Chapter 25
Not much happening for this chapter but I hope some of my readers can give me ideas for the wedding.
....
Brooklyn and Elsa continued to hug one another, until hearing the Earth Giants come over, looking over what the three family members have done. The red gargoyle looked over, grinning up at the leader, using his new wind power to blow some leaves around, causing the Earth Giant to smile as well.
He leaned over, Anna, Elsa, and Brooklyn stepping up to him, putting his hand on its nose. All the Elements were now at peace with each other finally.
Mattias and the other guards also wanted some questions answered when they went back to the main entrance of the forest whose mist had finally cleared. Anna took his hand. "Arendelle's ok," She informed, Mattias's eyes widening in surprise. "Really?"
"And apparently, I now am the Wind Spirit," Brooklyn told Mattias who was still stunned at this revelation, unable to take it all in which sent a laugh inside Brooklyn, Elsa holding his hand. "Ahtohallan is beautiful without the mist." Elsa said, gasping a bit when feeling the Fire Spirit show up in her hand. "Oh, hello there."
The fire spirit squeaked, going from Elsa to Brooklyn, crawling on his hand. He smiled, using his wind power to float him into the air, the spirit squeaking in joy from his ride.
Honey Maren put a hand on Elsa's shoulder. "You know you and Brooklyn belong up here." Brooklyn froze some at those words, not sure if he really did, his clan suddenly coming into his head, wishing he could return home to them still.
Elsa nodded. "I took an oath to always do what is best for Arendelle. Luckily I think I know what that is." She claimed, glancing at her sister. Brooklyn knew Anna could be a good Queen, glad she was picked, while Olaf also said his own words.
"I still don't know what 'transformation' means, but I feel like this forest really changed us all," He declared, Brooklyn rolling his eyes while getting a hug from Elsa and Anna together, tears of love in his eyes. Brooklyn knew he would never forget this experience, ever.
....
A few days later...
Brooklyn and Elsa had made their own home in the Northuldran encampment, having a private tent all to themselves. He sat down on his bed, smiling at Elsa who was wondering how her sister's coronation was going.
"E-Elsa... do you think, your powers could probably send me back to Manhattan if they could?" He asked her curiously. Elsa was surprised, but wound up nodding. "I suppose they could. It would take quite a bit of it though, if it would send both of us."
Brooklyn tensed. "What do you mean?"
Elsa fluttered her eyes at him when sitting closer, his stomach feeling butterflies in it. "I wish to meet your main family Brooklyn. After our honeymoon, we'll return to your 'Manhattan' home." She then suggested. It caused joy to flood through the red gargoyle, tears falling down.
"That would... would be so great!" He sobbed, taking Elsa into a wing embrace. She stroked his cheek. "Think of it as a wedding gift." Next Elsa gave Brooklyn a big kiss on his lips, Brooklyn's eyes rounding before soon leaning into it. They stroked each other all over, which felt heavenly. Call it practice before their official wedding night.
After their private time together the two stepped outside, a little breathless but happy. Brooklyn never thought that he could have that much fun with the girl he loved until he felt the wind in him saying a note was coming after the gargoyle had sent a wave of wind to Anna earlier.
He guided the wind closer and closer until Elsa caught the note in her hands. "Was this you, Brooklyn? Getting a letter from my sister?" Brook nodded, blushing.
Elsa opened the note, reading it. "Charades Friday night, don't be late. And don't worry, Arendelle's doing just fine. Keep protecting the forest, and looking forward to hosting your wedding for you and Brooklyn."
Brooklyn was pleased with the note, also eager to have his wedding in Arendelle. Since Elsa was Queen once he figured it would be much more regal to have it over there.
"You wanna come to do charades with them, my love?" Elsa asked Brooklyn, who nodded.
"Sure, we can plan our wedding over there too and stay in Arendelle until then." Elsa agreed, calling on the Water Spirit so she could ride it to Arendelle while Brooklyn flew above.
Elsa had caused a small harmless frost to coat the water spirit to be more rideable. Brooklyn shot up into the air with his wind magic, happy it allowed him to fly better in the sky without gliding. "Race ya!" He teased, Elsa giggling as she coaxed the spirit horse to gallop faster. The young couple made their way around the Enchanted Forest, Brooklyn seeing an Earth Giant gaze up in his direction which he did a wave to, along with Honey Maren and Ryder waving as well.
Brooklyn smiled from the wind blowing through his hair, giving him energy and more excitement knowing that soon he and Elsa would be one in love, as the two of them went out over the now frozen ocean, right over to Arendelle.
....
Upon their arrival into the kingdom, Elsa continued on but Brooklyn halted. He realized there was one thing he needed to get for their wedding. "You keep goin! I gotta just go and do something," He called out since Brooklyn knew he didn't want Elsa to see the wedding ring until the ceremony.
Elsa nodded to him, encouraging the water spirit to continue on to the castle. Brooklyn flew into the air, trying to find the right store in Arendelle to buy the perfect wedding ring now that the townspeople have resettled into their homes and shops.
After some time flying around, Brooklyn smiled at eventually seeing what looked like a jewelry store. He landed, opening the store after seeing it open.
His eyes rounded at the sight of a lot of jewelry indoors, wondering what would be the perfect selection for his dear Snow Queen. When the bell rang a young woman who owned the store came into view from behind the counter, her eyes widening at the sight of her new customer.
"Oh! If-If it isn't Guardian Brooklyn! It has been a while since you've been to Arendelle," She said with a smile. Brooklyn nodded while studying the rings in a display case.
"Thanks. But I'm looking for the perfect ring for Elsa, whom I'm planning to marry." Brooklyn replied. A lot of the shiny ones sometimes caught his eye, especially one that had 4 big diamonds but he wanted something special, and not too showy.
The owner nodded. "I'll do what I can to help! Just feel free to browse our selection! And no payment required!" The red gargoyle appreciated that, studying each ring as much as possible.
It felt like it would take forever but soon, Brooklyn saw a ring that stood out from all the showy flashy ones. A smile appeared on his beak when seeing it. The ring was a nice gold band with a silver snowflake made of white diamonds on the surface.
That is definitely Elsa! Brook thought to himself. "I want that one," He declared, pointing at the ring. The owner smiled at him then taking the ring out, putting it in a small box. "I'm sure she'll love it."
Brooklyn took the ring box carefully in his hands, not wanting to drop it. "Thanks." Soon he left, the woman waving after him. Brooklyn took to the air again, pleased he was able to find the right ring and was eager to soon give it to his fiancee.
Upon arriving at the castle, he opened the door to meet with his 'family' inside, knowing they would probably be in the living room, running as fast as he could until he heard voices.
"Where is Brooklyn?" The red gargoyle heard Anna ask. Elsa's voice spoke then too. "Any minute now, I'm sure."
He opened the door. "Surprise!" Brooklyn greeted them all, seeing Queen Anna standing there now in her regal queen robes. She gasped in happiness, giving him a big hug. "Oh! Just on time! We were about to pick out the teams for charades!"
The gargoyle agreed that it sounded like fun, quickly stashing the ring he got into his pouch, Esla noticing a little but not paying any mind. "And how does it feel to be queen?" He asked Anna curiously.
Anna shifted her feet, her eyes nervous. "Honestly, a little bit nerved out at the idea I'm queen but I'm sure that I'll be able to keep the peace between Arendelle and Northuldra. We even put up a statue of our parents in the courtyard to symbolize our kingdoms connected by love."
Brooklyn's heart melted a little from those words. "That's great," He praised, a hand on her shoulder. "Now, let's get this game started!" The groups split into girls vs boys again, the game lasting most of the night.
.....
Later that night when once again girls won charades, Elsa and Brooklyn soon went to Elsa's room where they sat on the bed together, gazing lovingly at one another.
"Boy, we sure have been through a lot, and now we're getting married." Brooklyn said in a breathless tone, still finding it hard to believe they had done this much in the past few days. Elsa placed a hand on his chest which made his heart flutter.
"For sure. But, Brooklyn, I just feel that... ever since discovering that I was the fifth spirit of the Enchanted Forest, it helped me feel more free than I could ever imagine. It... was making me believe that I shouldn't be tied down to anybody."
Brooklyn's eyes grew afraid at that moment, thinking she was backing away from them exchanging vows until Elsa sent him a smile which caused feelings of arousal flood in him. "But now, with you having helped me save the kingdom, I think I could do anything with you by my side," She said in a soft tone, leaning into Brooklyn's hug who swallowed, relief in his veins, feeling his wings wrap around her, Elsa's moans coming from her.
"If-if our wedding is tomorrow, should we save this and sleep away from each other until then? And I have no idea what my vow is gonna be." Brooklyn said with a small lump of nerves in his throat. Elsa gave him a kiss.
"We can have one more moment before our big day. And I'm sure something will come to you." Brooklyn gave into his urges, kissing her back a little more deeply, stroking her hair and sides. The two cuddled up together on the bed to sleep, both feeling like they deserved to rest after their great adventure. Though tomorrow a bigger adventure for the two was about to come.
....
What should Brooklyn's wedding vow be? You can let me know in reviews or PM.
