HAYLEY O'BRIEN FEELS so happy her heart might explode. Wrapped in Billie's arms, she knows she's found her home. She feels secure, loved. It's like one day she opened the right door, walked through, and her entire life had changed in the blink of an eye. She doesn't know what she necessarily did to deserve the girl beside her, but she wouldn't change anything for the world.

Billie brushes hair behind Hayley's ear. "What're you thinking about?" she asks softly.

She smiles and tilts her head to lock their eyes. "You," she says simply.

"That is such a broad answer," Billie replies. Her lips curl into a small smile. "You could mean my amazing hair, my phenomenal personality, jaw dropping bod-"

Hayley cuts her off with a laugh. "Are you just repeating what I said this morning?" She smiles when Billie nods. "It's all true. And... I don't know, I guess I was wondering what I did for you to love me."

Billie's eyebrows draw together as her eyes flick across Hayley's face. She somehow shuffles even close to her. Hayley wraps her arms around her girlfriend's neck. "You saw me," Billie says quietly. "Really saw me. I, uh, I guess you made me realise I could be loved. That's when it all changed for me."

A single tear runs down Hayley's cheek. She smiles as Billie brushes it away with her thumb. "Sorry, just emotional."

"Don't apologise," Billie whispers. She leans down to press a kiss on the top of Hayley's head. "I got you, baby."

"What if I magically turned into an evil coconut from Moana?"

"Especially then."

A grin splits across Hayley's face, and she sighs happily as she leans back into Billie's chest. Even an hour later, 'I miss you, I'm sorry' is still echoing out of the speakers. "I love you so much," she murmurs.

Billie smiles. "I love you more." She leans down again and their lips graze. After a moment, she closes the gap to initiate the kiss. When they finally pull away, their foreheads are leant against each other. "To the moon and never back."

Another smile pulls at her lips. "To the moon and never back?" Hayley repeats in confusion.

"Yeah, it means I'll love you forever."
