Khushi got ready and walked towards her new office. This is going to be her first job that's too far away from her home. She just hoped that everything goes well on her first day, but God had some other plans for her.

She got pissed by the question from which she is coming from. She never expected that the people be this dumb even after knowing that she comes from a rural village in the north east India.

"You look like Chinese" one of her colleague, Lavanya said.

"Do you have relatives over there?" Another one asked making her pissed off.

Khushi dismissed them with a polite smiled and started to do her work. Few hours later, she found a man coming and sitting next to her cubicle in a hurry. Once he got settled down, he noticed her.

"Hey, are you the new employee?" Arnav Singh Raizada asked Khushi.

"Yeah, I'm Khushi Tayeng."

"I'm Arnav Singh Raizada. So are you from North East?" He asked making her surprised.

"Yes, but who told you that I'm from north east?"

"Well, one Indian can surely identify another fellow indian." Arnav said making her smile.

"That's sounds so great. Finally I got a break from the typical stereotype question of me being from China."

"Everybody is not as intelligent as me."

"Yeah, it seems likes that Mr Raizada."

"Please call me Arnav."

"Sure." Khushi replied and went back to her work with a bright smile.

This is probably a 5 shot. A small story which was in my mind for a long time.
