My smile dropped

Y/n's POV

I was so happy that Mark asked me to be his partner! This is great! I already have three new friends. I'm not sure if Dark would count, though. He was acting pretty creepy when we first talked.. I don't think he would remember me, he seemed like the type to do that to all girls. Still-

" Howdy there, lassy. Ya gotta partner for tis dumb project? Or are ya taken? " a boy, looking a lot like Jack, asked me.

" Oh, um, yeah. I'm with Mark, " I say pointing next to me to show that that was Mark, " but you could join us if you want, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. "

His smile grew wider as he said, " him or ta teacha? " I couldn't help but laugh a little, not my fault! He was funny.

" I'm sure that Mark wouldn't mind, and the teacher said we could work together in up to five, so I think we're good. " I say with a smile.

" Well then, ma lady, I'd be honored. " He did a little bow, making me laugh again. " Ma name's Anti by ta way. "

" Anti, huh? That's pretty cool. I'm Y/n. "

" ...want to be part of our group for the project. " I heard Mark say to Jack, grabbing my attention.

Jack glanced at me then back to Mark then me again his eyes staying there this time. A smile grew on his face as he said, " I'd love ta. "

" Awesome! " I shouted, making Mark jump a little, " Do you guys mind if Anti joined, too? "

Mark's smile fell and Jack got paler. My smile wavered, " W-What's wrong? "

" Haya there, Jackie! Been a while, huh? How's you an' ya boy-toy over here do'in, hm? " Anti kind of yelled. I just sort of looked at the three of them. Jack was glaring at Anti but I could see fear the in his eyes. Mark was giving Anti a look of pure disgust, like he was road kill or something. Anti was just smiling now staring at me, it was scaring the hell of me. I just wanted to leave, I just wanted to run and hide. This Anti looked like a total murder or something. I knew he was a demon because of his glowing green eyes and the long talons, sharp teeth, and his 'smile'.

" Ok, everybody has partners? Good. Now before you leave write the names of everyone in your group on a piece of paper and hand it up. Only one person up per group! Now everyone hand the papers in and get a sheet. " the teacher said.

Anti got up imiedently and handed in a piece of paper, got a sheet, came back grabbed my hand and bookbag, and left. Not before saying, to Mark, " fuck 'em gently, will ya Markie? Wouldn't want him cry'in tomorrow out of pain, now would we? Good luck do'in tat project with tis fucker. Alone. " He chuckled crazily, dragging me out of class as I looked back giving an apologeticlook to Mark and Jack. Also clearly showing that I did want to be stuck alone with Anti for this project.
