Chapter- 15
"I wïll, ma."
"And Anti? "
"Yëah?"
"I love you."
"Love ya, too."
Dark's P.O.V.
I thought humans would be more trusting, but apparently not. I tried to explain what happened to Y/n to the kids in the school. Most still don't believe me and even some demons don't. But that's because of Caroline (the bitch who interrupted me in the hallway) and Y/n's other friends.
Who, might I add, told all the new kids (the demons) how nice she is and how she always helps and is friends with literally everyone. Now three quarters of the school hates and kinda fears me at the same time. And to be honest, it sucks.
Only a few demons didn't really care. I still have my friends so that's good. I thought as I walked home. I lived around fifteen mins away so i didn't mind. Gave me some time to think. Before you ask, no, I don't live in hell- not right now at least. My father still lives there with my older brother, Jason. I'm in the human world to find myself a wife. I found Y/n my first week here but that asshole took her.
He took what was and is mine. And for that, he's going to pay.
I finally reached my 'home' and walked in. Running down the stairs to track my girl. I uh.. might've put a tracker on her when she wasn't looking.. Don't question me.
Anyway..
Anti's P.O.V
I walked up the grand stair case and the maids led me to my fathers room. He was still on his bed and deåthly pale. His breaths were harsh and hollow. How did he get like ťhis?
Last time I saw him was in July, now it's early September. What could've happened in such little time?
I approached as the maids left the room giving us privacy. Except for the nurse; she stayed by his side and dabbed a cool cloth on his forehead. "He's been trying to reach you since this morning.. It's only gotten worse. I'm afraid he doesn't have long, Anti."
"I uñderstand, Wish. Just tell me what's wrong wïth him," I've never seen anything like this and have no idea how it happened. I dried my tears before I got up here and right now I wanted answers- hell, I neêdeđ anšwers.
"Well, w-we're not exactly sure. We have theories, but, none of them are solid. He keeps muttering gibberish and.. *sigh*," she muttered. She must've been nervous. Wish never stuttered or hesitated. We've been friends for as long as I could remember. She's never been so scared of me. I must've looked more angry than I was.
"Sorry. Can I just? You know, talk with him privately?"
"Of course, Anti." she bowed her head in respect to my father. Even when his eyes were closed, people gave him respect.
"Anti..?"
"Father? A-Are you going to be okay? What h-happened to y-y-you? I swear if it was those-"
"No, son, I'm.. not going to be okay. It.. It was the angels but d-don't-" he stopped and sniffed the air around me.
FLASHBACK
Wish and I just came back from a trip to the Ever Red Forest. We burst into the throne room and raced toward my smaller throne standing proudly next to my father's. We always raced and fought over the gold and Ruby encrusted seat.
My parents thought that Wish and I would definitely get married and have a family together. Up until my father found out that she had elf in her blood from her great grandma. After that she wasn't aloud to share my throne with me.
Anyway, I was in the lead and didn't even notice the magic that coated her until I got on my throne. "I win, Wish!" I was grinning like an idiot. Then I saw her, trapped in one of my father's magical cages and being surrounded by multiple ghouls with swords pointed at her.
I slid off my throne and ran to her"W-Wish!? What-" I stumbled to a halt when a spear can down in front of me. I looked up and met the eyes of a massive Cyclops.
My father came out of a side door and stood in front of me. "T-That's your magic.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO WISH!?!?!?!!" I screamed. Don't get me wrong, I'm terrified of him, but I was mad. Very mad.
"You don't understand, son. She isn't your Wish." He waved his hand in her direction and she screamed in pain.
"NO!!" I cried out. "Let her go! Please!" my father held me back.
"No, Anti. Just watch."
I kept thrashing against him but I obeyed and watched. My movements slowed when I saw the flesh melting off of her. Fear turn into confusion when her brunette curls melted away and were replaced with bright blonde locks. Her purple dress faded to a perfect white. And when she looked up at me she smiled with yellow orbs instead of her unique purples.
"Go Fuck yourself, Prince. Wish is dead. I killed her myself. You should have seen the blood everywhere, all over her purple gown. I think she looked better in red, but-" I lunged at her, snatching the Blood Knife from my father's hand and diving on to her. I lost count of the holes in her chest as I laughed like a maniac and cried an ocean. The ghouls scattered in fear of me and my father had to pull me off of the corpse, still screaming but I stopped the laughing.
He held me close and rubbed my head in comfort. "Shhh.. It's okay. It wasn't her. It was an angel. It's not your fault. It isn't your fault, Anti.."
END OF FLASHBACK
"Who did you meet? " his words pulled me out of the past. We eventually found in a cave guarded by angels nearby. I killed them all with little hesitation. I could tell father was proud.
"W-What?"
"You heard me, Anti. Who did you meet? I smell a female on you besides you mother and no blood," he smelled around more, "is that an angel?!" he whispered in disbelief, staring at me intensely.
"No, f-father, Y/n is only human. I brought her to my homë this mořning.. She is no angel, I assure you."
"I'd be thrilled with either, son. But.. I can smell it on you. Very faint, but I know angel when I smell it. Please, tell me more about this Y/n." he was grinning now. It made me feel proud that he approved of her. The more I talked about her the happier he seemed. I know that he was certain she was an angel. I wasn't so sure and had to ask him something that was bugging me.
"I.. I thought angels hate demons. If I marry an angel... Does that mean she'll kill me whenever she gets the chance??"
He took in a long sigh and let it out slowly. "She might not even know what she is. Not many angels do. And by the way you describe her, I don't think she does. She seems innocent and pure. Lucifer knows where she grew up," he scoffed.
I took my time to piece words together and form sentences for my father to understand my train of thought, "With.. demons... That's what I smelled! Demon! She never met or touched a demon before me and Dark.. She was raised by demons. That's why she doesn't know who she is. That's why I couldn't smell angel! It was so clouded with her brothers' demon scent. I-I'm gonna marry an angel. A real angel " I was actually happy. Really happy.
