One day the tan girl was walking home and almost on instant was jumped by socs. Immediately a young teenage boy, wearing a blue plaid jacket and a white tee. He had golden hair that was once a chestnut brown like the girl before him, showed up.

The boy fought off the socs as if he had done it once before. As soon as the young boy pulled out a pocket knife, the socs ran. The young boy then helped the deaf girl up to her feet.

"Are you okay?" He asked the girl. The girl couldn't speak so she read his lips and used sign. "I am okay. Thanks for the help." The girl signed. "What is your name? I'm Ponyboy Curtis." The boy introduced himself. The girl smiled and signed her name.

"My name is Aleia Kennedy."
