Sonia's POV

The Coronation bell had rung. I took a deep breath. Conceal. Don't feel. Don't let it show.

As I stood there, waiting to take the scepter, I noticed Sonic waving shyly to a green furred hedgehog. I knew Sonic was gay, but is he falling for this hedgehog?

The minister then held out the pillow with the scepter on it. I was about to take the scepter when the minister said this that chilled my bones.

"You're majesty, your gloves."

Inside my head I was panicking. But on the outside, I was trying to look like it wasn't a big deal.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I notice Sonic look at me worriedly. I hand my gloves to Sonic. I take the scepter. 

Conceal.

The minister was saying a speech.

Don't feel.

I glance down, there's ice crawling up the scepter slowly.

Don't let it show.

I couldn't take it, I quickly put down the scepter and snatch my gloves from Sonic.

The minister ended his speech. Everyone stood up and clapped.

Sonic's POV 

After the speech ended, we were supposed to party the night away. Then I heard my name.

"And Prince Sonic of Arendalle."

I scammed over to where Fleetway was, stopping there and waving awkwardly. Until he moved me next to Sonia.

"Wait, are sure I'm supposed to be here? Cause I don't-oh! O-okay...."

Sonia and I stood there for a second, awkwardly.
