This takes place about a few days after part one not that much time. I won't say if they have powers in this AU.

" She's just really cool Lauren and stop calling her that.  She's already called and said she's coming over. Don't ruin things with the most awesome and only friend I've ever had Lauren. So stop saying that." 

Esme had been calling Andy's house for a couple days and they hung out at school. They were each other's best friends.  His mom saw them a few times when she just dropped or picked him up at school.

" Andy's got a girlfriend. " She kept repeating it happily teasing him. Ever since she found out about his new friendship she teased him ans kept talking to her parents about it. When he went home on the day he first met Esme Lauren had ran into the car telling their mom Andy had a crush on a older girl.  It was so humiliating and annoying. 

Whenever he made a drawing at home to give to Esme Lauren had been looking over his shoulder and he kept telling her to cut it out.

His mom was happy about his friend but didn't stop Lauren's behavior Catlin Strucker was smiling looking at her youngest child. " I know Lauren's seems so mean but she's just being a big sister. She's looking out for you and having fun. I think it's great you can befriend someone older then you and so different. "

Andy was glad his dad was able to get home soon amd Esme a little later. Esme had come out of a fancy car alone.

" It's a chauffeur my sister's are still a little ill so my mother staying with them." She told Andy's parents.  " My mother works all over but when she brought over a souvenir my sisters caught something and got really sick."
She stopped speaking about her family and told the Struckers her side of what happened.  She left out her and Andy being alone and outsiders but told them how they both liked X-Men and all the fun they had. Esme mentioned how Andy gave her a couple of drawings and she was teaching him a few things.  When Lauren but in the conversation ready to tease them Esme gave her a annoyed glare.

Andy brought her to his room showing off everything.  His drawings,  comics,  posters and some family pictures. " Every now and then during the summer my family goes somewhere great maybe your family could tag along."

" Maybe after my sisters get better and my mother deals with some things. " She said with a conflicted smile.  Andy gave her a couple of old drawings and they started sharing stories. 

It became a routine a constant in their relationship over the years. Their entire lives sharing amd talking with Andy making a illustrated account of it the entire time. When their friendship became something more in the years to come.
