a few days passed. i had already organized my stuff at school and was ready for my first day on monday. today was saturday. "hey..." jieun knocked on my open door. "hey." i replied. "i know it's soon but....there's and end of summer party tonight." she spoke. "we should go." she said. "a party? with new people? i don't know." i looked down. "it'll be fun, and a chance for you to see some people from campus, so on your first day it won't be so intimidating." she explained. "and it can make you forget about kai." she said. "you won't have to worry or see him anymore ." she comforted.

i was lost in through for a moment. she's right. i have to forget about him. a fresh start. exactly what i need right now. maybe some new faces won't hurt. "okay, but you can't leave me for your other less cool friends." i teased. "never." she laughed. "besides you might like them." she added. "i hope they like me." i said. "they better." she teased.

the nighttime rolled around and we were both getting ready. "okay which one gives, i belong here and i'm not an outsider?" i asked. "definitely the sheer one." she pointed to the long sleeve sheer top.

i've been to my fair share of college parties. don't love them. don't hate them. but jieun is right. i do need a fresh start. maybe this college is it. we arrived at the house with loud music and students. "we're here." she cheered. "don't leave okay." i said. "i got you, don't worry." she linked her arm with mine as we entered.

jieun was fairly known. not popular but known. "jieun!" a girl cheered as she saw my friend. "sana! this is my best friend, y/n." she introduced. "y/n, i've heard so much about you! jieun never shuts up." she laughed. "it's so nice to meet you." i smiled. "come on let's get you a drink." she ushered me to the kitchen.

"just beer is fine." i spoke. i got my drink and the next thing i new i was sitting in a circle of jieun's friends. "so y/n, i heard you're coming to our campus." the guy with the glasses spoke. "i am." i smiled. "i'm transferring." i added. "hey." i heard a soft voice. "oh hi." i looked to my right to find the cutest boy. "i'm jimin." he flashed a smile. "y/n." i added. "i know." he spoke. i blinked a couple of times. "you're really pretty." he spoke bluntly. "oh...thanks." i touched my hair behind my ear. "she's single." jieun whispered to us with a wide grin on her face. i glared at her whilst the blonde haired boy smiled.

a couple hours passed and i got up. "i'm gonna go to the bathroom." i told jieun. "want me to come with?" she asked. "no it's okay, you stay." i assured her. she nodded before i left the circle. i made it to the bathroom and finished up. as i was walking out the door i noticed a all to familiar figure. kai? what the hell was he doing here. i can't talk to him! oh no. he's coming this way.
