PROM NIGHT

Everyone was dressed beautifully for prom with their dates. The music plate loudly and Ashley sat on her seat in her black dress sipping her juice silently watching everyone.

It was their last day together, tomorrow everyone was leaving for home to get ready for the next stage in their lives.

"I'm so excited you guys! I'll miss you!" Kimberly said with a huge smile on her face as they linked glasses.

"I love your dress, Ash."

"Yeah, I know." Ashley said subconsciously starting around.

"Where is my sister?" Ashley muttered getting up from her seat but Jace came to her, with his arms outstretched.

"Let's dance babe, I won't see you anymore." She eyes him. "You that lives two estates from mine."

He still managed to drag her away to the dance floor.

Hailey POV
I adjusted my makeup and I fumbled through my purse searching for my drugs.

Where did I get keep my medications?

I felt my heart clench and I placed my hand on my chest rushing out of the toilet and towards the dorm.

Never miss any day! It's important!

I remembered my brother's words and I ran frantically towards the dorms. Everybody we're inside the school hall for prom and the dorms were empty.

I collapsed onto the cold time groaning in pain.

"Looking for this?" A voice said beside me, and my medication landed beside me. I hurriedly grabbed it frantically but

It was empty.

Tears rolled down my eyes as my lungs constricted, "Please...my medications." I begged the voice behind who chuckled.

"I warned you, you and that sister of yours. You think you own everything, I wanted Sky but you! You took him from me, I never wanted it to get to this but haha! I'll show you." I tried to decipher the voice.

The owner of the voice was wearing a mask and a dress. "Why... Why do you have to?"

She chuckled walking away and I shakily picked my phone dialing the only number that was on my favorite.

Ashley.

"ash! P-please..pick up." But it kept going straight to voicemail.

Footsteps echoed as the female came back pulling on my braids, "I warned you.."

"m-my brother will never let you be!"

"oh, I look forward to that! I will destroy you and hand myself over the the police..at least a world without one of the Winters twins is better."

I sobbed trying to released her grip on my hair.

She plunged a knife into my stomach and I yelled in pain holding my stomach in pain.

"Say you in hell, Hailey." she pushed me down the railings as I felt the wind around my skin.

I collided with the floor, red oozing from my body as my vision began to blur, I looked up to where the girl that pushed me stood watching as the life left me.

She was dressed in a pink dress similar to mine. And there was only one person who wore a similar dress to mine.

Lois.

How could she?

Tears flowed through my eyes as she watched me from up there. I was going to hold on...just a bit, my sister, my sister will find me.

Ashley, please find me.

Third person POV

Dera danced with Damilare as they cheered loudly.

"Dami, I don't feel too good." Dera said to damilare holding onto his chest to stable herself.

"should we go sit down? Or do you want some small chops?"

"I don't k-" Before she could finish her words she collapsed, damilare catching her before she could meet with the floor.

Crowd dispersed giving them space as the teachers rushed to her aid.

Rebecca rushed to Ashley through the crowd.

"Ashley! Ashley!"

"Rebecca if you keep calling my name like that, you can as well take it and bear as your own." Ashley said in a bored tone, smoothing out her black dress.

"It's Hailey! She's not picking her calls and I can't find her anywhere!" Ashley's face morphed into a frown.

"what do you mean you can't find my sister?"

"i-"

Ashley ran out of the hall to find her sister as she bumped into Tolani.

"Hess watch where you're headed." She snapped glaring at Ashley who's face held a lot of worry.

Tolani stared at her, blocking her pathway. "could you excuse me?"

"And where are you off to like that? I mean who do you want to kiss up to? People pleaser." Tolani said eyeing Ashley who couldn't take it anymore.

"Tolani! I'm not in the mood for your tantrums. I'm looking for hailey!" Ashley said and Tolani's face morphed into a frown.

She hated Ashley but her grudge wasn't also to Hailey. "Let's go find her together, I'm not letting you take the glory yourself."

Ashley didn't even argue as they both held their gowns running to different directions to search for Hailey.

Ashley's POV

We weren't each other biggest fans but for the sake of finding my sister I didn't mind working with her.

"When I catch Hailey, I'm going to give her an earful. In fact I'm cancelling our trip to Paris, after stressing me out." I muttered to myself as we got to the dorms.

On getting there, we saw Lois standing near the railing staring down.

"Hey! What are you doing here? The party is in the hall." Tolani called out to Lois who laughed maniacally.

We both walked to the railings to see what was so funny that made Lois laugh like a mad woman.

As I reach the railings my eyes came face to face with a body on the last floor in a pool of blood, wearing pink shiny dress.

"Hailey!" I screamed running down the stairs while Tolani held unto Lois.

I got to my sister and knelt beside her, my black dress soaked in blood as I held her frail body in my arms.

"Hailey! Hailey!"

Her eyes fluttered open as she groaned, "Big sis..you're here..i knew you'd come."
