A/N: I will take no questions regarding the absolute monstrosity you are about to witness. I wrote this for my own personal enjoyment, if anyone else does that's just a bonus.
-PERCY-
It had been just over a year since Annabeth's death. A year since Gaia was defeated. A year since I had stopped aging.
I had always known I would outlive her, but I thought we had time after we survived Tartarus. She died a hero's death, jumping in front of a spear meant for Thalia during the final battle.
People will start noticing soon, if I'm not careful. I've been surviving off of Hellhound blood since my birthday. You see, Vampires are actually quite human until we hit 18. The only difference is that what wounds we do get heal extremely quickly.
Now though, my aging has stopped and I've begun thirsting for blood. It's annoying having to hunt hellhounds, since most monsters see me and start running. Plus, I can really only feed from them since they can't talk and spread rumors. I do feel a tad guilty when I think about my diet while petting Mrs. O'Leary, but its a better alternative to humans or fellow campers.
If Zeus wanted to kill me in the beginning for being one of his brothers kids when I was a child, he would definitely try now that I pose an actual threat to the Greek world.
Not that I ever want or plan to cause trouble, although it does usually find me somehow.
I trip over something and crash to the ground, breaking me from my thoughts.
"Oh, sorry Neeks. Didn't see ya there."
"Ouch, I could tell that much Barnacle Brain. What the hell are you doing anyway? You've been walking laps around the Big House for an hour!"
"Really? Shit I think I was supposed to be somewhere. I've been stuck in my head since Monday- the anniversary and all."
Nico's face turns somber, an understanding flashing across his features, before a hint of sadness flashes through his eyes, which he masks as anger through the tone of his next words. "Yeah, you missed the councilor's meeting again. If you don't start attending I'm gonna stop giving you recaps!"
"Sorry." I sheepishly run a hand through my shaggy hair, I've grown it out to be close to chin length now. "What did I miss?" I give him my signature lopsided grin.
Niko rolls his eyes and mutters some curse words in Italian under his breath before responding, "Well the main point is that you, me, and sparky are going on a mission to find a few of the minor gods who fought against us in the war. We have to either find them so the gods can arrest them, or get them to swear allegiance to the Olympian Council."
I let out a long, slow whistle. "That's a tall order, and quite a few of them will attempt to kill me on sight. Why us?"
"They want Jason because he's the ambassador to both camps, me for pretty much the same reason, and you because you've retired from leadership from both. Showing unity between camps or something. Oh, also according to Aphrodite I can scare them into talking, Jason can fight them into it, and you can charm them into it or kill them; whichever you're feeling suits you that day."
"I mean, I feel like that's very shallow judgements of our character but I expect nothing less from the gods. Do we at least have a list of who we're tracking down?"
"Yeah, its just the three they haven't been able to catch. Khione, Hekate, and Nemesis."
"I have personally pissed off two out of three, they really didn't think this through at all." I sigh. "We leaving tomorrow I presume?"
"Yup. I'm gonna go inform Will that I'll be gone. You mind popping over to Camp Jupiter to inform Jason?"
"Aren't you the one with shadow travel powers?"
"You'll figure it out! Besides, I know you have way more tricks up your sleeve than you're letting on." Niko winks at me before running off towards the infirmary.
I haven't attempted water travel since before my birthday, I suppose I could give it a go again now that my powers have practically doubled.
With a grunt, I'm off to Camp Jupiter- hopefully.

The next day, after an accidental stop in Japan before grabbing Jason the day prior, we've decided to make our way to Hekate first, followed by Nemesis, and finally Khione since she's the only one none of us have personally pissed off.
It takes two weeks to track down Hekate, and when she refuses to listen to us we summon Ares with the token we were given and he takes her in with a fight.
After another month, we find Nemesis. She was actually hellbent on revenge for Kronos due to the death of her only son in thirty years, Ethan Nakamura. I tell her my stories of giving him second chances and talking to him at camp, and she decides to go to Olympus to discuss a peace treaty.
Then she stabs me in the stomach, and I snap her neck with my vampire strength since I'm pissed off. She won't die, but when Apollo comes and gets her he gives me an odd look and a pat on the shoulder.
Nectar and water help my wound, but I won't fully heal until I feed at some point. I haven't been able to since this escapade began, and my eyes are turning a dark black while my patience runs thin.
By the time we reach Quebec the next day with Shadow and Mist travel, I'm ready to rip off someone's head and honestly hoping this goes similarly to yesterday.
"Alright, before we go in to see Khione I have to brief you. Last time I was here with Leo and she does not enjoy being called hot. Also, she imprisoned Hera, so I have huge doubts about this." Jason explains.
"Is it bad that I kinda want a fight? Nemesis put me in a bad mood." I say, smiling creepily.
"Bro, sometimes you honestly scare me. I'm not even gonna ask how you broke a goddesses neck with one hand because I don't wanna know, but I think you should get some therapy or something after this." Jason says, while Nico nods.
"I've already talked to Will about the anger issues. I just have to find a healthy outlet for it. So far I think breaking the necks of traitors is a good one." I shrug.
"Whatever man, we just need to get this over with and go back to camp. We left Clarisse of all people in charge, who knows what we'll come back to." Nico implores.
I shudder at that thought, and we make our way inside the palace of ice.
The castle is breathtaking from its sheer beauty. I can practically feel the place humming with excitement as I enter- the entire place is made of water. This only heightens my already restless energy, and I'm bouncing on the balls of my feet when Nico knocks on the grand doors that lead to the throne room.
We shockingly don't see any storm spirit guards around, but remain cautious just in case.
The doors open, and in the center of the crystalline room sits the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on. My breath catches in my throat, and I suddenly pay very close attention to everything she is saying.
"Well, Jason Grace, you decided one uninvited visit just wasn't enough for you, hmm? And who have you brought with you. I don't see that lovely French speaking girlfriend of yours." Her eyes dart briefly to Nico, examining him, before they finally meet my intense gaze. She looks mildly taken aback, then intrigued.
"These are my friends Nico DiAngelo, son of Hades and Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon."
"Ah yes, I've heard about you both. However, I think it best you say what you must and take your leave. I'm terribly busy at the moment." But her eyes don't leave mine.
I decide to speak, because if I don't I might combust under her icy stare. "We've come with an offer from the Olympian Council. If you swear allegiance to them, they'll leave you alone and won't punish you for your crimes against them."
A conflicted look crosses her elegant features for a moment, before her mask of indifference flutters back into place.
"I'll have to think about that for a bit. Shall we discuss it after dinner perhaps? You all must be starving based on how you look."
Nico and Jason look like they're about to turn her down before I intervene. "It would be our pleasure, take the time you need and thank you for the offer."
Before Nico or Jason can speak their rebuttals, she's motioning some maids to take them to a room to wash up before dinner.
After they're gone and we're alone in the throne room, she comes down from her throne towards me.
"You're injured Perseus." She says this while going to touch the wound on my stomach, which my torn shirt leaves exposed along with most of my chest.
"Nothing a nice meal won't fix." I say, gasping as her hand travels up my abdomen lightly.
"You're so cold." She looks at me more closely, our faces inches apart as she peers into my nearly black eyes with her icy blue ones.
"Yes," my breath hitches, "it's been a long while since I've had contact with anyone my temperature." I shouldn't be telling her this, but something in me needs me to confide in her.
"There's only one creature I know of that is as cold as me. And with eyes like that, it's been a long time since you've had a proper meal, hasn't it Perseus."
Her hand has traveled to the back of my neck now, she's quite tall as we're nearly the same height. I gulp, "How do you... you aren't afraid of that?"
"I've been to a feeder den before, in my younger adventurous days."
Her attraction to me makes sense now. In feeder dens, vampires bite people and only drink enough for the pleasurable feelings to arise in both parties. There is usually sex involved.
"Ah, does that... interest you at the moment?" I boldly ask, relishing the feeling of her cold skin as my hand trails down her right arm.
"Very much so, indeed. But we should probably go somewhere more private than the throne room."
With that she whisks me away to a private bath, and in moments we're making out. I have a moment of guilt, I haven't been with anyone since Annabeth's passing. I soon smother that thought though, as I'll live for a long time and I can't live it entirely in the past. She wouldn't have wanted me to.
With that thought pushed aside, I begin making quick work of Khione's dress as she does the same with the remains of my clothing.
After a few steamy minutes, it doesn't take long before we're having sex in her private roman bath.
"Bite me." She moans from underneath me, and I flip us so that she's on top. This allows me better access to her neck.
I groan in pleasure with the new position, before extending my fangs to take it up another notch. I sweep her long black hair from her right shoulder, but before I bite down I leave a love bite, to mark the spots my fangs will enter. The venom in my saliva will help numb the pain, making the experience even more pleasurable. This causes her to groan in pleasure, running her hands up each side of my spine while my left caresses her butt, before going further down and gripping the back of her thigh.
"I haven't fed in far too long, smack me or something if I start taking too much." She nods in response, before exposing her neck again. The bruises I left are already forming on her pale skin, and I smirk before finally plunging my fangs into her flesh.
Immediately I know that this is the best blood I have ever tasted. Unsurprisingly, considering I've been on a monster diet up until this point and I'm currently relishing in a goddess. I also know instantly that I don't want to fuck this up, because I definitely want to do this again.
I drink from her slowly for a few minutes, proud of my ability to control myself. We both enjoy the experience very much, and both finish within that time.
We wind up just holding each other for quite some time afterwards, until an unsuspecting maid comes to fetch her.
"Lady Khione, are you in here? Dinner was served ten minutes ago and no one has been able to find you or that Jackson- oh." She stops short, awkwardly glancing at us through her fingers once she notices what she's walked into.
"Ah yes, would you mind letting the guests know that Perseus and I were busy in the medical hall healing his stab wound? Oh, and fetch him some new clothes from my brothers room if you would as well."
"Of-of course my lady. Right away." She stutters as she runs away.
I let out a deep chuckle, running a hand through her hair and kissing her neck lightly.
Khione giggles and then lets out a low moan. "That was amazing. And I'll agree to the Olympians treaty on one condition." She says while poking my in the chest.
I raise an eyebrow, "and what might that be?"
"You stay here for a bit, and agree to visit every once in a while."
"Well, that is definitely arrangeable. But it can't just be that simple." I look her in the eyes seriously. Icy blue to intense green, now that I've fed some.
"I allied with the giants and Gaia for one reason- because my father did. He recently decided I was a disappointment and cut me off from his riches and his life. I'm perfectly fine on my own, but without his and my brothers allegiance I fear I don't have many allies. It would be a good strategic move at this point to realign myself."
"I can understand loyalty for your father. There were times in the war the only reason I stayed loyal to Olympus was because of my friends and my father."
"I'm glad we understand each other then. We should probably head to dinner with your friends, but first I have a question of my own. How ever did you become a vampire without anyone else noticing?
"My mother's grandfather is a vamp, but the genes were dormant in the bloodline until it was infused with godly energy and I was born. My mother only noticed when I was six and killed a snake with my bare hands, then drained it with my fangs. I spent a school year with him when I was ten and learned everything I needed to know. I was given the option to stay in the coven and live that life or go play human until I died or turned 18. I opted to enjoy normalcy for as long as possible, which only wound up being until I was twelve but it was nice nonetheless."
Khione seems entranced as she takes in this information. "Doesn't that mean you have to go back now that you're 18?"
I shrug. "I'm just letting them assume I'm dead for now, but you're right we really should go for dinner now. You're probably starving now." I wink cheekily.
She blushes golden, before getting out of the warm water and tossing me the fresh set of clothes that had been left by the door and shrugging on her dress.
I dry her off with my powers, and we walk into the dining room together.
"Hey guys, sorry we're late. Nemesis's knife caused more damage than we initially thought." I say.
Nico accepts that answer with a comment of "Nice hockey jersey." Before beginning to dig into his food, but Jason glances at the hickeys on both of our necks with a raised eyebrow and an amused grin.
"Ah, well I'm glad you're feeling better." He winks. I give him a "we'll discuss this later" glare that shuts him up, before Nico starts talking again.
"Um, no rush ma'am, but have you made a decision or do you need any more information to make one?"
"I believe I have all the information I need." She states, and I can tell by her body language she is attempting to think of a cover story on the fly.
"Actually, while she was patching me up we discussed it. She regrets her loyalty to Gaia and wants to make amends. She's actually agreed to train me with snow, since its a water based element."
She smiles at me genuinely, grateful for the believable story and the excuse for me to keep visiting.
After dinner it's late, and we decide to take her to Olympus for her swearing ceremony tomorrow. She has a maid escort us each to a bedroom, and I am unsurprised when the maid that caught us leads me instead to Khione's private bedchambers.
"Thank you miss." I say as she bows and scurries away again.
Laughing, I enter and decide to wait for Khione to come up to bed.
I walk into the bathroom and prepare to shower, but gasp as I look in the mirror and see a new tattoo wrapped around my left bicep, next to my heart.
It is the mark of a vampire that has found their life-mate, and this just got a lot more complicated.
