Slowly opening my eyes as I felt a soft patch of grass beneath my body and back I looked up into a bright blue sky with clouds slowly floating over head, a soft breeze making the grass swing lightly around me. Bringing myself up to a sitting position I looked around the area to find myself in a field with little houses spaced out far.

Violet
A large field of grass perhaps the countryside?

The area I can see would suggest so and as it does look peaceful I should still stay on guard as I have no knowledge of the area or this world yet. Looking beside me my luggage case and parasol sat in the grass with multiple cut red flowers littered around and on my bag which was... possibly a small token of welcoming to Truths world as they set me down. Taking one of the flowers being a red lotus and studying it's bright color and gentle beauty I chose to take a part of the small gift with me as I lightly set it in my hair on the side of my head behind a braid near my ear as I remember seeing others having before. Standing up and brushing the grass off my dolls uniform I then took my luggage case and opened my gifted frilly blue parasol to shade myself from the hot sun shining brightly before starting my journey across the fields onto the dirt road then made my way down in search of what I was meant to do. I was unsure where I was walking to but knew if I was to write letters I'd need some way to draw in clients and the CH Postal Company's auto memories doll services. A large well know area possibly would do good and to then sort out sleeping quarters for my stay in this world was also needed. Continuing my walk I saw a blonde girl with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and a fairly kind face walking down and towards the me to which I took this opportunity for directions.

Excuse me but would you mind telling me if there's a train station near by? I need to get to a city of sorts

Oh! Sure there's a train station just down this road, about a 30 minute walk maybe? A train leaving at 9:20 bound for Central city is going somewhere like you sound like your asking for and an earlier train possibly also but you'd need to hurry in getting there to catch it

Giving a nod goodbye I continued towards where she instructed me keeping my travel moving as to catch the sooner train and not waste time. Sun bright, wind light, gentle sounds of nature and the outdoors surrounding me on my quickened pace I took to the fact this seemed to be a good withered day and a safe area for now. Seeing the station up ahead along with the train and a small food stand I hurried in my purchase of a ticket before the train left and walked up to the booth.

Right. Placing my luggage lightly on the counter after shutting my parasol and setting it lightly against the booths side I opened the case to remove my currency pouch but was confused as my money seemed to have changed to something I didn't quite recognize.

Having a quick explanation from the kind man as he showed me how much I needed with what I had he gave me change and gave me a good idea of how money works in this world to which I thanked him again as I was handed my ticket before putting my money pouch away and collecting my things together again before stepping up to the train and handing my ticket over. Being instructed to my cart which I thanked the woman for I took to finding a seat, the cart was around half full filled with men and women along with children. It seemed like a normal train like back in the world I originally came from. Choosing a spot near the door I placed my luggage case atop the overhead compartment rail before taking my seat alone and waiting for the train to start up as I glanced out the window into the lush green forests tree line as a deer came walking past the train cart I was in and headed into the forest. Hearing the door slide open and a pair of larger and smaller footsteps enter the cart together I gave a glance to see a tall armored passenger along with a younger and shorter blonde boy who were talking about something before sitting in the area on the other side of the trains divided isle across from me, both boys taking separate sides to be facing one another as they sat down and continue there chat. To wear armor in a countryside area made me wonder if it was actually normal to see such things but chose to look out the window again as the train gave a whistle and began to move. At some point as we neared riding past a body of sparkling water and lush forest I found myself enjoying the peaceful evening to my destination as I looked out the window with my hands resting gently in my lap overlapping each other. The sights alone in this world were breathtaking and beautiful to the point of myself feeling as if I was back in Irises home town or watching a once in a lifetime comet slowly shoot by.

Hearing the whispered shout and the apology of the armored brother I turned my head towards the pair and chose to state that no offence was taken.

Both boys snapping to look at me they both looked panicked and with apologetic faces as they both seemed to sweat more noticeably and wave their arms around.

As an auto memories doll it is my duty to work or to assist others by writing for them, may they be human or mechanical. The purpose can vary, but the Dolls can receive tasks such as assisting in research or conservation of rare books or simply write down ones feelings they wish to express to others in a letter

Alphonse seemed very impressed at a dolls work along with Edward Elric who nodded his head slowly as he looked my way once again.

That does sound like an interesting job. Are you headed to a request now then?

No not at the moment but I am on course to Central City to possibly search for work there

Ya? Well I guess it wouldn't be any trouble really and won't get in the way of reporting to General Mustang so I suppose that's alright

Lightly standing up and reaching up and grabbing my baggage I moved towards their seating area and set my bag up on the luggage compartment before taking a seat beside the shorter boy and placed my hands in my lap.

Both boys giving a nod small chat was made about a dolls line of work along with how a doll normally dresses or presents themselves. Both had different questions and always found themselves asking another as the ride continued on while I answered each one at a time. Some point into the journey Alphonse offered us both a bread bun of sort which I thanked him for taking this chance to refill on fuel to keep me going, waking in the grass field earlier I found myself feeling well rested so sleep was not required but food did seem like a good idea. Letting the two boys talk amongst themselves for a while as I ate I kept too letting myself look out the window and watching the water we passed by.

I can't get a good read on this Mustang character yet... what kinda guy do you think he is?

Lightly glancing to see Alphonse give a light laugh and wave towards us as a child's laugh quietly rang from behind us Edward seemed to turn to look but the child seemed to already be gone to which the armored boy seemed to be discouraged from.

Hearing the little girl behind us speak to her mother saying Alphonse looked strange I heard her mother tell her gently to not say such things as it wasn't nice to which the girl laughed happily saying he must really like armor to always be wearing it. Edward standing up and looking over at the other passengers on the train everyone seemed to be looking our way at Alphonse.

I don't see what the problem is with what Alphonse wishes to wear is it not something common?

Hearing the little girl laugh again happily as she waved at Al I questioned if children found people in armor as something intriguing.

Edward

The little girl smiling but looking down at Edwards arm I took notice of the prosthetic made of metal under his black sleeve and white glove to which he tapped and looked to the child as he smiled.

Nodding her head I went back to looking out the window as the train gave a toot. Finishing my bread I stayed sitting as time passed before a man came running down the isle who had gray hair and was in a possible suit of sort.

He's right there is someone with him, a girl? Ah and a boy! He is small

Eyes snapping open as Edward shot up from his seat as he seemed to be trying to nap he began waving his limbs around as he shouted to which I had not truly expected but kept where I was.

WHO YOU CALLING A RUNT SO SMALL HE CAN ONLY BE SEEN WITH A MEGNIFINEGLASS YOU JERK!!!

Relax kid the colonel said it I was only repeating-

At those words as the man backed away from Edward two men in suits wearing shades of sort held up there handguns and pointed them at the gray haired man who took a gun out and held his own at one of the men. Standing up with both boys I watched as the man behind the gray haired one hit a gun to the back of his head knocking the one once yelling at Edward down to the ground causing the passengers on the train to become worried and give a small shout of fright as the atmosphere became heavy.

No hero's today everyone shut up and put your hands above your heads or say hello to a bullet!

Doing as instructed along with everyone else I began taking in the frame of the man and guns they had. People being patted down one by one the men looked to Edward then began to aprotched with there gun raised and as they began to aprotched I prepared myself and moved.

Stepping forward quickly out of the guns line of shot I took hold of the guns barrel placing it up then sent a knee into his gut making him fall to his knees in pain to which I sent a sharp elbow to the forehead as I removed his gun, the man behind me held his gun up to my head but before I could handle him Edwards foot went flying right into his face to which his body slammed to the ground with a thud as both fell unconscious to which Alphonse spoke happily.

Edward laughing lightly as I gave a nod Al's way at the swift and clean take down of the enemy a young man aboard gave a complaint.

You dumb kids! What are we supposed to do now, don't you think they'll notice when two of there men go missing, and what will happen to us then? They'll want retribution, wouldn't it have been better if we cooperated and been safer if we did so till we got to Central

Most everyone on the train agreeing the three of us glanced at one another in question at what to do next. As part of the enemy within the train was taken care of I would continue my journey in taking out the rest but found as I was traveling with two new passengers something I was doing now I should ask what action they would take.

What will be our next course of action then if I may ask?

The man Edward had taken down starting to get up and raise his gun at the mother and her child Alphonse moved forward slamming his foot on top of his back heavily knocking the air from the man's lungs as he missed the pair but still shot his gun off before Edward moved forward kicking the gun from his grip and taking it into his custody.

Looking to the door the men came from it was very hard to have not heard that shot so I took to stepping up behind Edward ready as he turned to the small girl in her mother's arms.

Ed
Don't worry big brothers Al and Ed along with big sister Violet will take care of these guys and keep everyone safe alright. Let's get started Al, Violet maybe you should-

I am able to handle myself in combat fairly well so there is no need for me to stay back I will assist in taking care of any enemies

Sliding his tied up body across the floor with his feet the gray haired man looked to us three. Moving forward and watching as Edward untied the man's arms from behind his back I took in the way he was speaking and the formality and the way he carried himself which became quite clear as to what he was.

Just two ordinary alchemists and an auto memories doll

Huh, you don't say. I'm Falman, state warrant officer, you kids sure know how to fight

Edward
A soldier huh? You don't look like one

Hahahah well there's a reason for that, were watching a special passenger on board you know the front cart kind

A person of importance is on the train leading to a likely scenario of an attack I see how that would make sense

And they just chose to drag us down with them... Al I'm going up top to throw a surprise party you go with him from below, Violet-

All giving a nod we all split off into our pairs to which Edward and I took to walking atop the trains outside on its roof. Climbing up the ladder on the outside of the train letting Edward climb up first before I made my way up and kept focused and ready as to not fall off into the waters below or simply off the train.

Edward nodding we continued moving forward carefully and being careful not to draw attention from those below us inside, making our way to the front of the train as the wind whipped passed us and the train rattles and the winds air filling most of the noise around us. Train headed around a mountain side we continued forward though my  eyes widened as a branch came up fast to which I ducked to the train's floor for when it came, Edward it seemed wasn't as fast as his body got hit. Myself being behind him some ways incase he slipped he flew passed me quick but not before I could catch his hand and felt our bodies slip towards the carts edge roughly. Keeping on the trains roof as Edward slipped between the gap of two carts I held onto his hand and arm struggling to keep him up but holding tight as he hung onto me. I need to get him back up here or safely back within a cart.

Looking to a man with black hair and glasses who had his arm stretched out I gave a swing slightly to the blondes arm as to get him over towards the soldier to which he was grabbed. Grabbing onto the trains ladder Edward took a moment to collect himself before the two moved back atop the train with me and stuck low the man gave a sigh.

Names Mager Hughes I'm a friend of Mustangs, your Edward Elric correct?

Yeah that's right

And you young lady did this boy drag you into helping him?

Ed

He did not, I have chosen to help him along with his brother Alphones Elric on my own accord to take care of all enemies aboard the train

Working our way to the front again I stuck to the back as to catch Edward if he slipped again as my dress ruffled and flew back in the wind. Each step continuing forward we stopped at a cart to which Hughes pointed down and whispered lightly as we brought our heads together to explain then we slipped into action. Staying on Eds side he leaned over and stuck his tongue out at those below but quickly moved back as the men looked his way to which Hughes from the other side entered from the window lightly dropping in then taking a knife brung it down into one of the man's hands making him yell out in pain. Taking this as the go Ed slipped in sending a kick to the back of the other man's head who was now looking Hughes way knocking the man down and taking control back for the front of the train. Staying atop Ed and Hughes worked on quietly getting back up here after freeing the works for the front and as I reached out to help Edward up as he climbed back up the side ladder. Taking notice of the bald man entering up from a hatch I moved quickly towards him to his surprise as he looked our way and shooting forward grabbed the long barrel of his gun bringing it up and slamming it into his face knocked him back down the hatch he came from with a bloodied broken nose. The rest of the enemy are still down below.

Drawing a circle of sort down and activating it his plan went into play as he began speaking to those inside drawing their attention with his microphone leading down into the carts inside so they could hear him. Not long after Edward's few spoken words the the enemy below a large amount of water flooded the cart drowning most the enemy's out towards Al who took care of those who flooded out as I then dropped inside lightly and moved sharply forward. Bolting towards the man as his back was turned to me and was focused on Hughes with a gun placed my hands quickly on the top half of his body meaning shoulders as I kicked out his back leg as to take him off his balance while yanking his body back, acting quick as this all went through and he feel back towards me I held a strong stance as his large body barely had time to fall back onto my platformed lag. Grabbing hold of the left arm and hand of his before using my other arm to redirect him with my hip rotation past me and onto the floor I removed the gun from his previous grip then took a step back from the man on the floor while raising the gun to his head.

I advise you to stay down and let yourself be taken into custody sir

Picking himself up from the floor now on his hands and knees he looked to me with a smirk.

How cute a girl in a fancy dress knows how to handle a gun~

And as Edward said he did come down and dropped down heavily into the man's face as he looked up sending him back and onto his butt with a growl.

You two brats don't tell me the armys gathering up children to fight their battles now

Glaring at us the man shot forward with both hands to which Ed locked hands with and I took a step back from the two behind the blonde. Both parties pushing against each other trying to overpower the other in strength I stood with the gun raised but allowed Edward to handle it as he seemed very much equipped to do so.

A little piece of advice kids, I used to be in the military too. It was fine as long as I was pissing on cue but then I wanted this upgraded arm and they felt I'd be stronger than my superiors. You see the queen bees don't like it when the little workers have a sting they can't control and so shortly after the procedure they discharged me and since then I've gotten a thirst for destroying them and the nation they command! You understand boy you seem to have an arm just like mine, you wanted to be stronger too and the military, there going to get rid of you two the minute your not convenient!

The man's left auto mail arm being broken apart in Edwards grip he was pushed to stumbling back with an angry face as he gritted his teeth but caught himself from falling over. Taking a step towards then passed Edward as the man rushed forward in rage I took a run forward and used the wall to gain height in my jump then brought my other leg up and swung my booted foot harshly up into the mans face knocking him back from Edward before landing on the floor. The man falling back harshly into Alphone's body two armored arms locked to be around his neck from behind as the man struggled.

Then slowly as air was blocked from the man's lungs he passed out then was dropped down onto the ground by the younger Elric brother.

Alphonse giving a kind laugh both brothers looked to each other then to  Hughes all smiling. I can understand the man's reasoning but can not completely relate to his actions. The military is something I've learned is a harsh and brutal thing to serve much less simply stand by and let fight for you. Within war no matter who wins everyone in the end is burnt and hurt in many ways, people die, husbands and wives pass on, children lose there parents, and homes are brought to ruin… the train giving a whistle we soon reached our destination again to which I had returned to my previous seating area and collected my luggage before exiting with the other passengers but stayed with Edward and Alphonse as military officers began rounding up all enemies and pulling them together. I had learned that the man with the eyepatch and black hair was known as Bald, a terrorist who attacked the train with his men and had once been apart of the military himself before being relieved from duty due to unwanted behavior and upgrade raising his strength above his superiors.

No but everyone's wearing the same thing so it's hard to-

The man who just walked in with black hair and paler skin accompanied by the blonde with her hair pulled back seems to fit the man you have described along with the badge of status on his left chest uniform

Both boys looking to where I was we watched the man approach the head terrorist Bald with a confident stance and attitude.

The ropes that once held the leading enemy captured being cut lose with a secret blade within the broken auto mail the man jumped at the lieutenant white a raged cry which turned pain filled when the other man raised his hand in front of him and snapped his fingers creating a red electrical surge around Balds body before it alit into flames burning the mans top body layer leaving him still on his knees unconscious on the floor in front of the man he once tried to attack. I am starting to find that with my time here I am learning as this world is similar to my own the strange way of magic or creation people can bring upon others or objects is becoming very apparent.

Watching the shorter male run forward I stood by the younger brother in the suit while holding my bag with both hands as I watched the exchange between the officer and boy. There chat was interesting and learning of the state alchemist exam the two brothers planned on taking I began to wonder if I needed to research this alchemy more than I already knew for better understanding of this world. I suppose finding a library within the city will be something to remember to do. Both approaching the blond again who looked unhappy with the exchange the younger spoke up.

Those people had us dancing right in the palms of there hands didn't they brother? I guess it doesn't matter what we do, we'll never be the once in power or in control

While it is true law and others will always hold power over those beneath it that does not mean one does not have choice or rights of their own

Smiling gently at the young child as the two boys smiled widely and waved we soon made our way out of the station and towards the military's office building of operation though I chose to wait out front.

Nodding my head as the two brothers left up the stairs into the building I took to looking upon the city's area and structure. The city was large and bustling with people and cars, buildings high in a way and a little greenery was seen. The day was peaceful with the sky being blue and filled with cotton white clouds and the sounds of the city brought a safe but also organized feeling to it.

Turning my head away from the city back to the military building the blonde woman from the train station came to a stop in front of me having come down the steps to which I nodded.

I am sorry but I told the Elrics I would stay here and wait for their return so I cannot move, if you'd like we can speak here though as I am currently simply waiting and can still speak

Nodding my head I held my bag as the wind blew by and I responded to her questions without trouble.

As for the train I took it as a means to arrive here in Central City as to hopefully find work here, the Elrics were two boys I met during the trains trip here who sat in the same cart as me that were nice enough to allow me to share company with them

Giving a nod the woman smiled lightly before turning around and back up the steps leaving me once again alone. It was not long before Edward and Alphonse returned though with the man Mustang now and as they approached I gave a nod.

Bowing both boys smiled and passed on to where they would be staying before leaving to their place of stay away in a car. I myself should find a place to stay for the night but also the working of this city and its area. It was around noon in time so I had the rest of the day to sort my things out so walking down the sidewalk I took to finding sleeping arrangements for the night then would start in finding a library as to gain a better understanding of the worlds history and events. Cars passing by as I made my way down the street and passed by a mother and child I took notice of a unique little sign of a pointed hat with the words 'Gnomes Grove' then hanging off the wooden part in smaller words read 'Bed and Breakfast'. I suppose a bed and breakfast will work for now during my stay here, stable homing will still be needed on a later day though. Stepping inside the bed and breakfast a small bell went off and I took notice of an older man with a long gruff beard and mass of facial hair standing behind the counter drinking tea while reading a newspaper.

Approaching the counter I took in the wooden stairs and floor, everything seemed to be made from wood or have wood, a garden theme to the place. Being given my room key after asking for a simple room for one I handed over the required cens before being shown up the stairs and into a small room with a bed, 2 windows, a desk, and a bathroom off to the side to which I thanked the older man for and set my luggage down atop the desk. I'll need to get the auto memories doll companies name out somehow if I'm to draw clients in, flyers might be an easy way to begin, like the postal company had for the dolls. Understanding the city more and finding a library will be something I do first, leaving most my things in the room I took my money pouch incase I found myself in need of it and took my parasol as it was a warm and lovely day out.
