Two years later...

Knock knock knock

"Prince Sonic? Prince Sonic, wake up!"

"Hmm? Who is it?" Sonic mumbled. 

Today was Coronation day for Sonia, after turning of age to take the throne. Everyone was getting ready for the event. That meant Sonic would have to get up.

"Did I wake you, you're highness?" Asked Fleetway from the other side of the door.

"Huh? Oh *Yawns* no, I've been up for hours!" Sonic called back sleepily. He slowly began to go back to sleep...

Knock knock knock

"Who is it?" Sonic, again, called drowsily.

On the other side of the door, Fleetway rolled his eyes, "It's me still your highness, it's time to get up to get ready for your sisters Coronation!"

"Coronation?" Sonic Asked.

Outside, Fleetway was trying hard not to burst though the door and strangle Sonic. He quickly gained back his composure and answered cooly, "Yes, your sisters Coronation, it's Coronation Day!"

Sonic's eyes drifted over to where his green jacket was. He sat up suddenly, with realization.

" it's Coronation Day!"

Sonic: The window is open!

So's that door!

I didn't know they did that anymore!

Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates?

For years I've roamed these empty halls

Why have a ballroom with no balls?

Finally they're opening up the gates!

There'll be actual real live people

I suddenly see him standing there

But then we laugh and talk all evening

Which is totally bizarre

Nothing like the life I've lead so far!

Sonia: Don't let them in

Sonia: Tell the guards to open up the gate!

Sonic: The gate!

So it has to be today!

Sonic's POV:

I was slammed into by a horse! A horse for crying out loud! I stumbled backwards and stepped into a bucket (silly me) and fell into a boat! It started to tip over, into the water!

"Oh, oh, oh!" I wailed, expecting to tip into the water.

Suddenly the horse's HOOF saved me, by slamming it down on the other end of the boat.

"Hey, would you mind? Like, controlling your horse? Because I don't-" I was cut off by the SIGHT of the owner of the horse. 

He had green fur (which looked pretty soft), peach muzzle, arms and stomach. His eyes were an icy blue that seemed kind and caring. He had two twin scars on his stomach, and he was wearing a black leather jacket with flames up the side. Holy Chaos, he was handsome!

"Are you all right?" Asked the stranger.

"Uh, heh, yeah...?"  I think that was more of a question than an answer, but he didn't seem to notice.

"Prince Scourge of the Southern Isles" He said dipping his head.

"Oh, um, Prince Sonic of Arendelle." I replied.

"Prince?" Scourge asked, then suddenly dropped down to a knee, " You're highness!"

Unfortunately the horse slightly let go of the boat, causing Scourge to fall onto of me, our muzzles close together.

"This is awkward." Scourge stated.

The horse slammed its hoof back down on the boat, causing me to fall on top of Scourge.

"Oh!"

Scourge quickly helped me up. "We apologize for *ahem* tackling his highness."

Why-? Ooooooh! He must think that I'M the one being crowned today!

"Oh no! I'm not who you think I am! I-I'm just me." I said quickly, to avoid any more confusion.

"Just you?" Smiled Scourge.

"Y-yep! Just me, heh..."

We stood there in awkward silence until it hit me that the Coronation bell was ringing.

"The Coronation! Oh I have to go! Uh, see you around!" I called over my shoulder, racing away.

I saw him wave back... *sigh* so dreamy!
