Esme was dropped into the water without a second thought by Evangeline the person who saw Lorna's potential turned into a Hound. Some motivated people who worked under the possibly insane Doctor Campbell continued his inhumane hellish idea of drugged brainwashed turning mutants into killing machines. She was given a new concoction of Kick and Mutant Growth Hormone that made this even worse. Evangeline could  turn herself into a dragon making her now a killing machine controlled by Sentinel Services. 

She was practically mindless at this point but still vicious.  The other members of the Three in One were knocked out with a swing of her tail. Lorna had been fighting from a distance.  She was even further in her pregnancy and it was even more dangerous for her even from a distance to keep fighting.

The area around them was destroyed and abandoned ever since Evangeline transformed. They were fighting on a dock with the dragon who Kick pumped into her veins flying above the water.

Evangeline saw the Frost Sisters as the closest target and most important threats. She didn't react to the metal objects that slammed against her scales or the shards that tried to take over her wings. Or to Andy repeated attempts to hurt her. 

But when Esme was picked up and dropped he screamed.  He couldn't let her drown if she survived the fall. He couldn't just lose her like this. Finally when she tried to use her tail Andy sent it slamming against her own facing sending the woman crashing to the ground. 

She lost consciousness and a few scales. She reverted to human form but Andy didn't care he just had to reach Esme. He just couldn't let her die or her body just lest behind in that water.

He jumped in despite Lorna's protest and just swam.  It was freezing cold but he didn't care. By the time he found her and tried to swim back he it was too much but Lorna using metal got them both out.

He did everything his mom taught him about CPR. He was shivering,  he was shaking but he was worried about her and that's what won in the end. Ahe coughed out water and opened her eyes. 

" Andrew what happened to u-us?" Andy could barely speak but a impressed Lorna filled her in." You knocked her out and jumped in to save me?" She was grateful but Andy doing all this for her was what shocked her.

" I c-couldn't let you die there. S-sorry for having to give mouth to mouth. " He seemed to be embarrassed and expecting her to recoil.  She didn't in fact she went closer to him. For warmth she told herself and him.

The two freezing mutants accompanied Lorna to their vehicle after Lorna managed with great difficulty to dump two knocked out Cuckoos into one seat. With concern she did put in Evangeline.

On the drive back a perplexed Sophie and Phoebe woke up to seeing Andy and Esme asleep after getting close to together for warmth. 

" Don't be so shocked.  Be glad you didn't see him give her mouth to mouth after the swim. Now Cuckoos be glad your sister left the nest." Lorna's comment was met with their clear disapproval and shocked looks.
