Chapter 1: Darkness/Light

          Darkness… That’s all I ever see. Ever since Master Pitch took me so many years ago but it’s grown on me. That’s all I ever know of is darkness. But that one night when I first woke up to see the moonlight. I still think about that light, wondering where it went before Master Pitch got to me. “Sir. Frost?” I hear behind me. I turn to see one of Master Pitch’s servers at my door. “What do you want?” I growl. I see the man shiver as the cold air blow by him. I love the power to control the wind, it make people fear me more.

          “Master Pitch… Wants to… see you…” He shudders before he runs off. I do a short laugh before I go see Master Pitch. I don’t know why I still call him that; we both know I’m stronger than him. Maybe out of respect that he saved me. If you call this being saved, living in the darkness. I stop in front of a black door with sand swirling around it which is a bad thing. Great his pissed.  I thought as I was about to knock when I heard him starting to yell.

          “Who the hell is this girl!?” I hear him yell and then I hear a crash. I roll my eyes, he broke something over someone head. “Why didn’t you find her sooner? What is wrong with you?” I hear Master Pitch yell. Who is he talking about? Who is this girl? “Where’s Jack?” I hear which my cue to knock. I see the door swing open to a girl with a hand over her eye; I can see blood starting to go between her fingers. “Oh Sir. Jack, Master Pitch has been waiting for you.” She says between sobs. I won’t lie, it hurt to see her like this, Master Pitch could be such a dick sometimes.

          I walk by her but stop and whisper, “Go get your eye checked out please.” I see her do a quick nod before she ran out of the room. I turn my attention to Master Pitch and place my hands in front of me and cup them together. “You wanted to see me?” I ask. I see Master Pitch stand and put his hands on his table. “How many times have I told you not to treat the slaves as humans? I raised you better than this.” I tried not to roll my eyes.

          “You hurt her Pitch. She was bleeding.” I say before I feel some sand go around my throat. “Don’t you dare talk back to me boy! Remember who I am. I’m your worst nightmare!” He finally let’s goes of my throat and I can feel air go down to my lungs. “I’m sorry Master Pitch.” He sighs and slicks back his black hair. “Let’s just get to business.” He clicks a button and a girl pops up on screen. I feel my eyes widen as I look at her.

          Long blonde hair, a body with curves and the lightest blue eyes I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. “This is Elsa Snow; she is a famous ice skater. Won three gold medals and had five body guards.” I raise an eyebrow, “Why do you want her? And why so many body guards for an ice skater?” I ask. Pitch moves away from the screen and walks over to me.

          “Why does she have so many body guards?” I ask again. “Well her family is famous, she’s a Princess.” “A Princess who is a famous ice skater? That’s new.” Pitch gives me a look and I just smirk at him. “Frost, what do you think of her?” He asks me. I look at the girl again, “She’s beautiful, but she’s shy, and to herself. Looks like she doesn’t like to be around a lot of people, maybe only family members. Why are you asking me this?” That’s when I see the smile, the smile that his planning something.

          “I want you to meet her. I need you to be her new body guard.” I huff, “Why Master Pitch? Why is she so importance to you?” He crosses his arms, “You’ll find out soon enough. But for now, you don’t ask me questions you just do as I say. Do you understand?” I nod, “Yes Master Pitch.” He walks back over to his desk and clicks a button and the girl disappears. “Now, we need to make you more… attentive.” He says with a smile. I glare at him, “You changed my looks once, what are you going to do now?”

          Pitch sends black sand around me and I feel myself changing. I open my eyes and look in the mirror. My hair was a shagging short white snow blonde and my dark blue eyes are now light, like snow. I turn back to Pitch. “Better, she’ll find you charming like this.” He says and sits down. “Now, this is where you are going. You leave as soon as you walk out that door.” He says and pushes a folder to the edge of his desk. I walk over and grab the folder and open it, it had all I needed to know about this girl. “Good luck.” Pitch says as I walk out the door and back to my room to do my research.

Elsa

          “Harder Elsa! You need to push yourself!” I hear from the sidelines as I push my back more and arch it up. I spear my arms out as I reach for the stars. You got this! Push yourself! I tell myself as I straighten up and start to skate faster, to get more speed. I feel the speed as I jump in to the air, spin and land on one leg with the other one pointed behind me. I feel a smile go on my face as I hear clapping behind me.

          I stop and turn to see my Coach skating to me. “You finally got the move down.” She says with a smile. I smile back, “Thanks Punzel.” It’s nice to have my cousin as my Coach, at less I know she’ll never lie to me about my moves. “You parents would be proud.” She says under her breath, hoping I wouldn’t hear her but I did. But I choose to not say anything, she was right, I feel like they would be proud of me. And of Anna.

          “Oh we need to go. Anna is going to be waiting for us.” I say as we start to skate off the ice. “What do you think her big surprise is?” Punzel asks as we get off the ice and start to take off our skates. “I have no idea, but she’s been more hyper then she normally is.” I put my blue skates in my bag and start to grab it when I see a hand grab it before me. “Princess Elsa, your limo is waiting.” I hear my guard Mark says as he starts to walk to the car. I sigh and roll my eyes, “Princess Elsa, as hair to the throne you must always have a body guard. Blah, blah, blah.” I say as we start to walk to the limo.

          I see Punzel giggle, “Be nice, I have them too.” I look at her, “You married one of them.” I see her blush, “I couldn’t help but fall for Flynn, his just adorable.” I roll my eyes, but you know I’m a little jealous, I wouldn’t mind having someone like that. Someone who cared. “Hey pretty girl.” I hear as we reach our limo. I see a smile go on Punzel face as she starts to run to her husband who is just leaning on the limo waiting for his wife. Punzel jumps into his arms as her spins her around.

          “Hey you.” He says as he touches his forehead to hers. “Hey you.” She whispers back. I stay back and watch as they go into their own little world. That’s what I want, someone who can care for me and love me like Flynn loves Punzel. I shook the thought away, “As much as I love watching you two being in your own little world, I think I’m ready to go home, shower and change so we can go to dinner. Can we?” I hear Punzel giggle as she pulls back and starts to get into the limo. Flynn nods at me and I go into the limo and he falls after me. “Home please Leo.” I say as our limo driver starts to go home.

          “Elsa we’re leaving in five minutes, are you almost ready?” I hear downstairs. “Yes Mark! I’ll be down in a few.” I yell as I look at myself in the mirror. Anna told me to wear my short blue dress and to keep my hair down. I did as she asks ever though it’s not my favorite dress. Before I start to my door I stop and look in my room. I smile to myself and made a little snow fall around me.

           I look around and spin around, I don’t know why but whenever I make it snow, it calms me down. After the snow stops, and my hair is covered in snowflakes, I walk out of my room to see Mark by the door, “Are you ready Princess?” I nod, “Sure. Let’s go to dinner.”  He nods and helps me to the car.

*Ten Minutes Later*

          “Elsa!!” I hear as my sister Anna walks over to me and gives me a hug. Ever since my parents died a year ago, Anna and I have only grown closer. She pulls back and I see her boyfriend Kristoff behind her. “Hello Kristoff.” I say as I walk over and give him a hug. “It’s nice to see you Elsa.” He says with a smile. Out of all the guys my sister has meet, he was my favorite. He didn’t even know she was a Princess till they were dating for three months.

          “Come, let’s eat.” Anna says as we walk into a building but of course, we hear people yelling at us and cameras going crazy. “Princess Elsa! Princess Anna! Over here!” “Princesses are you excited for the New Year!?” Everyone is just yelling at us, it’s hard to have time for ourselves. But lucky for us, we get inside before anyone gets us. “God I hate that.” Anna says as Kristoff wraps his arm around her.

          “I know but it’s how we live now.” I say as we sit at our table. “Punzel and Flynn should be here soon.” I say as we order drinks and just enjoy ourselves. “I am so sorry we’re late!” We hear behind us to see Punzel and Flynn, “You won’t believe the traffic right now.” She says as she sits down and orders. “Life in our kingdom right?” Anna says as we all laugh and drink. It was nice to have our family.

          For about an hour we just ate and drank, it was the most fun any of us had had for a while. We’re all so busy. Punzel and I with my skating, and Anna with her baking store. I hear someone tapping a glass getting me out of my day dream. “Everyone, I would like to say something.” Kristoff says as he holds Anna’s hand. “As you all know, I love Anna and her family with all my heart. I would do anything for this family. Which is why I thought it would time to join you.”

          I can feel tears going into my eyes when I see Kristoff get down on one knee and ask Anna to marry him. “Yes Kristoff, I will marry you!” I hear Anna scream as Kristoff gets off the ground and puts a ring on her finger. Everyone starts to clap and scream and I gave her a big hug. “Oh Congrats Anna. You two are going to be perfect together.” I say as I pull back. I was happy for her, and I wish her nothing put happiness. After I watch Anna go show off her ring to everyone I slipped out and walked outside.

          I felt the cold air go around my neck and face as I took in the cold air. It felt nice. Even though I knew I was alone, I felt like someone was watching me. Someone I didn’t know. I look around but saw nothing but the wind. “Princess Elsa.” I hear which makes me jump. I turn to see Mark. “It’s time to go Princess.” He says with a smile. I sigh, “Sure.” I say and start to walk out of the building. Still having that felling that someone was watching me.

Hey guys!!! So here is chapter one of my new story!!! Don’t worry I’m still working on When Doves Cry! I will hope to update that one tomorrow!! Oh and I might be snowed in tomorrow who knows. We got 14 inches of snow where I’m from. 14 INCHES!!! That’s so much snow!!! It’s crazy! Anyways, leave me some comments on what you think, maybe some votes if you like it? That would be great!!
