Epilogue ~~

8 Years Later

Jungkook loved watching his boyfriend waddle around. He grinned brightly in endearment as Jimin made his way downstairs and toward the kitchen. He stopped and frowned as he noticed a piece of paper on the floor. He began to bend down for it and Jungkook jumped up.

"Nuh uh, get back up. I'll get it," Jungkook rushed over as he snatched up the paper, looking it over quickly before giving Jimin a quick peck on the cheek.

Jimin sighed as he stood back up straight and eyed his boyfriend annoyingly.

"I may be pregnant but I'm not useless or helpless," Jimin frowned as he rubbed a hand down his stomach before pressing his hands to his back.

"Never said you were," Jungkook grinned as he leaned back in to peck Jimin's lips before taking the paper to the table in front of the couch. "Though Lindsay Thanh would be upset if she knew you threw her paper on the ground. Sigmund Freud?"

"God, you don't wanna know," Jimin sighed as he waddled to the couch and groaned loudly as he sat down.

Jimin was a psychology teacher at a high school an hour away from their new home. After they got back together, Jungkook left his old place and they got a place together. They kept their relationship as quiet as possible until Jimin's mother noticed a hickey (Jungkook just couldn't control himself) and people weren't in agreement with how they felt about them.

Some thought they were absolutely gorgeous and the other found Jimin to be a whore as he went to his husband's co-worker so fast. It also didn't help that around that same time Jimin announced his pregnancy.

They had been together for six and a half—almost seven—years when they announced the incoming baby. Jimin was excited in the beginning but as the pains and swelling came in, he couldn't wait for the baby to come out. He blamed Jungkook for how big his stomach was.

"You and your big genes," Jimin would growl as he would roll out of bed.

Jungkook would laugh and cuddle him. "You're the one that locked your legs around my waist when I told you I was close."

Jimin would then roll his eyes in response and rub his swollen belly.

"When are you going to take your leave?" Jungkook mumbled from beside Jimin as he rubbed at his boyfriend's stomach.

"Once I pop this baby out."

Jungkook huffed in annoyance as he buried his face in Jimin's neck. He played with Jimin's hair and hummed as he sat up.

"The pink looks good on you."

"You're only saying that because I cried."

Jungkook snorted.

When Jimin found out he was pregnant he had explained to Jungkook that he's always wanted to change up his appearance in a drastic way. So, they went to the store and bought pink hair dye and all the products that came with dying your hair.

Jimin was six months pregnant (so, a month ago) when they finally got around to dying it. Jimin was excited as he watched Jungkook through the mirror and apply the dye. But for some reason after his hair was washed and blow-dried, he hated it.

He sobbed and sobbed about how it looked ugly, how he looked ugly, and now he'd have to shave his head off. Jungkook made quick work of comforting him and then dying the tips of his hair the same shade of pink.

Through the sobbing and low cries, Jimin acknowledged that his boyfriend looked very cute and Jungkook countered that he looked just as cute.

Truly, they complimented each other.

Jimin stood at his desk as he organized his papers, smiling and muttering goodbye to his students as they left. He barely noticed the five students stopping in front of his desk.

"Mr. Park," one of the female students grinned.

Jimin looked up and smiled at them as he straightened his posture and placed his hands under his heavy baby.

"Oh? Were you sent by Mrs. Cole for another prank?"

They all shook their heads with a huge grin. Jimin noticed they seemed to be vibrating with excitement. He raised an eyebrow and the boy in the front grinned. He expected much from his senior class, for them to be a little funny, but this seemed different.

"We have a question," the boy in front smiled.

"Okay?" He stepped from behind his desk.

The boy in front pulled out a board from behind his back.

"Will," Jimin read.

The next girl pulled her board.

"You," Jimin squinted.

The boy beside her revealed his board which was covered in sparkles, glitter, and hearts.

"Marry," Jimin's eyes bucked as he turned his head to the last two people who flipped their boards.

"Me?"

Jimin blinked as all the students still in the class—students with rides or cars—began squealing, cheering, and clapping. Jimin turned around and there was Jungkook, down on one knee, holding open a box showing off a diamond ring. Jimin's eyes widened as his eyes flickered from the ring to Jungkook.

The students were chanting for him to say yes but Jimin was in absolute shock.

His boyfriend looked so handsome in his white button-up shirt and with a charming grin on his face.

"Jungkook," Jimin gasped.

"Will you marry me, Jimin?"

Jimin nodded quickly as he grabbed Jungkook's face and pulled him up for a hug.

"Oh my God, this is probably so inappropriate," Jimin cried as Jungkook pulled away to slip his ring on.

Jungkook shrugged. "I asked your boss, it's officially after hours, and all these students agreed. Plus, I paid them."

Jimin rolled his eyes as he wiped the tears that stained his cheeks and turned to his students.

"It was good money," the first boy shrugged. "My job sucks."

"I second that! Besides, I was told by last year's seniors to say yes to everything!"

Everyone agreed. Jimin smiled at them all before ushering them to head home. Jimin walked hand-in-hand with Jungkook as he carried all of Jimin's stuff to the car after he cleaned up his classroom.

"Took you long enough," Jimin mumbled as he looked down at his engagement ring.

"Yeah, yeah," Jungkook snorted.

"'Yeah, yeah'!? I'm seven months pregnant with your big ass baby! Should've been sooner!"

Jungkook laughed as he put Jimin's stuff in the backseat and helped him into the passenger seat. Jimin had wondered why Jungkook was so adamant on driving him to work that day but now it makes sense. Jungkook got in and started the car, giving Jimin's belly a sweet kiss before driving off.

"I know but you said you kept saying you were glad you changed your name back so it'd be 'Park' on your diploma."

"Being engaged doesn't change my name," Jimin grumbled and then grunted at the baby's movement.

"I still have a fear of rejection when it comes to you."

Jimin lolled his head to the side to look at Jungkook.

"We've been together for eight years now, not including the nine months when I was still with Namjoon. And like I've said, I'm pregnant."

"That doesn't always mean you'll stay," Jungkook mumbled as he reached over and squeezed Jimin's thigh.

Jimin snorted. "It does. I'm not raising this baby alone. And don't you try to leave me either."

"You wish," Jungkook smirked as he turned sharply, holding his arm over Jimin and his baby bump.

Jimin grinned endearingly as he rubbed Jungkook's hand.

"Not in a million years, my fiancé."

Jungkook grinned widely and glanced at Jimin. "I like the way that sounds coming from you."

Jimin giggled as he unlocked his phone and opened Instagram. Immediately a photo of Namjoon and his new husband popped up and an idea popped into his head.

"You didn't wanna get married around the same time as Namjoon, didn't you?"

Jungkook scoffed. "Like I care when that guy gets married."

"You had a scowl the entire wedding ceremony."

"So did Taehyung!"

"Yeah, but you two are different. You both don't like him but for different reasons."

Jungkook grumbled annoyed as he turned onto the street that led to their home.

"Hoseok looked so pretty, though. I'm happy for them. I think they complement each other, don't you?"

Jungkook shrugged.

"Hey! Don't be mean. They're cute," Jimin clicked his tongue as he scrolled through Hoseok's account to find some photos from the wedding.

"Yeah, whatever."

Jimin rolled his eyes as the car stopped at their home. They got a small two-story house. Jimin thought it would be obnoxious if he lived in a huge house as a teacher but Jungkook thought too small of a house would be offensive considering how hard he's worked.

Jungkook told Jimin to stay in the car before he took all their stuff inside. He came back out to pick Jimin up and carry him bridal style.

"Oh my God! Stop! I'm heavy," Jimin whined.

"No way," Jungkook snorted as he walked up the stairs and shut the door behind them. He locked it quickly and then adjusted his hold on his fiancé. "What kind of gym rat would I be if I can't even pick up my pregnant fiancé?"

Jimin giggled as he kicked his feet while Jungkook carried them upstairs to the bathroom.

f.u.

Jimin was home alone one Thursday afternoon as he just wasn't feeling great. He had gotten a text from Hoseok asking if he could come by and Jimin agreed.

He waddled down the stairs after hearing the doorbell and opened the door with a huge smile as Hoseok stood there holding bags of groceries.

"You want me to cook?" Jimin teased.

"No! Oh, my God!? How could I ever—"

"Hoseok," Jimin stopped him as he took one of the bags. "I'm joking."

"Oh," Hoseok folded his lips as he followed Jimin inside after closing and locking the doors.

"How are you?" Jimin asked as he unpacked one bag while Hoseok unpacked another.

"Um, alright. A little, um, doubtful?"

Jimin paused as he held a head of cabbage and green onions. He was on his way to place them in a strainer in the sink.

"Doubtful?"

Hoseok nodded as he took out a bottle of grape juice—the main alternative everyone tends to drink when in Jimin's presence.

"Just... I always wondered why you and Namjoon divorced because you two always seemed perfect and happy." Hoseok turned to look at Jimin. "It was never confirmed if he... had an affair, so I assumed the news was just too much strain on your relationship with him so you both divorced. But a few days before the wedding I had asked Namjoon and he told me..."

Jimin's shoulders dropped and he frowned. "Oh."

"Yeah."

"Then you..."

"Yeah. I'm worried he'll cheat on me too. Just... how did you do it? You stayed for so long and now you're pregnant and living with another man and just—"

"He won't do that to you."

"How do you know?"

"I don't," Jimin sighed with his eyebrows raised. "That's what I'm hoping. I'm hoping he won't make the same mistake twice. You're so sweet, Hoseok, I don't know how he could live with himself if he cheated on you."

"So are you!"

"Oh no. I was a little bitchy sometimes. Ask Jungkook."

Hoseok snorted. "But you're pregnant now and Namjoon swore it was all his fault and that you were perfect."

"Ew, what a weirdo. Talking about his ex with his new spouse. And talking so highly? Gross," Jimin fake gagged before laughing.

"No, I asked, I swear."

Jimin smiled as he lightly bumped Hoseok's hip with his.

"He was amazing except for that one character flaw and I'd like to believe he grew past it and will be the best for you. I'm glad he has you and he better fall to his knees every time he sees you."

Hoseok smiled as he began ripping and washing the lettuce.

"How'd you cope?"

"I barely did. I hated him. Hated his face and his touch."

"So how—"

"Jungkook."

"Huh?"

"I'm not happy he cheated on me but that brought me to Jungkook and I love that man with everything I've got. Do I wish he and I could've met under better circumstances? Sure. But oh well, you know? And if he ever sucks, I'll be here for you and we'll kill him together."

Hoseok laughed as he thanked Jimin and hugged him tightly.

"And if it makes you feel any better, I cheated back with Jungkook."

Hoseok pulled back and gasped.

"What!?"

"Yep. Jeon Jungkook pursued me and we had an affair for like nine months. I broke up with him because he told me he loved me. I ran away, divorced Namjoon, and went into hiding."

"Oh my god..." Hoseok gaped.

"But he popped up at Tae's place and begged for me back. Now, eight years later, we're engaged and I'm pregnant."

Hoseok hummed. "Yeah, that's—engaged!?"

Jimin showed off his engagement ring and Hoseok gasped.

Throughout the rest of Hoseok's stay, they spoke about the wedding and who they'd tell and who they'd invite. They also spoke of baby names and what gender the couple preferred.

Jimin didn't care. Jungkook wanted a girl.

f.u.

"And—Oh. Excuse me," Jungkook turned his head as he answered the phone.

Everyone knew a call from Jungkook's lovely fiancé could be the call. So, they waited patiently as Jungkook took the call and turned away slightly.

"Hey, Honey—"

"My water broke."

The whole world halted and once Jungkook's soul came back he shot up from his chair.

"What!? Oh my God! Okay, okay, I—"

"I'm okay," Jimin laughed. "I'm in labor but the baby isn't coming out right now. I'm heading to the hospital now with Tae, Hoseok, and my mom."

"Okay, I'm heading there right now."

"No rush, Love—oh!" Jimin groaned. "Okay, maybe a little rush. Don't die, I'll kill you if you leave me like this."

"I wouldn't dream of it," Jungkook quipped as he began gathering his stuff.

"Bye-bye, Baby," Jimin cooed.

"I'm coming to you, okay? I'll be right there!"

Jimin giggled. "Hurry."

Jimin hung up as Jungkook finished packing his bag.

"My fiancé's water broke, this meeting will have to be resumed with me later or without me."

"Jimin's water broke?" Namjoon shot up.

"And your husband is with him," Jungkook nodded at him as he rushed out of the room, Namjoon followed quickly behind him.

Jungkook tried not to panic because Jimin wasn't panicking but just because he was okay then doesn't mean he'll be okay during the miles Jungkook takes to get to him.

Jungkook rushed to ask the front desk where his fiancé was and tripped over himself to get into the room. Jungkook threw the door open and felt his heart drop. Jimin was holding a baby wrapped in white blankets.

Moon propped her hands on her hips and shook her head.

"You missed it."

Jungkook felt like he could cry as Jimin looked up at him.

"No! I was rushing here! I broke so many traffic laws and you said you weren't close. I rushed so hard. Jimin, please I didn't mean—"

"Mommy, this is mean!" Jimin whined as he threw the baby onto the couch beside Taehyung and Hoseok.

Jungkook jumped and gasped before the baby rolled out and turned out to be a doll. Jungkook turned to Jimin as his mouth opened and closed, and his head fell to the side.

Moon began laughing as Jimin threw the blanket off and smoothed down his gown to show the baby was still very much inside of him.

"Mom wanted to prank you and I knew you'd get sad. Come here, I'm sorry," Jimin pouted as he opened his arms toward Jungkook.

Jungkook mindlessly walked over to Jimin and hugged him, smoothing down his hair as Jimin's face was buried in his stomach.

"That... that was really scary."

"I'm sorry!" Jimin whined as he pulled away and looked up at him.

Jungkook immediately began squishing his face as he scowled. "That wasn't funny! I thought I missed an important moment!"

Jimin whined as he tried to pull away from Jungkook's hands.

"If there was a way I could properly get revenge on you, I would do it."

"Noo! Mom came up with it!"

"And you went along with it!"

Jimin pulled away and crossed his arms with a pout. Everyone watched the interaction endearingly.

"How unfortunate your kids are going to have to deal with such childish parents," Taehyung teased as Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jinsoo arrived.

Everyone sat around as the nurses came in every so often to check his dilation before everyone was ushered out but Jungkook.

Jimin was on his knees as he was breathing in and out and crying out in pain at his contractions. Jungkook stood beside him and rubbed his back and sides as he groaned.

"Dad?"

Jungkook turned to one of the nurses.

"Would you like to catch the baby?"

Jungkook's eyes bucked.

"I—But he—Shouldn't I—?"

"Catch 'em, Kook," Jimin exhaled as his face scrunched up in pain.

The nurses quickly helped Jungkook get put in his scrubs and then he was positioned behind Jimin, his hands under him ready to catch the baby. He wanted to make a dirty joke but he decided to say it at a more appropriate time.

It was insane watching the baby fall into his hands, covered in blood and some other substance Jungkook wasn't sure he wanted to know. Jimin is carefully moved to lying on his back and their wailing baby is placed on his chest.

They're both crying in happiness as they look at their new family member, their new daughter.

The baby is taken for her measurements and health check while the nurses clean up Jimin and Jungkook prepares himself.

Jimin swiftly knocks out after a few kisses and hair rubs. The baby was rolled back in, adorably wrapped up in a onesie and little hat. Jungkook was overwhelmed with joy as he looked down at her red chubby face.

Everyone came by to see her and gushed over her but Jungkook didn't allow anyone to dare hold her until Jimin got to again, but for longer and properly.

"Where is she?"

Jungkook quickly scooped her up and nestled her in his fiancé's arms.

"Her name?"

Jimin rubbed her cheek while Jungkook gave both of their foreheads a kiss. He smiled at her before looking up at Jungkook.

"Amara."
