"We meet again."

I groaned at the voice. It had to be the same male as before. Just my luck.

"What do you want?"

"Why are you asking me? I work here!"

I rolled my eyes and breathed out in frustration, rubbing my forehead.

"Right of course."

"I see you chose the strawberries again." He eyed the strawberries in front of me.

I rolled my eyes and ignored him as I pulled my purse out.

"Rude!"

I glared at him as I pulled the money out of my purse, I nodded at the strawberries, "how much are they today?"

"For you, the same as yesterday. I'll make an exception."

"Thanks-" I spoke before getting cut off.

"If you go on a date with me?"

"No!" I hissed at him.

He held up his hands up in surrender, chuckling.

"Someone's sour, there are lemons over there... You can join them if you'd like."

"Look I'm just going to pay and leave, okay." I slammed the money on the counter.

I reached for the strawberries but my hand was slapped away.

"50 more cents sweetheart, you see you didn't take my offer so instead of $1.50 it's $2 now."

I held the bridge my nose and clenched my eyes shut. This insensitive pig. I pulled an extra 50 cents out of my purse and slammed it in his hands.

I snatched my strawberries off of the counter, glaring at the male before making my way towards the exit.

"Say goodbye to your lemon family on the way out sweetheart!"
