Andy had no idea why Esme brought him along on her day of relaxation.  No ulterior motive no immediate fight with humans just fun.  She must have read his mind because every thing they did together was incredibly enjoyable for both of them. It was the most fun he had in the past year. With the Hellfire Club's practically endless funds and resources Esme was abusing for them just hanging out.

At least Andy thought it was just hanging out. Esme bought him drawing pens,  charcoal and drawing supplies. They ate out and hr managed to make her laugh dozens of times.  Andy saw amazing sights.

They stayed out late goofing off with their powers making humans trip and humiliate themselves.  When they were tired they sat down to look at the sky and the stars.

Andy knew he wouldn't forget this day anytime soon. But he wondered if this counted as a date. She brought only him, dressed her best and practically paid for everything.  But why she would she want to go out with him?

"It counts Andy. And don't sell yourself short. Why wouldn't I? I picked every place with both our interests in mind. Everything was planned out. I even talked to Lorna because she insisted on permission. And for this."

Andy had the best first date of his life and his first kiss. It didn't just surpass his expectations it shattered them. It was one of the best experiences in his entire life. He couldn't wait for the next one. He didn't care who asked next time.  Whether it was Esme or him.
