AN: I'm back with more for this fanfic! Yay! I'm gonna try and do a rotation with my different fanfics but for now we got this as well!

It was a quiet night at the guild hall. Mostly everyone was eating and talking and having a good time, the Protectors had even been invited to dine with them for the night. It was a good time all around. Or it was.

It started faintly but gradually it got louder and louder until everyone could hear shouting coming from outside. Ritchie and Brandon looked at each other before going outside to break up whatever fight could be happening while the others followed after in curiosity.

When they got outside, they were shocked to see who was fighting.

Mario and Daveed had never really fought since they got together. Sure there was light teasing and small arguments but nothing big. But here the two were in a full-on shouting match.

"Hey break it up." Ritchie said striking both of them with lightning.

Both Mario and Daveed looked at their guild master even as Mario said as respectfully as he could. "With all due respect, master, don't get involved in this."

"I'd like to know what exactly this is?" Brandon asked raising an eyebrow.

"It's just a slight disagreement-"

"Slight disagreement?" Daveed growled at the dragon slayer. "You're keeping things from me!"

"I told you to just leave it alone, Daveed!" Mario growled back.

"No! I understand the need for some secrets but this is interfering with our relationship, Mario!" Daveed shook his head.

"It wasn't until you brought it up and wouldn't leave it alone!" Mario huffed before saying. "I'm going home!"

With that, Mario stomped away even as Daveed turned and did the same.

Everyone was confused by what had just happened. What exactly was Mario supposedly keeping from Daveed that would cause an argument this big? They didn't know. Then Bryan got a look in his eye as he said. "I'll go talk to Mario."

When Kit, Jakey, and Kay looked like they were going to argue, the fire dragon slayer just held up his hand and said. "Trust me on this."

They reluctantly nodded even as Kit and Inmo decided to go talk to Daveed.
