ELLIOTT P.O.V

"Hey Dalton can we talk?" I asked as I saw him sitting on the bleachers as he just shrugged not really giving me a clear response.

"Look, I know you're upset with ne but I'm still your brother" I said.

"I'm not mad at you. I can never be mad at you. Sure I'll get upset at times but doesn't mean I've disowned you" he explained.

"So......I spoke to Garrett this morning" I said as he turned to now look at me.

"Oh" was all he said in response.

"Dalton he really loves you" I stated.

"Well he has a funny way of showing it" he said clearly upset about not being able to display his love for Garrett.

"Dalton let me ask you a question" I said as he looked at me intently.

"When you dated for the first time were your parents even aware?" I asked as he bent his head.

"Well....no" he said a bit embarassed as he began seeing my point.

"Exactly. Same applies for me. So if we were terrified then just imagine how Garrett feels and add to that the societal change of coming to the city. He's still adjusting here so he wants to make sure everything is fine before he even breaks that kind of news to his dad" I explained to Dalton.

"I guess you're right Elli. Being mad at Garrett for that would make me a hypocrite and as his boyfriend I should be more considerate. That doesn't mean that it doesn't suck but I guess I can give him the time he deserves and needs" he said understandingly.

"And I'm pretty sure he's gonna appreciate that. You're a great guy, Dalton. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a boyfriend. Same applies to Garrett and yet you two chose each other. When Garrett first got here he could barely speak and now because of you he isn't ashamed to talk because of his Southern accent but rather embraces it. You built up that confidence in him like no one else could" I explained to him aa he hugged me.

"Thank you for this. I just think I needed to hear this" he said while hugging me.

"So how's everything with Ryan?" He asked.

"Everything's great" I replied.

"I'd say. Have you seen the guy's abs?" He asked.

"No. Have you?" I asked with genuine curiousity.

"I mean yeah. He showed it to me this morning in the guy's locker room. I was impressed to say the least" he said as I grew a bit envious.

"So let me get this straight, my brother got to see my boyfriend's abs before I do?" I asked s little annoyed at that.

*bell rings*

"Saved by the bell" he said before he pinched my cheek playfully and ran off.

I can't believe Ryan showed Dalton his abs before me. We are definitely going to have a talk.

RYAN P.O.V

"Hey Garrett" I said as I saw Garrett sitting at a table alone during lunch break.

"Hey Ryan. What's up?" He asked.

"I'm good and you?" I replied.

"I've seen better days" he replied

"Relationship problems?" I asked.

"Yeah. How'd you even know?" He asked a bit shocked.

"I spoke to Dalton this morning" I admitted.

"Oh" was all he said in response.

"Dalton's a great guy he just has trouble expressing himself. He told me how much he loved you and I can tell he was sincere" I explained.

"Yea but the problem is that he wants our relationship to be fully displayed but I can't do that just yet. Firstly my dad will kill him and secondly I'd recieve the whoopin' of my life" he explained apprehensively.

"He gets that now. I explained that to him. These things take time and he's willing to give you the time. He still wants the world to know you're his but he doesn't mind playing the waiting game" I explained as he looked at me.

"Believe me Ryan, I hate seeing him like this. I also wanna express my love publicly to him but my dad is the issue we have to work around. I really do love him Ryan. He got me to open up in a way no one else could. He was annoying at first but after he grew on me and I don't even think I can function without him now. He changed me from the shy, outcast Southerner to feeling like the most important person in this school if not the entire state" he explained as I smiled reassuringly at him.

"And those feelings are mutual. Trust me" I said to calm his nerves.

"Ryan, a lot of people say a lot of bad things about you but rather than sitting and gossiping about you, if they really got to know you, I think they'd like you a lot" he said which boosted my self confidence significantly.

"Thank so much. That's really sweet of you to say" I said as I smiled at Garrett.

"No need to thank me. I'm just bein' honest" he said as he smiled back.

"So is everything well with Elliott?" He asked.

"As peachy as can be" I responded.

"You want some words of advice?" Garrett asked.

"I sure do" I responded.

"Don't hurt Elliott or Dalton is going to kill you" he said with a wide grin on his face.

"Oh believe me, I know he will" I said as both Garrett and I shared a laugh as well as a lunch table for the remainder of our lunch break.

GARRETT P.O.V

I stood outside of school waiting to see Dalton before the bus arrived. I was pacing back and forth trying to calm my nerves before I saw him exit the building. I then ran up to him and started ranting before he even began to speak.

"Dalton, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel bad it's just that the circumstances were such...... I know I'm a terrible person but I just really needed more time.....I suck for not being able to display my live for you and I must sound like an idiot for ranting right now but....." I continued ranting, not even realizing my hands were shaking before Dalton held my arms still and planted a surprising yet deep kiss on me and even though I was shocked at first my body eased into the kiss almost naturally. Here I was ranting like a maniac to the man I loved before he kissed me so passionately that all my nerves, doubts and need for oxygen just vanished. I felt so loved by him in that moment and that's all that mattered.

"You love me again" I managed to say as he finally broke the kiss but we still kept our eyes locked.

"Who says I ever stopped?" He asked which just melted my heart.

God I love this man.
