It was Lorna's fault in the first place that Andy and Esme ended up in this predicament.  Forced to share and bed and have every one jump to conclusions embarrassing both of them. 

Because of the Mutant Underground,  Sentinel Services, and other groups cracking down on the Hellfire Club or at least pursuing them the new Inner Circle consisting of Andy, Reeva, Sage, Lorna, Esme, Sophie and Phoebe had to relocate to small off the grid location for their own safety. 

It was the smallest Hellfire Base and the most difficult to locate.  Less luxurious then the massive safe houses the Hellfire Club usually dwelled in. They weren't enough room so there were two people per room except for Lorna obviously.  Sage and Reeva shared a room, Pheobe and Sophie as well, and Andy and Esme.

Then thanks to the baby kicking Esme's bed slammed against the wall creating a draft and destroying her bed forcing Andy and her to share a bed and a cold room.

The beds weren't tiny but there was barely any space. Andy was considerate giving Esme the pillow while she hogged most of the blankets. 

Both of them couldn't relax being so close to each other. Esme was prepared to hear hormonal thoughts that would have been annoying but instead all he thought about was the cold and being uncomfortable.

Surprisingly and reluctantly she shared the blankets and pillow covering both of them while making they be closer. " I'll know if you think about it and never mention this. " This was not as threatening as just very awkward. 

But he was thankful." Thanks Esme it was freezing.Sorry if this is weird for you but I appreciate this."She tried being nonchalant but it was hard while they were face to face.

It was still weird but Andy just started talking. Sharing a couple stories that were pretty funny made her laugh.  They talked to each other having innocent fun until they finally had to sleep. 

" Good night Esme." " Night Andy." They were happy but apparently in the night they unconsciously moved closer to each other. Smiling and around each other.  Also sleeping on late giving everyone a surprise and a misconception. 

They tried blaming their misunderstanding on Lorna when they were woken.

" So I'm the Mistress of Magnetism and Matchmaking and you did this just for warmth and comfort. Your the one who misunderstood what happen last night."
