ELLIOTT P.O.V

"Bye Daddy. I'm heading to the mall with Celeste" I said as I wished my father goodbye.

"Bye sweetie. Be safe" he said as I promised I would. I then got into Celeste's car where she would take me to the coffee shop to meet Ryan.

"So are you ready for your third date?" She asked while looking me over, assessing if my outfit was sexy enough.

"As ready as I'll ever be" I said as I smiled at her before she drove off.

"So what plans did you two make?" She asked.

"Not much. Just getting a coffee and a stroll in the park together" I explained.

"Sounds nice and simple. That way you two can talk and get to know each other more." She explained.

"Yeah. I mean not every date has to be extravagant" I stated.

"You just like spending time with him don't you?"she asked and I sighed in defeat knowing there was no use denying it.

"I really do. I've never dated before so I don't know if it's me misreading signals or this is really the beginning of love" I said as she smiled at me before she placed her hand atop mines and squeezed it as a form of support and reassurance.

"I think it's love but only you're the one who can really answer that" She explained as I nodded.

"By the way you owe me for taking you to the park" she said teasing me.

"Fine..." I sighed. "Ryan offered to pick me up but I just wanted to play it safe and avoid him running into my dad at home" I explained.

"Well fair enough. Your dad would flip if he only knew what you were up to" she said as I took a nervous breath.

"You're right" I said as she came to a stop in front of the coffee shop.

"Thank you so much" I said as I kissed her on the cheek.

"Good luck and have fun" she wished me before blowing kisses at me before driving off.

"Well you sure know how to make an entrance dressed like that" Ryan said from behind me and once more he spooked me from being so stealthy.

"Geez.....is it just me or do you always spook people like that?" I asked as he chuckled.

"I don't mean to sound like a creep but you're so cute when you're scared" he said which I had to admit, melted my heart a little.

"And you're pretty cute for a grease monkey" I retorted.

"So.....did your parents suspect anything?" He asked.

"Micah's at work and my dad thinks I'm out with Celeste" I explained as he seemed amused.

"Nice. You seem to be turning into a little rebel" he teased.

"I hate lying to my dad honestly. Micah, not so much" I said truthfully.

"But you're 16. That's the age of consent in Pennsylvania yet they still baby you" Ryan said a bit annoyed and confused.

"I mean they still view me as their baby boy" I said which made him smile.

"So when are you going to be my baby boy?" He teased and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"I do want control of my own life, believe me but they just think I'm going go to be a little boy forever" I explained as he listened intently.

"Maybe I can make you feel like a man" he said as he brought his lips to mines as we shared a passionate kiss and I loved the fact that he treated me like an adult and with so much adoration.

"How about we get our coffee now and head over to the park?" He asked as he broke the kiss.

"Whatever you want" I said as my heart absolutely melted at the effect he had on me. This must really be love. I just wanted to submit to his every desire right then and there and the way he adored me made me think the feeling was mutual.

MICAH P.O.V

I absolutely hate working on a weekend especially a Saturday but with all these upcoming projects at the office I needed to be there to ensure everything went smoothly. Dominic and I always loved being active within our company and always loved being there to support our employees but I agreed to cover today if he would cover tomorrow. When Dom and I first got married he wanted me to be a stay at home husband and I agreed but as the kids got older and started attending school being at home made me feel so lonely and unfulfilled in my life. Call me weird but actually doing all this paperwork and assisting all these employees makes me feel as though I have a purpose other than taking care of the kids. Not that being a stay at home spouse is a bad thing, it's just not for me.

Although I enjoyed my job it can be a little frustrating at times, like today for instance. It was hectic as hell rushing to meet deadlines. So I needed to unwind and what better way than at the park. Being at the park makes me forget all my worries both at home and at work. Something about the atmosphere is a bit soothing, it's like being free from a makeshift prison if that makes sense. It was an area I can just take a sigh of relief while just getting rid of my stress as I walked it off while getting some fresh air.

I only began walking five minutes when I saw something strange. I saw a boy that looked awfully a lot like Elliott but just thought it was my mental exhaustion playing tricks on me but the closer I got, the more I kept telling myself that it was Elliot until I was close enough that I can undoubtedly tell that it was Elliott. There was no denying it was him. A father knows his child from anywhere.

The strange thing however was the fact that he was with another guy. The guy seemed to be his age so maybe it's one of his friends from school. They were sitting awfully close together though but maybe I'm looking too much into something that's insignificant but all my doubts were put to rest by what they did next.
