Yewande POV
As we got into the gates of my aunt's house, I could hear muffled cries coming from upstairs as I came out of the car.

My aunt's house wasn't a mansion but the inside was wonderful . She was one of those low-key millionaires that didn't like attention.

Even with all the money flowing in she was still a typical Yoruba woman . Her husband was a sailor only comes home in six months time , stays for only 2 months and goes back to work.

As I went inside the house , the chandelier beamed with light as the muffled cries became louder, as I rushed into my aunt's room as I saw her holding a belt as my cousin was on the floor crying .

"Mummy!! I'm sorry!!" Tejumola cried as her mom wipped her again.

"Did I send you to university to be sneaking out and be partying!!! To be following Yahoo boys ehn Tejumola!!!!! You will not kill me oo!! Your brothers did not kill me o!!! " Aunty Wunmi shouted as Teju cried louder.

"Your last year exam in school , to read is problem you na had to commit exam malpractice ehn!!!! To disgrace us ehn!!!! Teju!!??No more school for you!!! God help you that it is your last year in school !!! If not no school will accept you!!" As she raised the belt again I shouted her name.

"Aunty Wunmi!!!!!! It's okay!!!" I shouted as I ran over to her and held Teju as My aunty shouted my name.

"Yewande !!!! Shift oo!!! Don't let this belt land on u instead!!" She said as I begged her to stop.

Tejumola body was red she was crying and her hair was messed up . She was shaking.

" E ma binu Aunty Wunmi!!!! Please!!! " I said as she threw the belt down as started pacing up and down.

"Your father must not hear this!!!! Your father must not hear this !!!! If not he will disown you!!!" Aunty Wunmi said as she panicked a little.

"Mummy please....don't tell him" Teju managed to speak out as her mom pushed her one side as she sat on the bed.

I managed to drag Tejumola out of the room to her room as I brought cold water as started pouring on her body.

"Yewande.......I'm....sorry.....he..lp...me...beg....mommy" she stuttered as I nodded and hugged her as she smiled lightly.

Tejumola and I were like the best of friends, we were also mistaken as sisters, we basically did everything together since little.

Even as I heard about that malpractice,I knew that whatever she had done she was under a lot of pressure.

As I helped lay her on the bed, she slept off shivering.

I went downstairs to see Aunt Wunmi sitting on the couch as she saw me she smiled

"Yewande, how are you my dear welcome home" she said as I hugged her and say down .

"Are you hungry ? Should I tell the maid to prepare something for you??what would you like to eat?" She asked as I calmed her down first.

"Big mummy !! About Tejumola....." As I brought the topic she just frowned a little.

"Mummy , Teju didn't mean to commit malpractice, I'm sure she was a lot of pressure. Teju would never do anything to hurt you or big daddy" She sighed softly.

" Don't tell Daddy , you know he will finish her ,but he would not believe Teju did it  ,Shes lucky to have finished school, she can get a job "I said as Big mummy sighed.

"She didn't finish school oh , her last semester exam she committed exam malpractice , the school decided to just fail her and give her result because she was one of their best and trusted students" Big mummy said as I looked at her .

"Mummy....." A faint voice said as we turned to see Teju coming from the stairs.

"I'm very sorry mum, I know I've offended you in ways you cannot explain ,you put ur trust in me and I failed you....... Mum..my ....plea...se...for..give me" Teju said as she cried.

Big mummy did not hesitate to lift Teju off the ground , she hugged her daughter wiping off her tears.

" It's okay you hear?? Don't cry again! Crying is for the weak!!! Are you weak!!!! Stop crying!! I have forgiven you , you are lucky you're not pregnant" Big mummy said as Teju laughed as her mum teased her.

"Tomorrow you will look for ...." Before mummy could even finish Teju interrupted.

"Sorry mum but Don't worry I have an interview tomorrow at a company." Teju said as her mom thought.

She didn't want her daughter to work in another company when they had one but she also didn't want her daughter to get to comfortable and not up her game.

"Okay oya let's go and eat Yewande must be starving " I nodded as we all went to the dinning table as we sat down said our prayers and eat smiling.

Jace POV

"Didn't you hear the latest school news!!! I'm a depressed freak!!! what are you doing near me when others are running away from me!!??" She asked raising her voice a little as she stared at me.

"What's your problem Jason!! I....."I cut her short as she called my full name as  I kissed her .

Well so it's true... kissing is one way to shut a girl up.

Ashley stared at me wide eyes she was about to slap me as I held her hand and pulled her closer.

"Be my girlfriend" I said with courage as she looked at me in shock.

"NO"

With that being said she walked out on me leaving the park.

I ran after her and pulled her back.

"Why ??? Why do u keep yourself shut out!!! Tell me??" I asked

"Stop!!!  You keep on hurting me?!! You and tolani!!! Let me go!!" She said as tears welled up in her eyes.

"Now I'm crying, I'm just weak , maybe I'm truly depressed" she said as I hugged her and shushed her.

"Crying doesn't mean you are weak, it means you have been holding it in for a long time.... Why can't you see that I truly like you, I'm sorry if I've hurt you" I said as she sniffed and moved away from me.

"Fine, I'll be your girlfriend" she said as my eyes glittered like I had candy.

"Really???"

"But on one condition...."

"And that would be" I asked as she replied.

"You have to never say you love me."

Dera aunt is a low key millionaire!!!!
Aunt Wunmi has made it.

Tejumola committed exam malpractice but everyone says she's not the type to do that.
Maybe she was on Serious pressure

Aunt Wunmi really dealt with her Dera had to use cold water on her cousin body.

Aunt Wunmi is a wonderful mother.
She didn't tell her husband and forgave her daughter like nothing happened.

I can imagine some people parents.....
