Fuli's POV

It has been a month since my return and me and Kion had the time of our lives. We went to see the most beautiful waterfall while we traveled, and we got to explore so many rare animals, Zuri is officially out of our site and guess what. It was just me and him after lion guard duties. Oh how I loved being around him. Hmmm.......... he has done so many things for me and protected me from any harm. I want to do something special for him in return. I saw a Jungle when we were exploring out of the pride lands that had a waterfall just as pretty as the waterfall we saw. It has many wonders and sites and even a temple with a beautiful den beside it. It also has so many animals to choose from. He will love it! Totally!Alright! Trip will be next week! I better tell the guard.

With the Guard

" Hey guys? " I called out. Bunga, Ono and Beshte was here. Kion was no where to be seen. Good. I need it to be a surprise for Kion. " Yea Fuli whats up? " Bunga asked. " I will be going somewhere with Kion next week for a full week. I want to surprise him, after all he has done to protect me and keep me happy, I feel like I should repay him. " Bunga Ono and Beshte gasped. " Wait Fuli, you, you- " Bunga started, widening this eyes. But he was cut off my Ono who was so shocked, " - Like Him? " I widened my eyes. Oh no... I forgot they don't know that I am in love with him, they don't even known me and Kion are betrothed. Omg...umm... I guess I should spill it out. I gulped as I want blushing, and cleared my throat before I answered. " Y-Yes.. I do.... in fact..... I.. I.... I love him..... " They all dropped there jaws. " Awww... That's so sweet...... You and Kion will be perfect for each other. " Beshte said. I chuckle. " Yeah, actually me and Kion are betrothed. " Bunga and the rest dropped their jaws. " Wow!!! That's Unbungalievable! But congrats! Don't worry! We will take care of them baddies while u and wonder lion go on that surprise trip. "
Still blushing, I smiled and said, " Thanks..... means a lot. Imma come back in a week when I leave. Trip is next week and for the rest of the week. " Ono nodded. " You got it!!!!! " I smile.

A week later

When it was the end of the patrol me and Kion were the only ones standing in the lair. " Kion guess what. I have a surprise for you. I am taking you to a surprise place, somewhere out of the pride lands. " Kion smiled at me. " Oh umm OK... Lead the way Fulls. " I lead him the way to the jungle.

In the Jungle

" Here we are. " Kion opened his eyes and gasped at the wonders of the jungle. " Oh.. Fuli... This is beautiful..... Fuli this jungle place why you want to... You didn't have to.. " I chuckled and cut him off. " Yes I did, your my lion, my love, my life... My everything in this whole world. You kept me away from harm and you never letter me down, so now it is my turn.. " Kion smiled lovingly. " Thank you love. " He then licked me in the cheek. I blushed but I licked him back. I loved him so. Soon we went and saw the animals and then 30 minutes later we went to the temple to check out the sites and beauty of the temple.

In sunset

We were exploring the jungle and came across the temple. We looked and saw old stuff with sparkly things and a waterfall with a pit of water from the waterfall. Me and Kion admired it and then after that we saw food. Bread, berries, and nuts. " Want some Fuli? " Kion said as he handed one berry to me. The berries are good. So is the bread and nuts. I nodded. I took it, ate it and he was right. It was so delicious!!! The temple really had good stuff here. When we left it was near night time. I showed him the den next to the temple. " See that den? That's where we will be sleeping. Want to check it out? " I asked Kion. Kion smiled as he nods. " Sure! " We went in and saw flowers near, with a giant leaf bedding for both of us and water laying for us. We stared in awe. This den has been awesome to look at. And we were going to stay here for a week. Kion looked at me and smiled. " Thanks Fuli, this is so much fun. " I giggled. " And we will be staying here for a month. No worries. The guard got it covered for the week. " Kion chuckled. " Okay. Good to know love. Hey, you want to look at the stars? " I smiled widely. " Sure... " Kion smiled. " Great! Come on! "

During star gazing.

Kion and I were looking at the stars and we saw a shooting star. " Hey Fuli make a wish. " I closed my eyes and made my wish. My wish was to be with Kion as long I can with my cubs in the future, and be a happy family. " I made my wish. Did you? " Kion nodded. " Yep. " We cuddled and stayed a little while longer. While Kion was staring at the stars, I left and went to where the animals were. I got two birds and went back to the den. Kion turned just in time to see me with his surprise. " I got you some birds for dinner. " Kion smiled and licked me. " Thanks Fulls. Wanna eat with me? " I blushes a little. " Sure. " We went eating and then looked at the sky again. Kion yawned few seconds later. " You tired? " I also yawned. " Yep. Come on. " Me and Kion walked to our den and cuddled. " Thanks for this day Fuli, I love you, with all my heart,  I would do anything to see you alive and happy. " I smiled. " And I would do anything to make sure my lion is happy and safe. Night Kion, I love you. " " Night Fulls, love you too. "

And off we slept. Tomorrow will be awesome.
