Standing in front of the principals office, Tolani has never been this scared and remorseful in her life.

   She nearly killed her best friend,  ex-bestfriend to be exact. She trembled in fear as she overheard the principals conversation with Ashley's elder brother, Justin.

PRINCIPAL POV
I glared at Akinola Tolani as she looked to the ground avoiding eye contact.
      I gulped as I dialed Ashley's brothers number, Justin Winters was a strict and no nonsense man. He never jokes with anything that concerns his sister and I was scared because the fate of the school was in Ashley's health.
     The only luck we had was that he hadn't involved his parents yet, If not Akinola Tolani would be spending her life in jail.

Principal Francois

How is she?

Unfortunately She's fallen into a coma.

Again?

Yes.. The wires that cut had some special fluid in them, so when they were reconnected her brain couldn't adapt to the fluids so she fell into a coma.

What did the doctor say?

...its a possibility she won't wake up again,  The doctor said she has survived longer that she's supposed to.

Jesus..

He said it was because her body stated too long without the fluid so it might not work again.. Only God can save her now.

Ah

I gotta go.. They are rushing her into the ICU

May God protect her.

Amen.

I rubbed my temples as I stared at Tolani.

"Sh-she's gonna d-die ri-right? " She stammered as guilt showed in her eyes.

"We pray not. "

"If you had just controlled your temper!! Now the poor girl is in the ICU!!! Fighting for her life!! " I snapped as she flinched at my outburst.

"Just go.. " she rushed out of my office as I slumped back to my chair telling my secretary to clear my schedule as I needed to see how Ashley  was fairing.

A knock came through  as the door creaked open revealing Jace as I raised an eyebrow..

"May I ask where you are going to? " he asked politely as I smiled.

"To check on the head girl "

"Can I come with? "He asked as I shook my head.

"Jace.. Who's gonna represent the school? " I ask him.

"the other prefects and the assistant head boy and head girl.. They can handle it"

"Jace.. "

"please" he begged as I sighed handing him the bag I was holding.

"Go get your past questions booklet and let's go" he rushed out as I waited for him in the parking lot.

DERA POV
I walked into class as I noticed a set of empty chairs.

Jace had gone with the principal to check on Ashley.

Ashley was in the hospital.

Tolani was moody in her room.

Rebecca was busy consoling Hailey who was crying.

I walked over to my seat as Hailey,  Rebecca, Kimberly,  Lois and peace walked in with grim looks.

"Hey guys " I said trying to cheer them up.

"Hey dera" Only peace seemed cheerful,  she sat next to me while the others sat behind us, occupying the spaces.

Tolani walked in as Hailey and Kimberly dashed up moving to where she was.

"I guess you're happy now Huh? "Kimberly muttered glaring at Tolani who seemed unfazed.

"what are you talking about? " Tolani asked clearly oblivious to what was going on .

"she's in a coma all because of you! "Hailey shouted pointing her index finger to Tolani.

"she was just trying to talk to you... But you had to Be Tolani!!! You just had to push her!!! " Hailey screamed stomping her feet on the ground.

"This is all your fault you b*tch!!!!! "Hailey shouted making Tolani flinch.

"You know what the doctor said? That there's a possibility of Ashley never waking up" Kimberly whispered into Tolani ear.

"you better pray to God that she wakes up... If not.... We'll make you join her wherever she is... If anything happens to my sister.. Akinola Tolani!! What we will do to you ehn.. The next time you hear someone bearing the surname Winters or Snow.. You'll run and cower in fear" Hailey said with venom dripping a+ her every word.

"is she threatening me? " Tolani asked Kimberly who walked towards her holding her shoulders.

"Ahan.. Tolani after 10 years of us being friends you should know us very well na" Kimberly said as she continued.

" We don't just make threats... We act on them as the saying goes ' Action speaks louder than words'" Kimberly taunted Tolani as she gulped with beads of sweat running through her face.

If anything happened to Ashley,
She was done for.
