mission
"Todayyyyy is your fffffirrsstttttt misssionnnnnnn" TK smiled as he dragged Enor out of the tent she was currently sleeping in.
Enor gulped. Her stomach was in a tight knot. "Do I have to? What happens if I dont?"
"Iffff you donnnttttt, thennn consequences happpeeennnnnnn"
"Like what kinda consequences?.."
"mmmmmm... enough to tthinnkkkk youre gonna dieeee....buttttttt you wonnnttttttt"
"oh.. So what is the mission?"
"wellll.... justtt follow alonggggg and you'll seeeeeeeee"
TK signaled her to get into the truck and she obeyed. Enor was shaking in her boots, she clearly wanted to be anywhere else than here. The truck ride didnt last too long, but it still felt like an eternity. The air felt thick and awkward. Once the truck finally came to a stop TK and Enor stepped out. As TK walked towards a house Enor decided to follow him. She looked around trying to take in her surroundings. There was a small white house next to the road all alone. It had a porch and what looked to be a garden next to it, yet all the plants near it were dead and rotten. As they got closer to the house Enor got a closer look at the house and realized the whole place looked wrecked and aged, not to mention an odd odor was emitting from the place. The outer walls were pealing off and the porch looked rotted and like one wrong step would cause you to fall through. As she carefully stepped on the deck she realized TK was no longer with her. As she glanced back she saw him with a bunch of crows flocking around him.
"Did...... Did we just come here to feed your birds?" Enor shyly asked
"no, I came here to feed myyyyyy birds. WE came here for sometihn elssseeeeeee. Crows are a sign of deatth soooooo theyre importttannnttttttttt"
"o-oh okay... Is something going to die here?"
"ahahahahahaaaa!! Probably." He suddenly got a twisted and wicked simile.
TK held out his hand for the girl to take. The girl hesitated and stared at his hand, she pushed forward and yet.... something compelled her to take his hand. He still stood in the same position and hadnt moved a muscle. His hand was still stretched out in the direction where the girl had been standing. She stopped from walking and slowly turned back. She carefully walked back and reluctantly placed her hand in his. Her face seemed to curl in disgust.
"WONDERFUL" TK suddenly burst out, as if someone had just hit the play button on him.
Without missing a beat he dragged the girl towards the small building. He shuffled his hands around in his pants pockets and his face lit up as he pulled out a solo key on a keychain. He stuck the key in the door but he didnt turn the key to unlock it. In fact, he didnt even turn the doorknob to open the door. He just put his hand on the middle of the door and pushed it opened. He led Enor inside. The door opened up to a living room. There was a window straight across from them and two big chairs. The chairs had PILES of clothing on them. Like, piles, piles and piles of clothing. The clothes didnt even look clean. They didnt look dirty but they didnt look clean either. They looked like they were unworn but had been left out for days. The house had an odd smell to it. A smell that was hard to describe. It smelled like if you breathed in too hard you would get some sickness that was laying in the air. All the air felt gross and contaminated and almost unbreathable if you were in there for too long. The rest of the house was normal other than some children games laying around on the floor of the only bedroom in the house and how it was messy everywhere. As Enor walked back into the kitchen for a second time she squinted to double check if all the empty McDonald's bags were really there. They looked outdated as well. Like they were from the 1960's. She wanted to check the bags but she felt it would be unsafe if she didnt have gloves on while doing so.
She turned to the round-glass table that had two white, dainty chairs pulled up to it. On the table was several newspapers that were also dated far, far back in time. The writing on them legible if you tried to read it, but she didnt bother. On some of the newspapers was a glass bowl. There was jewelry in the bowl of different kinds. Mostly bracelets were in there but a few necklaces and earrings could be seen. She gave a small smile as she looked at the jewelry, then gasped loudly and drew back as something had caught her eyes.
"I-is that a....?" She carefully pointed a shaky finger at the bowl. She looked around with wide eyes, trying to spot TK.
Enor quickly did a second glance to check her deceiving her. There in the bowl laid a syringe. She wanted to think that it might've been a shot for a pet of some sort but that was just her mind to hide the ugly truth of what it was really for. It was for heroine. The person that lived in this house, or used to, was a heroine addict. She quickly ran back and forth in the house looking for TK. She was confused when she couldnt find him, especially cause the house was fairly small. She decided to step out the house for a bit and stood on the porch. She did her best to soothe her heavy breathing, only now realizing how hard she was gasping air. She was glad that she could finally breathe some fresh air and it helped her feel better. She decided to search outside of the house for the boy that had brought her here. When she had reached the backside of the house, she realized that the sun was setting, and it was going to be night soon. This only increased her urge to find the boy so hopefully they could get back to uhm... whatever it was that she had been staying at. The campsite, yeah. After circling around the house about four times she walked back on the porch and sighed heavily she was left here, great. She could only assume that he had walked off cause his truck was still out in front of the house. She took a deep breath of fresh air before stepping back inside of the house. As she pushed open the door someone had stepped forwards at the same time and she was met only a few a inches away from TK. Enor screamed and slapped him so hard he got knocked to the ground. She yelped, surprised at her own sudden strength. She got worried when TK laid motionless on the ground after a few seconds. She nudged him with her foot and groaned and rolled over.
"You good?" Enor questioned.
"I thought you would never ask" TK responded before sitting up.
"Where did you even go anyways? I couldnt find you" Enor gave him a questionable look.
"AAwwweeeeee you were lloookkinggg for mmmeeeeeee" He cupped his hands together and held them next to his cheek. Enor couldnt tell if he was genuinely flattered or if he was mocking her.
"Look I dont know what youre trying to do here you obnoxious fool, but either way its not working on me." Enor had put her hands on her hips, starting to not regret hitting him so hard.
"Annnywaaaaysssss, I hopeee you dont minddd spenddinggg the niigggghhhhttt hereeee" He tossed a sleeping bag at her.
Enor caught it and almost got knocked back. "HELL NO. I can barely even breathe in here!! Theres no way im sleeping in here"
"uuygghhhhhhhh womenn are sooo annnooyoyyyinnngggg" TK rolled his eyes
"paRDON? im right here!"
"I knowwwww. Awfulllll isntt ittttt?"
"Im going to knock all your fucking teeth out. every. last. one."
"bettt."
After sometime of arguing of nonsensical stuff, they ended up laying out their sleeping bags. They had no pillows, and nothing else but sleeping bags. The floor was carpeted, but it still felt hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.
When Enor woke up, TK had disappeared again. Enor got up and looked around the house and he was nowhere to be seen. Enor had gave up looking for him and paused in the kitchen. She turned around and saw a figure of some sort. It was pale and long with some odd mask. The body seemed wispy, almost like a ghost. The mask had two big black circles for eyes and a long sharp black smile engraved in the mask. Out from the eye sockets of the mask bulged out two large eyes. You could see the veins lining the eyes. Where the mouth was, was a large row of sharp white, disturbing teeth. The limbs were all disfigured and it had a really small torso with extremely long arms and legs. Its fingers seemed to stretch on forever too. It was tall and seemed like it just barely fit inside of the house. Enor screamed at the top of her lungs and immediately turned around and started running for her life. She felt something grab the back of her shirt and she let out an ear bleeding screech again. Then suddenly, everything went black and she was knocked out.
