Evangeline Whedon stared at Andy Strucker who was currently restrained and sedated using recently stolen objects taken from a laboratory that tried to completely neutralize mutants and the X-Gene entirely.  Evangeline had knocked out Andy herself during the altercation and conflict with the Hellfire Club versus the Underground that only took place a couple hours ago.

" Right now you could be reuniting with your family. After six months of separation and bloodshed you could be comforted by your family.  We could stop the suppressants and you could leave this area. Under Lauren and your parents supervision you could rejoin the Underground and help our network."

" No." Andy would have yelled but being knocked out by a mutant who could transform into a dragon really did a number on you. Especially if her tail slammed you into a car door after getting a few minor burns.  His platinum blond hair had been lightly singed but none of it was burned off. He took all of that for Esme when he threw her aside to take the blow from rhe firebreathing elder. 

Evangeline shook her head clearly noticing the hatred and the discomfort from the young telekinetic. " The Stepford Cuckoos really did their best when they warped your young mind. Your sister's been incomplete without you and your parents have been heartbroken seeing you destroy and kill. Your family suffered the ultimatel betrayal because of you their youngest beginning as the Hellfire Club's little project of twisting people into their little sadistic pawns to be cast aside. The Underground is a family the Hellfire Club is a prison that horribly corrupts and warps everything inside of it.

" No Means no Dragon breath.  The only older woman manipulating or trying to use me is you. I have family there. Lorna is like another big sister and we look out for each other. I'm going to relay a message from her to tell Marcos. It's a girl she's having and it's going to be healthy. And I trust people in the Hellfire Club and don't you ever call them the Cuckoos.  They are the Three in one or the Frost Sisters to imbeciles like you. And Esme is someone I trust with my life. I'll be out of here soon returning to her but you'll unfortunately getting off easy and won't be dealing with her when I get out of here."

He had a slightly sinister but satisfied look." She won't go easy on you and I can promise that. And for any other question the answer is hell no."  Evangeline shook a little bit and couldn't explain it. Andy's glare had a mixture of disgust., frustration,  bitterness and anger directed at her. She left the room and he smiled to himself. 

His loyalty and love was unwavering and the suppressant wasn't as powerful as it was supposed to be. His restraints started to shake and shift quietly.  Nothing could diminish his love toward Esme and wanting to be reunited with her.
