldn't you adopt me?

Me: I wanted to but I had no money.....

Joy: Oh....

And that's when Leslie showed up

Leslie: Hey Joy! Who is this?

Joy: Oh Dad, this is Emily but I call her mom cause she raised me most of my life

Leslie: I see..... Joy why don't you go play with Sebastian?

Joy: Okay! *Leaves*

Leslie: So you raised my Theodosia?

Me: Ummm...... Yes.....

Surprisingly he hugged me.....

Leslie: Thank You

Me: Y-You're Welcome

Leslie: *Hands me something*

Me: *Reads it* What?!

I couldn't believe my eyes!
