Pumpkin Pie and Candy Cane
December 25th is, for many--and even some of those not following the Christian faith--a day of celebration, family and love.
On this Christmas day, we not only are impatient to open the present a jolly fellow left under the decorated tree, but we also want to celebrate... Pumpkin Pie Day!
... and more is also to rejoice about on this glorious day. December 25th, being the birth anniversary of Isaac Newton, is also Grav-Mas Day, a day to share about science and discuss inventions. This said, you could receive a greetings card with strange wording... What will yours read? A traditional "Seasons Greetings" or a more subtle "Reasons Greetings".
December 25 is a day of sharing love. Though, how to do so if, on this day, the letter L disappeared? It could be an interesting challenge for us, writers and readers, to try and write or read a story with no letter L to celebrate A'phabet Day (Or No L Day)! Would you try it, do not hesitate to share in the comment section your story, and to tag it #WattFest and #NoLDay.
Going forward, we will slowly leave the year 2018 and enter 2019. Before that, a week remains to celebrate many things.
26th of December is Candy Cane day! After Pumpkin Pie, Candy Cane adds a bit more sugar to keep us hyper and ready to enter in a new year.
It is also a day to thank the ones we love and respect, celebrating by showing our appreciation to those people around us who really count on Thank You Note Day!
Too much sugar on the 26th? The next day is a rest day, No Interruption Day. A day to reflect on our past actions, prepare our entry to another solar rotation, or simply a day to rest.
And just before the last bend in yearly path, December 29th closes on late or unfulfilled resolutions... the clock is ticking... Tick Tock Day!
This sounds almost like a prompt for a ClockPunk story... are you inspired? If you do, do not hesitate to share your story in the comment section and tag the profile and #ClickClockDay!
What will you be celebrating in this last week of December?
One last time before turning the curtain on this special day,
