A timeless room I have discovered,

In the corners of my dusted attic,

It sits there in the fractured sunlight,

Waiting to work it's magic.

I would stay there for all eternity,

But alas, it has no kitchen.

So for one purpose it must only serve.

I look through the room's catalog,

Which sits on the mahogany desk,

Detailing all it's uses,

Some quite dungeonesque.

I go to the pages labeled 'For those of creative mind',

And find the obvious options,

For writing from time to time,

Or drawing to strive towards perfection,

But I want something a little more inventive.

So I turn to the last page,

Which appears to be blank,

But in that very moment,

My teacup falls over with a clank,

Against the darkened wood.

And by some strange coincidence,

Perhaps a turn of fate,

My lovely chai latte spills onto the book,

Which reveals a hidden note.

'Check the desk drawer' it says.

So I pull it open, and find a envelope,

Inside which lies a recipe,

Titled 'Timeless Portal Kaleidoscope'

I think I've found my answer,

So right to work I go,

Collecting the ingredients,

Running to and fro,

My excitement's mighty high,

New lands it will show,

And I'll get an invitation,

To fall through Portal Row.
