November is a month rich in significations, and for authors and readers, many sources of inspirations.

The month itself, is not only dedicated to writing, as many have most likely started their journey to the fifty thousands words from the first of the month, but also celebrates Native American Heritage, raises awareness to the endangered Manatee, and honours Mustache and Beards!

If you follow the Way of the Pen, the 1st of November was your day: the Author's Day. Others would have enjoyed a relax evening, as Men Make Dinner Day...

Where is today's Common Sense? This question is often raised, and on November 4th is the occasion to reflect. What remains of 1776 Paine's Common Sense, some said had inspired the American Revolution, this Sense of the Common discussed and explored by many f the ancient Greek philosophers?

The Hindu community all over the World will celebrate on November 7th the victory of Knowledge above Ignorance, good over evil, the Festival of Light, Diwali / Deepavali. For many, it is the occasion to focus on the good, on lessons learned, and to rejoice with family and friends.

For other, the 7th of November is the occasion to celebrate the dichotomy of Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds, or to Hug a Bear.

A little fun observance will bring some smile around you. On November 8th,  challenge your family and friends to Tongue Twister games. You can also release your wild side and Cook Something Bold on this day. 

The next day, 9th of November, just relax while you contemplate this simple, yet primordial, fact of life: Chaos Never Dies! It would also make for an interesting prompt for an impromptu Flash Fiction ^^

The 10th and 11th of November bring us back on the Path of the Light with the Word Science Day for Peace and Development and the Armistice, Remembrance Day or Veterans day, as celebrated in many countries. 

Between the Way of the Pen and the Path of the Light, this beginning of November is a time for remembrance, rejoicing, reflection... and writing...
