He eventually became an alcoholic and started to take his anger out on Skyla.....

The reason he targeted her is because she was too young to defend herself....

And since Nicole and Ocean were at school and Jackie was at work no one knew what he was doing.....

As soon as she got the job offer to be a make up artist she left.....
